Sep 10, 2013Can you search for missing photos from within a folder? I know there's the command that says "find all missing photos" but that delivers results for the entire catalog. I'd like to see the missing photos from just one folder and wonder if that's possible.

May 3, 2013I am fairly new to lightroom. I pulled up 500 or so images from a wedding and went through them quickly starring them with the left and right brackets. When I was finished I went to the grid view in the library module and clicked on the filters, filter by rating, greater than or equal to one star (my images were in a collection by the way). When I hit that it says that no photos match my filter. Why?

I have relatively small (1k), and completely flat (non-hierarchical) keyword list.
for a small number of keywords, I have the following problem:
If I open Library, witht the centre panel in Grid View, then select Keyword List from the RHS panel, and select one these "problem" keywords, On the rhs of the screen it shows a number, indicating the number of images to which this keyword is attached.
I then click the arrow next to the number to display the images with this keyword.
the library filter opens in the centre panel of the screen area, dropping down the Keyword filter and correctly highlighting the selected keyword; however against this, the keyword show 0 matches and the message "No photos match the filter" is displayed.
If I right-click on the keyword in the Keyword List and select delete, the message is displayed that the keyword will be deleted from n photos
Thus I don't know if there are photos with the keyword which are just not being displayed, or whether there are a number of "phantom" keywords which are not associated with any images.
It may be that I am lacking understanding of some aspect of LR functionality; or that somehow there is an indexing problem within my LR catalogue.
Lightroom :: Graduated Filter Arrangement Into Several Hundred Action Photos
Jul 26, 2012I pasted the same graduated filter arrangement into several hundred action photos. I then slog through them in capture order, nudging them one way or another depending on crop and subject. On the next photo, the first time I click and drag --the filter NEVER moves! I must release and reclick to get it to move. This becomes highly annoying after a while. Enough so to write this.

Apr 17, 2006my screen is calibrated and i dont have problems with most photo shops...but the one hour place near me always underexposes the picture leaving it a bit dark.... its a consistant thing...my friend uses a exposure compesation plugin and bumps it up a couple points...should i just do the same thing with levels or is there a better tool? any thoughts???

Jun 12, 2013I am using Lightroom 4.4 and an Epson 3880 with printer driver ver. 6.6. I want to print a 16 x 20 image on 17 x 22 paper. I select a paper size of 17 x 22, and in the Lightroom print module, I set the margins to zero, and the cell size to height=16 and width=20. I turn on the ruler guide, and it shows that I will get a 16x20 image on the paper. However, when I print it, the image is about 3/8" larger than that in both dimensions.

May 22, 2012I'm using LR 3.5, and am wondering if I can have the filenames show on the images when I export them. If so, how do I make that happen? I am already watermarking a copyright script, which I suppose I could change to include the image name, but that would be pretty tiresome to do. Dec 21, 2013I run MacOS 10.9, Lightroom 5.3 and I print on an Epson R3000.
The first problem I had was that the images was printed on just a small part of the paper and it cut the images. I have attached a picture showing this. I totally reinstalled my computer and now it looks like that problem is gone (for now at least). But now the images are printed but much smaller than the paper I specify. If I specify A3+ I get something close to A4. Borderless printing on 6*4 looks to be working as it should but that's the only I managed to print so far.
I tested printing from Photoshop 5.1 and that worked fine.

Sep 27, 2012In Photoshop CS 6, I noticed that some of the filters I use (Mostly The Cut Out Filter in the Artistic Folder) is not on the filter dropdown list anymore like it has been on other versions of Photoshop. I have to go to FILTER GALLERY Then I go to ARTISTIC then I can see the Cut Out Filter.
Is there any way I can make the Artistic Folder, or any other Filter Folder in the Filter Gallery a part of the Filter dop down list? This would be be a little faster and save me a few clicks with the mouse.
Question # 2. I have an EPSON 3490 Scanner and I scanned a document into PS 6 and it asks me to save it in a folder before I can open it up in Photoshop. Can I just Scan it in, and then decide where I want to save it? This was always the way in every other version of Photoshop. I really do not want to have 2 versions of the same picture on my computer.
Question # 3 Why does it always save as a .jpeg when I scan using Photoshop? I would like to always save it as a .psd as it scans in to Photoshop.

Oct 29, 2013When I go to open photos - they are opening in blue-green-purple colors as if a filter is being applied. The color pallette is also appearing with the same blue-purple colors. In the layers pallette - the icon of the image appears in the normal colors and no filters, etc. have been applied. It's all starting from when selecting the photo to be opened in photoshop.
