View 6 RepliesI'm trying to locate the drop down menu for the adjustment brush, not the panel but the acutal menu that also has some Adobe developed presets (like soften skin and whiten teeth for example).
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just downloaded a trial version of Lightroom 5. I want to change the white balance (temp and tint) using local adjustment brush but when I take a new brush, all I can change is
1. Exposure
2. Brightness
3. Contrast
4. Saturation
5. Clarity
6. Sharpness
7. Color
The Temp and Tint buttons that should appear on the top of this tool are not present. As shown below....
Similarly, as per some youtube videos, in the Basic tools, I should get
1. Highlights
2. Shadows
3. Whites
4. Blacks
Instead I get
1. Recovery
2. Fill light
3. Blacks
As shown below.
Why is there such differences in the option? Is this because it is a trial version?
I'm still bouncing back and forth from 2008 LDD and 2010 3D.
I can't seem to find inquiry station offset objects or something like inverse to line.
Do have to create alignments for these simple calculations.
I want to know the correct way to find the offset origin of a layout in an AutoCAD drawing. Let say I have a drawing that has many items on it. And I create a layout showing just the items in the lower right corner of the drawing. I want to know the offset origin of this layout relative to the Model space.
I came across some LISP commands that are supposed to do just that:
(vl-load-com)(setq activelayout (vlax-get (vla-Get-ActiveDocument (vlax-Get-Acad-Object)) 'ActiveLayout ))(setq activeplotorig (vlax-get activelayout 'PlotOrigin))
Unfortunately, the commands don't seem to work because it always returns (0.0 0.0). That cannot be right.
In PS CS5 when Adjustments panel is selected un the Windows dropdown menu next to the adjustments panel tab there is a Masks tab. This is not the case with PS CS6 Beta. Why is this the case? Has Adobe excluded the Masks tab? I could not find the Masks tab under the Windows drop down menu?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to create a station-offset label style that will drop the trailing zeros in the offset section - e.g. 15' instead of 15.00', but if the offset is not at a whole number, e.g. 15.01, etc. it will display the entire offset.
I created two expressions: IF(OFFSET-TRUNC(OFFSET)=0,.1/12,.00000001/12)
and this one: IF(OFFSET-TRUNC(OFFSET)!=0,.1/12,.00000001/12)
I then created two offset components, one called truncated, and one called full, and assigned the heights to match the expressions.
I have attached the file, the style is ACHD-Sta Off-Rt [copy]

I am using MAYA 2012 on Windows 7. When I import audio (.WAV) it works fine, but if I offset it to a later frame the waveform moves to the right frame but when scrubbing the audio stays at 0. Making if very difficult to lip-sync. I have tried re-caching, playing the scene all the way through and all other options I have seen online.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI need a pit configuration, and I use the offset command to offset a base polyline to first 10 m and then 3 and so on.. is there a way to do this in an automatically way, that you can choose the lenght of the offset for each "offset" (i.e. 1st 10 m, 2nd 3, 3rd 10 m, 4th 3 m, and so on. I am actually using civil 3D.
View 2 Replies View RelatedJust recently, any prints I try to make on paper larger than 8.5 x 11 is offset, small or both using my epson 3880. Up until about 2 months ago it was fine. Also, the colors appear somewhat muted on the larger prints. Plus, I am still having a problem with prints being too dark but that is minor to the skewed printing. I still have LR 2 & 3 installed and tried using these programs with the same results.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've narrowed a problem down to LR 4.2 RC's geotagging: once I tag an image with gps values via the map module in LR I compress/optimise with a tool called Riot [URL] .... but this is reporting the following error with any gps-touched files from LR:
JPEG error: Exif: Suspicious offset of first IFD value
No files have this unless LR tries to gps-tag them. After that happens, my blu-ray player spends 10-15 seconds loading these images to display on a tv, yet if LR hasn't touched them they appears almost instantly. Clearly LR 4.2 RC is doing something to the files (corrupting?)
I'm using a Nikon D80 shooting jpegs.
When I use the Adjustment brush it turns the brush line red.... even is I change the exposure, tint, saturation, color...it is always red
View 1 Replies View RelatedIn Using the adjustment brush with exposure mode active I get a light red/pink color over the area the brush is used, this is not the mask that shows up when the curser is put over the pin. I also can not not make real time adjustment but when I click the adjustment brush to turn it off I can see the changes I tried to make.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to use the adjustment brush by selecting the brush, the sliders shown for the brush change the complete photograph, which I do not want it to do. When I use the brush it makes changes. But, if I make a slider change that I want for the brush it actually changes the complete photograph. It has worked properly in the past. I was able to make a slider change and it would only make changes to the area the brush selected.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIn Develop, when preparing to use the Adjustment Brush, first I adjust the size of the brush. I slide my cursor along the Size slider and the displayed adjacent "sample brush" varies in size. Next, I move the cursor into the field of the image. When the cursor crosses over into the image field, the circle indicating brush size changes; it gets larger by roughly 25%. I have been using the adjustment brush now for what seems like 2 or 3 years, but I can't recall it changing size before. Is this normal? 2 screenshots: a) the cursor(sadly not reproduced in the screenshots) hovers at the slider; b) The cursor is moved to the image field, and the Adjustment brush circle has increased in size.
Mac OS 10.7.4(current), Macbook Pro w/ NEC external mon., 2.8GHz, 8GB ram on 2 cores, Catalog on internal HDD, Library on external HDD, LR 4.1, Nikon raw files.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an Eizo external monitor connected to my MBP and use the external for editing. I have been doing so for a couple years now and with all versions of Lightroom (even 4.2). I have always been able to see the changes/edits real-time on the external monitors when adjusting something with one of the LR sliders. Ever since I installed the latest LR update (4.3)- I don't see changes realtime. I have to wait until I let go of the mouse/slider to see the changes/adjustments.
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust a few months ago I changed from a PC to an iMac, and am running Photoshop CC for photographers including Lightroom.I am still able to use the Command/Z (formally Alt/Z on the PC if memory serves) shortcut to un-do the most recent adjustment, even though that shortcut is not listed among the shortcuts in the Help page. However, I am unable to use the corresponding Command/Y to re-do the adjustment. Is it a secret or just not available in CC and/or a Mac? I used to use these often to check out recent adjustments and I'd like to have it back.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using LR 4.2 and I have a question about the non-destructive editor, specifically the use of adjustment brushes. After I work with an adjustment brush and then go on with my editing I can't figure out how to make tweaks to what was darn earlier on the adjustment brush area. With all the other editing functions I can change something and then later make a change. For example, I can set -10 highlights and then later I can change it to -15 highlights and then later change it to something else. With things I have done with adjustment brushes though I haven't figured out the technique to do that. If I select adjustment brush and then click on the area that I had earlier changed with an adjustment brush it doesn't seem to reselect that area so that I can tweak it. Is there a way to go back and tweak areas selected with an adjustment brush?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWith Adobe tech support, I consolidated my LR 2.7 catalog with LR 5 catalog. But when I opened up the older photos in LR5, I had only the L2 2.7 Adjustments available.
Do I need to reimport the older photos? I thought that an yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it would show up to update. Is 2.7 too far a leap to LR5?
The first panel in LR5 (Develop Mode) has disappeared! This has Temp, Exposure then Highlites, Shadows and vibrancy, clarity etc? How do I get it back??
