when i export the pictures alone, they are fine, but when exported in a slideshow they look dull and faded. The black appears about 70% gray (just guessing) and the colors lack any vibrance. Repeat: i have no trouble with the pictures when i export them individually. The preview looks beautiful: black black and snappy colors.
i am not seeing any options on export except as pdf or video, and i've tried changing the resolution to the highest to no avail.
it's embarrassing, because i gave them as gifts to my neighbor's family. They were shots of their mother's beautiful flower-garden on the day she passed.
I need to create several versions of a slide show with captions in different languages. I placed all pictures for this slide show in different collections, hoping that changes to the captions are effective only in the collection where they were applied. That is not the case. A change applied to one caption is carried to all copies of that images in the catalog.

I made my slideshow and exported in one fo the formats that said it was optimized for web publishing and Facebook. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a timing problem when exporting slideshows to video, they just drift out of sync. Using 'fit to music' the preview syncs perfectly but the pictures overrun by about 4% when exported to an MP4 file. I can correct this by clipping the show and dissolve times manually but that means doing the maths and rendering it out (several times) to get it perfect.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to stop the PDF slideshow exports from LR from automatically advancing? I want it to remain on the slides until I hit the cursor button (like I can do from within LR.) My pdf slideshows, however, keep auto-advancing. I can get it to advance FASTER in either direction by hitting the cursor buttons, but I can't "stop" it from auto-advancing completely, which is what I want.
The LR slideshow export page says that "Adobe Acrobat transitions use a fixed speed," but I thought that this meant that you couldn't change the speed of the transition itself. Can you also not change the "rate of advancing" to the next slide?
I have been using Slideshow Pro to export slideshows for the web from Lightroom but these cannot be viewed on apple devices. Are there any slide show plugins that can be publish for apple devices?

View 3 Replies View Relatedwhen I mix 720p and 1080p videos in a slideshow the "zoom to fil frame" option does not behave as expected. The videos occupy different areas of the screen while presenting. 1080p fills the whole screen, 720p videos only a part of the screen. So no filling at all. Bug or feature?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am new to LR 3 , after downloading photo's from 3 CF cards from a wedding then editing I put chosen best shots into a smart collection and all seemed in order numbers wise etc, when I burnt to a disc they are now not in order of the days event, how can I make sure they are of the following : -
1 - All the same size photo's ready to be printed or put in an album.
2 - How can I make sure the order in which I see them in the library smart collection is burnt in the same order onto a disc, as I have burnt from library and they are all out of order of the wedding event when looked at on the disc !!
Each time I import a batch of RAF files, they import ok into the library, but then one by one they each 'burn out' exposure-wise'
Have I set a preference that would do this on import?

View 2 Replies View RelatedLook at the screen shot of the "Create slide show" below: If I take pictues in 16:9 format in order to use the full capacity of my PC or TV sceen, the working area in Elements does not give me the chance to do do that! The area is always 4:3 format, thus giving me black stripes om top and botton of the picture.

As with many of my previous projects, all of which were much shorter, it is plagued by freezing. also the slides tend to corrupt. they may black out and even to black out only on playback with no indication that they're blacked out. finally, navigation is extremely slow.
I disabled anyone the analysis function, but this didn't work. I'm thinking about getting pse 12, but how do i know if this problem has been corrected.
I purchased Photoshop Elements 11 so I can create a DVD of my slide shows. When I loaded 11, all of my tags and slide shows are gone from my previous version 9. I have an urgent project due this weekend.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm using VSP X4 to make some short slideshows to be embedded in websites. I have been successful in creating them and converting into a WMV movie for broadband, 320 x 240 for fast loading on the website page.
All works well in terms of the slideshow presenting on the site page, but no matter how I size the container, or change the object code when converting, the slideshow always has a black bar at the top and the bottom of the slideshow. I've changed aspect ratios with no success in removing these black bars. I use CSS to create the container for the slideshow, and the container is coded for a white background, yet, the slideshow continues to have these black bars at the top and bottom. how I can remove these, assuming it's VSP4 that's creating them?
We aren't able to download from I-tunes into slideshows, (PS Elements 12). Says we need another codex to compress/ decompress. We've tried several players. What steps do we take to make this happen?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen creating slideshows in Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.0 I do not get any audio/music in the .pdf file.
I can get audio in preview and if I create a .wmv file but not in the .pdf file.
I have tried to add the document as a trusted document in the preferences.
I have tried with Adobe reader 7.0, 9 and X. Nothing works.
Note: My music is longer than the slideshow since I would like music during the whole slideshow. It is one music file. I run on a PC, Windows XP, service pack 3.
What is the optimum resolution & picture size for creating slideshows in elements 9?
