View 1 Replies View RelatedI need to shoot in tethered capture mode and have found that my D90 in not fully supported in this mode. A D7000 is fully supported, but will cost somewhat more than I had hoped to spend. The new D3200 would be an excellent match for our needs (dental photography). My question: Do this camera is supported in tethered capture and if not, does Adobe plan on adding it as a compatible camera anytime soon?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI posted this questions previously and the answer was to update to 5.3, do a clean format and try again. I did all of those things and RAW files will STILL not import into LR. I've left it for up to 45 minutes with nothing but a spinning wheel and the "importing files" on the screen.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got a new camera this week - a Nikon D610. I have Adobe Lightroom 5 and have processed my RAW files from my last camera with no problem. However, when I went to import my files just now, it tells me it is not supported. I checked for updates, it said no updates are available (it is version 5.3). I checked to see if D610 is supported and it is.

I just returned from a trip using my new Nikon D610 and I cannot open any of the Raw files in LR or CS6. Lightroom pops a message stating, "the file is not recognized by the raw format in Lightroom. View 7 Replies View RelatedGot the new Nikon D610 and was forced to purchase lightroom 5 to read my RAW files. (although 4 was just fine besides this file issue) Then i discover that 5 does not support this raw file type yet, so i download 5.3. Program seems to be working fine, not unusually slow, but the import speed for the files is excessivly slow. Im clocking it at around 1 minute per photo based on 24 minutes for 26 photos. This problem is not with the larger file size from the new camera. I tried importing some RAW files from a D7000 and the time was only slightly faster. This problem is with Lightroom 5.3 importing.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a Canon S100 and just started importing photos and video into my LR 4.3 catalog. I convert RAW to DNG, and the Capture Time on the photos in LR is correct. However, the video Capture Time is shifted forward exactly 8 hours. I know how to correct the video Capture Time, but is there anything I can do to stop this from happening in the first place? I looked at what the metadata looks like in Bridge.
PHOTO:
Date Created = Correct Capture Time
Date File Modified = The time I imported the file into LR.
VIDEO:
Date Created = Capture Time + 8 hours
Date File Modified = Correct Capture Time
Why does the capture date in the metadata panel not match the capture date seen in the grid extra view and how do I fix it? The images that I have in my library are digitized negatives and I've corrected the capture dates and times to be accurate; however, the capture date and in the metadata window shows what I've changed it to and the date in both the grid extra view and the Metadata>Edit Capture Time... options both reflect the date the image was last modified. Not all of the images in my library are this way and some show the correct information. When sorted by Capture Time, all images fall exactly where they should in the proper order (based on the changed, corrected edit time and not the modified date). I saved metadata to the file with the new date but it didn't fix it.
View 8 Replies View RelatedHave just downloaded LR4 to C drive on windows 7 home premium, all photos and folders are there but, folders in library are shown as being in Y drive which was on a computer I have recently replaced, so when I put them into develop it says " missing folder, path does not exist" The images are on external F drive, Also I thought that LR4 would merge with existing LR2 so now I have two LR programs on my C drive, is this how it should be ?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just switched from PC to MAC and have troubles using the PC catalogues, or better: associating the images.
I copied the catalogue as well as the images to the MAC harddisk. When I open the catalogue I see the images, but they cannot be found on the disk. So I search on the harddisk for the new path but after finding it I get an error message "Die Datei "xxx.CR2" ist mit einem anderen Foto im Katalog verbunden." In English something like "The file "xxx.CR2" is associated/connected with a different photo in the catalogue."
With previous versions of Lightroom (pre v4.x), when I would plug in a memory card with photos LR would automatically switch to the import screen. This seemed to stop at v4. I can't seem to find a way to make that happen automatically under v4. how to make LR automatically switch to the import screen when a memory card is connected?
View 10 Replies View RelatedThis may be related to other imported catalog bugs, but does not seem to be quite the same. In Lightroom 4, with an upgraded Lightroom 3 catalog:
1. Select a photo in Library mode.
2. Click on Develop to go to Develop mode
Screen shows "No photo selected". I cannot edit photos in Develop mode.
I can see and edit photos that are found in smart collections, but not photos that are simply in my collections from 2012, 2011, etc. folders
I wanted to use the capture screen feature but when I go to file-import-screen capture - the setup and capture features are grayed out and I can't get to set up. What can I do.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI had wrong year setting om my camera. Now all shots are 2010 and not in 2012. I tried to change them including check the write settings into raw-files.
The creation date are still 2010 and wrong, when I look at files in the finder.
second: how to move the pictures from the wrong 2010 folder to the 2012?
When I attempt to set a specific capture time, it behaves just like LR4.x but NOTHING CHANGES after hitting "Change".
The progress bar at the upper left of the screen appears briefly as though the changes are being made, but when going back to edit, again the capture time remains unchanged.
If not supported for LR3, would it be available for LR4?Right now, I am using Aperture for all of my tethered capture, then importing to LR3.
