I am using Lightroom 4.3 and an Epson Photo Stylus 2200 printer.
In the "Print" Module, I cannot set the bottom border to less than 0.56 inches, in either the 11x14 or 13x19 printer layouts.
Is there any way to specify a Photo Border in inches rather than points? Or should I simply divide by 72 to convert points to the inches?
Also, when I have Cut Lines selected, this selected area in red between the two images shows up in the print.
Per the attached exhibit, how to get the plot border to cover the entire sheet border instead of just the bottom left corner.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOut of nowhere my AutoCAD commands such as line, offset, circle, etc will only work if i type in the amount in inches. I use feet / inches when i use these commands. It says specify second point... Not sure what this means. For example I want to offset a line 15'-8". It won't let me do that. If i offset a line at 146" it lets me do it.

I arranged them to read bottom to top, as it goes up stationing, as we do with cross section sheets, but have been told by an outside reviewer that the sheets are confusing and should read top down.
How would you arrange them?
I've added titles to my photos which show up in a slideshow. However, when I email these same photos, the recepient cannot see the titles on the bottom of each photo. How can I correct this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a number of older pictures in my library that don't have Capture Date in the metadata. Windows Explorer Propoerties typically shows info like this, for these files:
Created: Tues, Mar 11, 2009 <time>
Modified: Wed, June 12, 2002 <time>
Accessed: Thu, Sept, 13, 2006 < time>
In my experience, PSE assumes the "Modified" date as capture date with files like this. (A good assumption, for these pics Im looking at now.)
From what I can tell, LR also uses the "modified" date when sorting these pictures' thumbnails. And when I do Metadata > Edit Capture Date, it shows the Modified date as the Original (all good so far).
BUT, in Grid View of the Library module, I have View Options set to show capture date in the Bottom Labal, and here it shows the "Created" date. (So it like 2009 pictures are getting placed next to 2002 pics, in what's supposed to be a chronoligical sort.)
I have a drawing that has a white background.
I would like to add more to the white background to make it bigger without having to stretch it and distort the image.
I want to place a circle shaped outline border around the original image with a set border thickness and color and be able to crop/remove the portion of the image beyond the outline, changing it from a square/rectangle image to a circular image.
If I am not able to change the drawing to have a round outer border from square, how can I make the outer parts past the newly created circular outline transparent?
I'm currently using Lightroom 4.3 (although don't mind upgrading to 5.0 if needed).
I'm trying to find a way to add a border + watermark around an image upon export. A bit of background: I shoot music concerts and have a series of 20-30 images per show that I need this done, some are landscape some are portrait orientation. And keeping the correct photo order is important as I need to show the concert as it happened. I know it can be done in Photoshop via actions, but I'm really trying to move away from PS and do everything in Lightroom.
Pictures speak louder than words, so here is the before (without border or watermark) and the after (same photo, nothing lost, with white border around and the photographer name on the bottom right).

At times in Lightroom 4, for no apparent reason, the images are surrounded by a thick, grey border. If I crop the image, the new image does not exoand to fill the space, but rather the image stays small, and more grey appears to take up the space. How do I make the grey go away>

The RGB values of the Border color added in the Lightroom 5.3 Print Module does match the RGB values of a selected spot on the image as seen in the Develop Module. How can one get a correct color from the image itself to become the Print Module Border color? Why do these not match? How can a matching result be obtained other than the very imprecise appoach of visually trying to match the color?
