Jun 10, 2011I am trying to insert a picture of an individual behind a fence standing in front of a house. Is it possible to do this with Gimp? I have uploaded the two pictures. I want to put the handyman behind the white picket fence, walking up the driveway. Is that possible? I just downloaded a sample of this from Bigstock. Feb 3, 2006I've been using photoshop for a while with no problems, but last night I tried and failed to cut a picture of me (snowboarding down a small slope) from photo 1, and paste this into another photo 2 (a picture of a pro jumping through the air).
After removing the professional snowboarder from the photo, using the clone tool, I pasted my picture onto the photo. Thereby making myself look like a pro. (long story about me and a competetive friend).
Alas I was massive compared to photo 2. I was bigger than the ski-slope itself. I tried to shrink myself, but my picture changed resolution, my photo wasn't cut properly, and so many other problems.
I looked through the helpfiles and found stuff about layers, but nothing about cropping, pasting, resizing.
AutoCad 2D :: Automatically Insert Arc Like The Picture?
Nov 9, 2012automatically insert the arc like the picture? Is there a setting somewhere that will do this? Right now when we have a location that cannot accomodate the text we are drawing an arc and grip moving the dim text to the new location. I am trying to find a more automated way to handle these types of situations.

Everytime I need to insert some illustrations, I just click the mouse on the current drawing, I want the illustration inserted. These means the following points:
(1) Import the blocks to the current drawing, if the blocks have already been imported, then do nothing.

Aug 2, 2013I am trying to insert OS Tiles into a drawing using the insert x-ref command. I have managed to insert 192 tiles but still need to add 29 more tiles to complete. When I try to insert another x reference AutoCAD just goes into a continual loop. Have to force AutoCAD to crash after ten minutes.
I am using AutoCAD 2014 MAP and have just had a new system built (i5 processor, 8GB RAM).

Mar 15, 2012I used to use MediaStudio Pro to create picture in picture especially where the picture starts small and grows to cover the entire background video clip.
I looked for and found a video filter which I thought would allow me to do the same. However after viewing the 'help' for the filter and trying just about everything I could think of I cannot achieve what I want to do if start with a video clip and then have another video clip appear (very small) in one area of the background video and then slowly grow larger to eventually cover the background video clip.
I can make the picture in picture appear and grow larger but it covers the entire background video clip with black effectively covering it no matter what size my picture in picture is. I looked for a chroma key to cover the black out but could not find it.

Dec 5, 2011I am wanting to display previews (pngs) of the ai files in the plugin that match search criteria on a button. As the user scrolls through the results, change the button picture to be the png for that ai file. I tested it with a default image in case the image doesn't exist. The test image is cropped to the size of the button.
The pngs are necessarily 600x600 pix. (For other applications). I want to resize them for display on the button.
(The button is only 100x100).
Do I need to use Image/Drawer suites?
