Is there any way to edit the Edge Animation once you have pressed "publish", To make any changes I have been deleting all the files and starting again with a fresh .html since making changes to the original file and hitting "publish" again seem to have no affect.

I made sure to turn the buttons on only in the areas that they are needed. Once I play the movie, it works fine, but when I select my navigation to go to another page the video is still playing in the background.

(also i can only press on the "save" button doesnt give me the option to publish.. do you have to save it somewhere special? View 3 Replies View Relatedso user error is not unlikely, but I have a small animation with 11 small circles that animate opacity and Y pos. The circles are all symbols and are being controlled (play/stop) from the main timeline. When I preview, half of them do not show up. The symbols that don't appear are consistent from preview to preview. I've looked at the Elements in the browser and they are there, they just aren't animating.
So I thought I would just recreate the "bad" symbols and their animations, but they are still not animating in my preview. When I play the timeline in Edge Animate evrything is fine.
I've tried it in Chrome, Safari and Firefox (all latest releases) with the same result.
Is there a symbol bug in Edge? Is there a method of creating symbols that I should be using (other than draw, cmd-Y and edit symbol timeline)?
My timeline looks just fine, and when I was originally working with the file, the publish went well. Now, the preview/publish are shifting elements causing a mess of a presentation and I cannot figure out why.

uick response as I have to present this work tomorrow. I have been working with the "preview in browser" to view an animation which is a simple matrix of drag and drop. It works perfectly in the preview, but when I publish it either to .oam (bringing it into muse) or directly to html it loses all of its functionality. I am pretty new to this, but I have been using the same methodology for all my other animations and they work fine.

I created this website for a client and it can be viewed at Uscantravel.com. However being in the SEO phase of the site, the publish for Static HTML to make the website search friendly turns off the animated pop-ups and links that are layered within symbols with additional animations. It works fine when I save the .html file and upload that, but the published file for static alters the website animations when uploaded.
Can I somehow use the copy and paste the Div tags into the workable .html file to make search friendly, or am I missing something?

I have an animation currently that sits in a circular window and plays when the page loads. The screen shot below is from the page in Muse with the .oam file playing. The images are PNGs with transparent backgrounds so the animation plays over the background images.
What I'm trying to add is an iris effect I've animated in Edge Animate. I haven't been able to hide the edges of the vanes in the iris during animation. I've tried to cut and paste code that I've found on this forum and others but I don't know much about coding and I haven't had any success. I just made my first edge animate project and made a progress loader animation. Works well.When i placed the code in the site the animation was always on, so i've hidden the item in css

i created an animation for my index page of an already existing website. i tried to "publish settings" but app would not allow me to publish to my directory however it did allow me to "publish". when i uploaded the files to my server, only the splash image came up but the rest of the animation did not run. what am i doing wrong?
