I have an animation for a banner on a web page that is set to 100% width and 350px high. When i publish my animation the height in the browser is 316px high? I've attached a couple of images to show my issue..How do I make sure my animation is fixed to 350pixel high?
View 1 RepliesI created a simple banner with a couple of basic animations. I never even touched any code. Only basic images are used, no triggers, no symbols.If I preview within Animate, everything works fine.
As soon as I hit ctrl+enter to preview in my browser, everything just stays blank. I checked in multiple browsers, all have the same result with no errors in console.Autoplay is turned on.
I had a animation built in animate and i would preview from start to finish in web browser and now it doesnt play at all?
Im not sure what I did to break it. But I have old and new test files that work just fine.
What I want to do is insert this link into a blog post (that's not a problem), but I want it to open in a new window AND I want that window to be of a custom size (the size of the stage of my annimation). The best way I can describe this, would be like a pop-up window.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a task to control sym timeline with a browser scrolled. If my animation "enclosed" and I use "overflow: scroll" it works - the Stage.scroll works. But I need to to have my animation not enclosed and with overflow:hidden, this means that my Stage don't have own scrolled bar and my browser scroller is not trigger this action.
I think that usage of JS API can solve my task - window.onScroll starts the calculation function and move results "inside" my animation as sym.stop(xx).
Im trying to build a long scrolling page and i need more than a 10000 px stage but edge only allows me a 10000px max height. How can i create a longer page and are their performance issues with a stage that size?

How to make the stage to increase height
Clicking on any of the 26 letters of the alphabet, I display the 15 logos starting with the first brand whose initial is the clicked letter.
Logos have different dimensions, but I fail recovering them, so that they are displayed stretched or squeezed, retaining the width and height of the first 15 logos put on stage in the Edge source.
Both of the two console.log in the following code produce w= 0 h = 0 :
- just after assigning the src attribute ;
- in the callback function of the load.

when i try to preview in browser , it loads like 2 seconds then nothing more happens.
I have a upcoming project where the client would like to have a diagram of a river where it's width, height and angle can be adjusted by the end user. Is this possible because he'd like it to also run on a mobile device. And would this be easier as a 2d or 3d diagram?
Here's an example of what I mean changing the angle, ie it makes the river have a steeper incline, thus the rate of water flows faster.
My Stage is set to 100% w/h. I'd like to center a div, and have it scale based on a percentage of the Stage's size. The div contains animated text and images.
I've seen some similar examples but the Stage always seems to be set to pixels.

in the header but it doesn't work for me. the loader is loading on the left of the browser window (full screen width is 1920) while the stage is loading in the center of the browser window. My stage size is 800x600. I tried including that in the css above but that didn't work either.
i'm working on a site that i'd like to automatically scale to fit the browser window, without any scrolling and while preserving its aspect ratio.
my client is very particular about the design & does not want the width & height of the images & text to change like they do in a responsive site- he just wants the site to scale to fit in a browser window.
uick response as I have to present this work tomorrow. I have been working with the "preview in browser" to view an animation which is a simple matrix of drag and drop. It works perfectly in the preview, but when I publish it either to .oam (bringing it into muse) or directly to html it loses all of its functionality. I am pretty new to this, but I have been using the same methodology for all my other animations and they work fine.

I'm working on a project with drag and drop and im using jqeuryui for that.but i want the user to be able to drag a photo to the page and that it apears on the page in the browser ( no fancy upload but just client data)and also a button to "upload it" but just also using data ( i dont want to use node.js or any database for this project.)

I have an animation currently that sits in a circular window and plays when the page loads. The screen shot below is from the page in Muse with the .oam file playing. The images are PNGs with transparent backgrounds so the animation plays over the background images.
What I'm trying to add is an iris effect I've animated in Edge Animate. I haven't been able to hide the edges of the vanes in the iris during animation. I've tried to cut and paste code that I've found on this forum and others but I don't know much about coding and I haven't had any success. This screenshot is shortly after the animation starts to play as the vanes rotate out of the window:
Basically, I need to mask the iris animation to keep the images from showing outside the circular frame. I've found that the clipping tool in Edge only does square or rectangular masks. I have a PNG that I can use as a mask but the coding has really got me flummoxed. The mask:
I just made my first edge animate project and made a progress loader animation. Works well.When i placed the code in the site the animation was always on, so i've hidden the item in css

When my animation is needed i'm making is visible however the animation has already been started in the background so wont begin the right place. I'm wondering should i stop the stage autoplay in the config and then start the animation in JS? If so how can i go about starting the animation via JS.

My problem is, that wix.com has got no folder-organisation or upload-function and my Edge animation has *.html, *jscript and *.jpeg/*.png files.

i created an animation for my index page of an already existing website. i tried to "publish settings" but app would not allow me to publish to my directory however it did allow me to "publish". when i uploaded the files to my server, only the splash image came up but the rest of the animation did not run. what am i doing wrong?
