CorelDRAW X6 :: Macro To Select All Text And Changing Font
Mar 5, 2013
I would like to have a macro to select all the text in a document (independently if it is in a group or ungrouped), and change its font to another one.
I have tried to record a macro by myself, but appear a text that says that these functions could not be recorded.
I want to select my text and change the size from my macro. As of now if i preselect the size it outputs the size once i type the text in box and add to page, but i cannot change the size by selecting the text. Im building this off of my output settings.
Sub ChangeSize ()Dim OriginalSelection as S, text as StringDim txtShape as ShapeOn Error Resume NextOriginalSelection = (ComboFontSize.text, "pt", "")size = CInt(text)Set textShape = ActiveLayer.CreateArtisticText(ActiveLayer.Page.CenterX, 8, FontText.text, cdrLanguageNone, cdrCharSetMixed, Me.lstFonts.text, size) End Sub
is there any solution to change a special character font in paragraph.
I'm formatting a book in corel and want to change all the question marks (?) in a different font while retaining other characters in same fonts. Is there any possibility in corel? I've searched on internet but there is nothing useful.
need a macro code that will select all objects that I've named "X" then delete them. Tried recording but it only works for the one object and not all of the same name
What I am trying to do is check if a shape does not match a known set of values. If it does not it will run code where the "If msgbox" is at. What I have works if my line or object has a Cyan outline. The issue I am having is when it is checking a line that is any other color that doesn't have Cyan = 100, it errors out.
Below is what I am trying to use.
Sub Start() Dim s As Shape Dim sr As ShapeRange ' ActivePage.Shapes.All.CreateSelection Set sr = ActiveSelectionRange For Each s In sr If s.Type = cdrTextShape Then GoTo s_A If s.Outline.Color.CMYKCyan = 100 Then GoTo s_A If MsgBox("dude", vbOKCancel) = vbCancel Then GoTo s_B s_A: Next ss_B:End Sub
Do you have a macro or Diesel command that would select all text or dimensions in a drawing and delete it automatically. I've seen an LISP command, but I know from a fact that it does not work on LT. By the way, I'm using Autocad LT 2014.
How to make a macro that changes the font for a specific Text Style. The name of the Text Style is eg. "3mm", which I want to change from RomanS to Verdana.
I think I need to change the cdrTextPropertyFill using cdrTextPropertySet. If you look at the Property Manager Window with Artistic Text selected go to the 5th tab (format). On the bottom is background color: with two drp downs. One for textbox background and one for character background.
I would like to be able to change these settings in a macro. I think this line is finding the text on the graphic, now I need to change the background.
Very difficult to change a font in Photoshop CS6: I select the font then go to the dropdown (either the side panel or the options panel at top; same results) and BEGIN TO scroll down to find the font I want to change to. After a couple seconds, the list pops back up to the top. Usually I cannot scroll past the fonts beginning with M or N before it overrides my scrolling and pops back to the top again, If I can select quickly, I can sometimes nab a different font that starts with a B or C, but hardly ever one I am seeking.
We need a macro that will allow you to select a certain color fill inside document and change all to no fill hairlines. It needs to be capable of doing it several times within the same document. Does anything like this exist out there?
We have color replacer. We want it to do this automactically with a static group of colors everytime without any manual maniplulation required.
we just upgraded from X5 to X6, and I was just wondering if there is a way to preview artwork, in the preview pane, using X6, and I am referring to .cdr files not .eps.
Also how do you go about changing the default font when starting a new document?
In PSP 8, if I have many text entries within a single vector layer, all with same font size and type, is there a way to change the font size for all of them at once?
I am trying to produce a slideshow in LR3 of a series of travel shots. Problem is that I want to insert a nice caption to each individual shot showing the place, country etc etc.
It seems the only way to do this is to enter the caption initially in the Metadata in the Library module and then select " Captions " in the Custom text box in the Slideshow module.
My problem is that I hate the clunky big white text that shows on the slideshow. I cannot seem to find anywhere where I can change this to a nicer text font, style and colour. You can change the style text in the text overlay panel but that then applies to the whole slideshow. I need a nice individual caption for each shot.
Here's a macro I've used for quite some time. Feel free to use or modify as needed. Install, select text and run. Hold shift and the selected text will round/curve more.
Why I created? I do a lot of graphics that need the top line of text to be curved. I can easily select the top line and press a button and the macro curves it upwards. If I need more curve I hold shift and run. If I need more or less curve still, I make the item in question, the text, larger or smaller. All done by eye and it's fast.

I'm using corel draw X5, I can't move object if I select "Traditional CorelDRAW" option for ctrl/shift keys, under Pick Tool menu in options window.
If I choose "Windows Standard", I'll be able to move the objects. But I don't like this behavior, because the way it draws new objects, anchoring them in center, instead of upper left corner.
This bug started just after I change this option, "just for curiosity". I wish I never discovered it. How can I solve it? I want to set ctrl / shift behavior to "Traditional CorelDraw" AND be able to move objects.
I have attached a free macro to change the text color of cells in a table. Without the macro there is currently no way to select more than one cell and change the text color.
The macro allows the user to either:
click on a table (to select it) and then apply a new color to ALL text in the table; or choose a new color from the macro from, select some cells in a table and then apply that color to the text in those selected cells
Please note in step 2 it is important you choose the new color first and then select the table cells. If you do it the opposite way around, while choosing a colour you will deselect the selected cells and apply color to all of the text in the table.
I am new to CorelDraw and I have got an issue which might be potentially linked with master page / dynamic text or macros. I have got a multipage template with some text repetition on each page. Unfortunately those text have to be in different position and using different fonts. So setting up master page is not really solution, unless it can be done as above.
In the last 2 days Corel has decided to start changing Artistic Text to Paragraph Text when I copy & paste it across documents, completely changing the font, size & colour of what I am copying.
I've just done a factory reset & it's still doing it.
I don't recall doing anything that would change a setting.
The text I am copy & pasting are disclaimers that are all set on 1 document & I copy & paste them to a proof as needed.
I tried Nexus font (finally) and don't see why people have mentioned it. I don't like it and uninstalled it quickly.Which font manager do you think is better than Font Nav?
I have a font I use all the time and have for years (Myriad Pro). When I create a new text object and then select the font from the list the text object disappears and the resize handles goes really small.
While mousing over the font the text appears:
However when I select that font this happens:
The object still appears in the object list not clearly no characters are showing. Nothing shows in Wireframe mode as well.
I've deleted the fonts and installed them again and still occurs. Only on this one font family.
I'm using CorelDraw x6 for a while and I haven't got any issues with it by now. Today I've open one of my files and some of the texts was missing (the one with font "Trajan Pro". First I thought that my file is broken (it wasn't). My second thought was that there is something wrong with the font (if this is possible), I've replace it with still no change.
Every time when I change a text with this font it disappears from the screen. I can see the preview, When I mark it as a text I can still see it. But when I point some where else on the screen it is gone. See the pictures.
I do not know is the problem with Corel Draw, but everything was working just fine by now, and Now I can not use this font any more for some reason.
I am doing a menu for a client and it seems that every time I put a specific font size such as 10pt. in a text frame..it changes to a size 11.3245pt. every time I open the file back up to work on it again.
How do I prevent this? Or is there something I am doing wrong in the text frame?
We are trying to convert some text to a Hindi font a translator sent us. It is installed correctly on PC and shows up in Corel X5. When you convert it, it says it is the correct font in object mangar but appears a row of boxes? The font is Kruti Dev 010.
