Im trying to create a page that looks like a phone. Ive got this so far, although the black border is thicker round the edges and top..But Ive after something like this..I'm after the effect of the border, doesn't have to be as good, maybe just some lighting on one side. Also the button and glare on the screen, albeit a bit slimmer.
View 8 RepliesI am trying to resize a logo so that it looks crisp and sharp on Facebook and on mobile devices, but I'm having trouble. My file is a .png file and is 72 dpi (resized for web and devices in photoshop). It is 400x400 pixels.
I use [URL]... (similar to tweetdeck or hootsuite) to send posts to Facebook and Twitter. The image looks good on screen when I look at facebook, but not when you look at it on a mobile phone.
Along the bottom of the screen we want to add one of the text components - which will have a rectangle background and text saying call now and a phone number - then we want to add an image of a phone but we can't get the phone image in front of the text background - it is hiding behind the bar.... it's a bit like you see on the shopping channels with a phone number at the bottom of the screen - but we also want the image of the phone - how can you change the order of how these tracks are laid on top of each other?

I know it's difficult to improve, however i've noticed that there is a patten to the noise.
I exported an image into a smaller JPG image to be wallpaper of my mobile phone (Nexian G315). But then the image can't be read, the mobile just said "Unsupported format". As I remember,previous version of GIMP I used in Linux (I forget the version) would create supported exported image. But not now, with GIMP 2.8.4 in my PCLinuxOS.

A look around the AD site shows all the apps for the App Store and Google Play but not Windows Phone. I use a bunch of AD apps on my iPad and iPhone that are a "must have" now. A quick Google search brings up a bunch of articles but I haven't seen anything definitive from AD. Does the AD apps (most importantly SketchBook Mobile, Autodesk 360, ForceEffects) are coming out for that platform anytime in the future?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am trying to modify a set of icons for the status bar of my cell phone. I have tried Paint.net (recommended by many themers) but the color never looks right. I can colorize the icons individually but that will take a long time to do all 71 icons. I tried using a macro to run Gimp and repeat the task on a loop but the "Export Image as PNG" dialog box keeps opening under the stack of Gimp windows and messes the macro up.
Is there any way to change the color of multiple .png files as a batch operation?

nothing was imported, the file or folders selected to import did not contain any supported file types or the files are already in this catalog.
the files are jpg and they are not in the catalog.

whenever i edit an image with gimp and try to view it in mobile phone ,it's not displaying. it's really a weird problem ...i have tried editing using other softwares such as krita and photoshop and they display correctly. I have also tried editing using gimp 2.6 and it also works fine .

Can photos in a collection in Lightroom Mobile be custom sequenced? Alternatively can the photo sequence a Lightroom 5.4 collection be preserve when it is synched to Lightroom Moble for iPad?
Custom photo sequenced are required for the slide show feature of Lightroom mobile to be of any use.
I have a hardware/software monitor calibrator to calibrate my desktop PC monitor for Photoshop work. However, when I transfer these photos to my phone, they display with an ugly color tint.
Is there anyway to display photos correctly on a cellphone or tablet that cannot be calibrated? In theory, it should be possible to generate a color profile for the phone/tablet and store the profile on a PC. Then I can convert photos to this color profile in Photoshop before transferring to the phone/tablet.

Using Publisher seems to be the best way to present our ideas to customers all across the world.
But we have run into limitations where the message on our i-pads read "Filetype too large" (or something along those lines).
I have successfuly published and uploaded my files, so whats happening?
Is it a matter of rendering 400,000 or so triangles as a max?
How I can reduce the size and make these files work?

I am using the trial version of Photoshop Elements 12 that I just downloaded and installed. I'm trying to sign into Elements Mobile Albums- I put in my adobe ID and password and click "sign in" but nothing happens- the login spinner runs but no error message comes up and it doesn't log in.
I've setup and added pictures to my Revel account (there are a few hundred now). I can access them fine via the web, iPhone, or Mac app. I have nothing in the Organizer except some system mp3s that it found.
If I put in the wrong password, it gives me an error, so it's not entirely broken. I tried the "trouble signing in" link and reset my password, but no change.I'm running on OSX Mavericks. I've not tried any other platforms.
elements 12. I haven't got an info button alongside my mobile album, just a green cross.
