Feb 18, 2012I have H & S X5. How do I convert a RAW file to Jpeg.
I click open and my RAW file opens in Camera Raw Lab, I make my adjustments and click OK - it then opens in PP but I don't have the option of saving it as a jpeg.
When I asked for the file ext to be associated jpeg shows in the filter but is not available as a 'save as' option. I can do exactly the same in PSE8 and have the jpeg option.

Aug 6, 2012No matter what resolution I save a jpeg at, they all seem to open at 480 dpi. I would like my jpegs to open at their native resolution. I have looked through the options and settings, but can't find the command to change this. (When I go to resample it always displays 480 dpi)

Everything is much more blue and with more contrast. I've worked with the different color models trying to adjust my image to get it more close to the original, but it's not going so well.

Nov 15, 2010I am trying to import some video from a friends Cannon video camera and it records its movies in a .mod format. After I import a clip, if I try to play it to sample which file it is, it causes a problem with corel and it has to shut down. If I pull the video into the timeline it plays just fine. I checked my update and everything is up to date with video studio and it says it handles .mod files, but I do not understand why it is freezing then shutting down the program.

The ones we had made before had a black draping. I was wondering how I could go about using some sort of additive coloring to transform the varying shades of beige to the same varying shades of black.
I have already used the masking tool to separate the background from the rest of the photo.

Sep 26, 2012I've got about 4 hours of work into solving the dreaded "Photoshop: CS6 saves in wrong file format on MacOS when trying to load obsolete plugins" (Aside: I don't suppose I can send Adobe an invoice for billable hours?? Naw, never happen.)
I could still not get CS6 PS to open and "save as" correctly. All of my plug-ins were current and the only linked ones were reinstalled after PS was updated. URL.... I saw multiple mentions of the "Standard Multiple Plugin" as a possible source of the problem. Found this file in /Library/ Application Support/Adobe/Plug-ins. (Mac OS X 10.7.5) Removed the file and PS does what it should: defaults to all file formats on open and allows any format to be selected on "save as."
Get Info identifies this file as an Adobe plugin ver. 12.0.2 created and modified 7/18/11 obviously well before I got CS6. It also shows an Adobe copyright (2003-2010) message so this is NOT a third party plugin, nor is it a bad symlink, nor is it an outdated 3rd party plugin. Since this was placed there by the Adobe install and not modified by the CS6 upgrade, I can only conclude that Adobe wanted it there.What - if anything- will happen without this file in place and if it is necessary where does one obtain a new one?
I did not copy any old plug-ins to the new program nor did I have any bad aliases nor did I have multiple copies of anything.

And by that I don't mean just correcting the tint, I mean converting a regular photo into one that has a single color tint (e.g., yellow, red, etc.). I've tried graying it out and then adding a transparent color layer over it, but I'm not getting the result I'm looking for.
Also, while I'm at it, are there any (current) books out that cover PhotoPAINT in depth? I know that the official DRAW book has a section on it, but it's pretty basic.

I have downloaded and clicked and dragged the frame to my image, but I would like to reuse this frame. Is it possible to add it to the menu? I can download it to the menu - but it is a temporary item in the list of views to the right, which can be replaced from any of the permanent members of the dropdown selection of frames on the left of the Frame menu. I would like a frame to become one of those "permanent frames."

May 16, 2011I am making a background image for a website in Draw. The main part is Black.
I export as a jpg and the image looks fine when I view it.
Then if I open it in photo-paint the black is not black, but rather has a grey color to it. The image is exported fine and looks great when viewing it with the normal windows photo viewer program.
Something is happening when it is opened up in photo paint I think.
