AutoCad :: Get Created In Folder Along With VLX File?
Feb 16, 2012Whenever I open an autocad file, an autolisp file will get created in the folder along with a .vlx file. Why is this so, how can I avoid this?

AutoCAD .NET :: DLL Not Being Created In Bin / Debug Folder
Nov 16, 2012why this stopped working, but when I used to pick the green arrow (Debug) to test my code, it would automatically create the .dll in the Debug folder. For this one program, it has stopped doing that. I have to build the .dll and then use that one (from the Release folder).
I've compared the properties from this program to my other programs, but couldn't find anything that stuck out to me.
what I should look into to correct this issue and have it start saving the .dll in the Debug folder again?
Lightroom :: 5 - Created Sub Folder Isn't Visible

While importing images from camera, created a sub-folder by clicking on parent folder in the import destination panel and selecting create folder from menu. Create the new sub-folder in the pop-up dialog and chose it. The new sub-folder is not shown in the destination panel. The sub-folder is visible in finder and the permissions/ownerships of the folder are the same as the other sub-folders.
If I click on the parent folder and select create folder, the sub folder is displayed in the dialog. If I select it instead of creating another sub-folder, it is still not shown in the destination panel and another sub-folder is selected.
Lightroom :: Import Into New Created Folder?
Nov 27, 2012when i do import pictures into LR 4.2 (Win8 Pro x64, i7 2600K, 16GB), i'm having the following problem:
In import dialog window i can create a new target folder without any problems, i can import the pictures to that folder without any error.
After import process is complete, in the left pane (Folders) the pictures are in the folder i created a step before, but the folder is listed topmost in the "root" directory, not at the right place matching the directory structure - the pictures are physically stored in the correct folder. (So i can't just drag'n drop the folder to it's right place, says it's already there...)
Before this behaviour came up (worked well before), i did two changes to my system:
1. Upgrading W7>W8
2. Splitting System and Data: OS and programs are on SSD, data is on a RAID 1 MatrixRAID
My users-folder is a hard linked directory junction from SSD to MatrixRAID (mklink)
C:UsersUsername -> E:UsersUsername
(mklink /h /j C:UsersUsername E:UsersUsername)
So maybe LR can't deal with that? What can I do so that the imported folder shows up at the right place after import?
Lightroom :: Import Given Folder Are Not Created
Feb 4, 2013if i import some pictures, i wanna created a subfolder to import all the picture there. Until now it has functioned very well. Since a few days, the pictures are imported only on the parent folder and the subfolder didn't get created.
I use the latestet LR 4.3 Version on my MAC 10.8.2.

Nov 29, 2012I found a curious bug in Lightroom 4.2.
If I have pictures taken after 23:00, Lightroom creates an import folder in the next day, but the dates in the files are correct.
Example: The file's date is: 29/11/2012 23:19.
However if I hover my mouse over the image in the import dialog:
The date that appears is 30/11/2012 00:19. Here's the detail:

I've started to notice this before, but always thought of a wrong date on my camera. Just noticed that this happens with my camera, iPhone, and any other photo that has a time after 23:00.
Lightroom :: Cannot Import Into Newly Created Folder Since Upgrade
Nov 27, 2013SInce upgrading from LR4 to LR5 I can no longer create a new folder in the 'destination' section of the import pane and import new images into it.
If I right-click, for example, the desktop in the 'destination' area and select 'create new folder' I can create the folder, but it doesn't then show when I return to LR for the import. I have to have already created to folder outside of LR before the import for it to show as a viable location to import to.
Lightroom :: Wrong Date On Created Folder When Import Photo?
Jun 6, 2013Sometimes (atleast 2 times) when I take photos late, butween about 10-11 PM they are created in a folder with the date for the following day.
Last time this happend was yesterday (2013-06-05). Almost all photos was automaticlly in folder for 2013-06-05 for the import but 10 photos shot between 10.07pm - 10.43pm was put in the folder 2013-06-06.
Im using Lightroom 4.4 Swedish version.
Is it at date/time-proporties in Lightroom which is wrong (not Swedish-time) or what can it be?

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Surface Created From DEM File
Dec 2, 2013How to best smooth a surface created from a DEM file? Contours produced from the surface, particularly in the flatter areas seem to be following the triangles, so you can see the rectangular nature of the grid.
I've attached a screenshot with the contours shown. Up to this point when creating the surface, all I did was add a data clip boundary, then add the DEM file (manually within the surface definition, not using the "create surface from DEM" feature). I had tried some of the options under surface edits & smoothing, natural neighbor interpolation, but the results were still all wonky.
Photoshop :: Exporting 3D OBJ File - No Material File Created
Jan 18, 2013In Photoshop CS6 extended,when exporting 3D file as an .obj (that has a material assigned to it), it does not create the material file - .mtl - only the .obj file is created.

Mar 2, 2012I created a DWF drawing from a PDF file. It was created but not to scale...the dimensions on the drawing says 6' but when i measure it its3'7"1/16.... My question is how do i scale it.. i tried using the scalecommand and referenced the entire drawing to a line a drew that was 6' long....but still it was incorrect?

Aug 13, 2012I work with a national company that creates criteria drawings for new projects. They recently changed to the 2012 version but they save it down to 2007. There has not been an issue with opening files with my 2009 version until recently. All of the computers in our office are unable to open these new files, although they claim nothing has changed. My CAD will pop up a fatal error and shut down whenever I attempt to open the new files. I downloaded the 2013 trial version and saved the file down to the older version, but that does not work either. Newer versions do not seem to be affected by the files, just my 2009 version. I tried creating a new file in 2013 and saved down to 2007 format. When I try to open it 2009 there is no issue. besides purchasing a new version of AutoCAD?

I get a file count from the line "filecount = objFiles.Count", so it's recognizing "objFiles" as the collection of files in the folder, but everything after that simply does nothing. Oddly, I can change the "If" statement from "<>" to "=", and it still reads the "Then" statement in both cases. However, the FileName is blank.

Apr 11, 2008I am new to this. Any help I can get is greatly appreciated. I am working on a PC using Photoshop CS2. I am working with a graphic artist that uses a MAC (Photoshop CS2). When I try to import her files into my Photoshop I get a message that says the layers can not be read and I must make a composite to see the file.
I need to see the layers so I can create menus for a DVD I am making( I am using Encore) Am I getting this message because I am going from a MAC to a PC? How can I get around this?

However what I would like is to check through all files of a certain type (for example ipt with filenames beginning "SSUA" ) in a specific folder.

Jul 1, 2011I have been happily x-reffing for years but recently my x-refs will randomly disappear when I reload them. I have checked the file name seems to be the same the paths match where the file is (on a network drive if that matters.) I defenitely haven't deleted the x-ref on the model space.

VideoStudio :: Playing Blu-ray PC File Created With X5?
Aug 13, 2012I have created 2 Bluray discs with Video Studio X5 using clips from my HS700 Panasonic. The clips are high quality HD 1920x1080 AVCHD and import into VS as .mts files. I have created two discs and menus and burned them successfully and at the same time used the function that enables a file version to be stored. The discs play beautifully with menus working well on my Samsung Bluray player and TV and also in my PC drive E using WIN DVD Pro 11 (trial version).
My problem is when I try to play the VSX5 created file on C drive, with WIN DVD Pro 11, if I select the BDMV file it says "media not supported" and if I select the STREAM file it plays the files in the order that VSX5 created them, therefore playing the file 0000.m2ts first and onward to the last. In this case there were 4 AVCHD 1920x1080 h264 files rendered to video files and onto the disc and PC file with menus, therefore VSX5 created 18 .m2ts files in the stream file, 4 video files numbered 0000,0001,0002, 0003 and 14 menu files 0004, through to 0018, all of these .m2ts.
WinDVD Pro 11 plays the stream file as a Playlist in strict numerical order therefore playing the menu files last and not as a selectable thing.I guess my big questions are.1) Am I doing something incorrectly OR 2) Does WIN DVD Pro 11 ever play a Corel VSX5 created PC file as a menu selectable Bluray file like it does with a disc?I am running Windows 7-64 Professional with two 1TB hard drives, I have tried the files on either hard drive without success in playing as I expect (like a disc).
To go back a bit, I have a library of DVD VS created files and play through the Windows Media Centre, however with the Bluray ones it tells me I need to have a Bluray Player, hence my downloading the trial WINDVD Pro 11. The old DVD files had a TS file which contained the files necessary to play the video with menu, but there does not seem to be an equivalent in the Bluray folder.

Oct 2, 20051. Is there any point in saving a file as a TIF when it was created as a JPG?
2. Should I be taking all my digital photos as RAW then converting them to TIF or some other format?
3. I assume that the only time I need to save a file as a PSD is when it is still a work in progress and not the final image, correct?
4. How do I know what file formats to use and when?
