I develop AutoCAD using .NET, I use the Edit and Continue feature in Visual Studio 2008 while debugging and testing what I wrote. I recently got a new machine and now my Edit and Continue doesn't seem to work anymore.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to create a scene in IV Studio using point lights. If I want to change the position of the light's target, IV won't let me.
The option is simply not available. Not in the dialog (see attached image) an not in the graphics region (clicking the glyph's).
According to the help text, it should be possible (see attached image). The problem persist in both normal lighting styles as in local lights.

A simple windows form command dll to test within the VS2012 + AutoCAD 2012
Bug: when debugging with VS2012, the first command runs fine and I can debug it with breakpoints etc etc. However, after the first debugging session, if I try "File"->"Open" or "New", file dialog will popup and then my AutoCAD 2012 crashs.
It won't happen if I compiled the dll, and load directly from AutoCAD independantly running instance.
I'm looking for the complete instruction set prepare Visual Basic Studio 2010 Express to program Inventor 2012 Professional.
At the moment, all I've done is to install VB Studio Basic 2010. If I'm not mistaken, don't I have to "configure" VB 2010 Express so it can be used with Inventor 2012?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI reinstalled both LR4.2RC and Photoshop CS5 on a new drive. But now I can't seem to edit in Photoshop from LR. Am I doing something wrong? It worked fine before (except for getting the "Render in Lightroom" thing because of the differnece in process versions). Using Windows 7 Prof. Cntrl E no longer works and Edit in Photoshop is grayed out on the drop down menu. Both work independently just fine. A setting in LR perhaps?

I am finding this problem very agravating as i am spending more time restarting project and have to save everytime i make a change. The realistic views have been working the whole time before but now it is not working. I click on it, and it just switches back to shaded view. If I click on shadows, or reflections I get the following message.
"One or more visual effects in use are not supported by the current system graphics hardware. We strongly recommend running the Diagnostics check in applications option for detailed information.Would you like to run hardware Diagnostics now?"
After selecting Yes I get the following,The graphics driver is fully certified.

Since AutoCAD 2013, I'm not able to use tracking when inserting block from tool palette. Example, I want to insert a door at 6 inches from a wall. I click the door from the tool palette, leave a tracking point at the wall corner, move the cursor in the right direction and type 6 follow by enter. The door is insert randomly in the drawing. It was working perfectly in previous release.
Actually I had to insert the door anywhere in the drawing and moving it at the right place and rotate it if required, it is very tedious.
I was creating an .acb (adobe color book) file to access my company's colors from the color picker's color libraries section and everything was going well. It was all working, I've been using it for some time, and then I decided to change the name of my library in the coding.
After that the color libraries stopped working. Not only my color library, but the color library function in Photoshop. Now when I try to access the color libraries section from the color picker, it simply closes the color picker. It doesn't give me any error message. Photoshop doesn't crash or anything, it's only that I can't access the color libraries section.
I tried removing my .acb file from the Adobe Photoshop CS2PresetsColor Books folder, but it didn't solve the problem. The color libraries still won't open.
Anyone knows a solution to this problem. It's kind of urgent since I need that color library file working for a tool I'm developping for my company.
Would there be someplace in Photoshop that I could reset Photoshop's color libraries to start from scratch and go back to my old version of the .acb file that was working perfectly, before I changed it's name?
Right now I'm using Photoshop CS2, I should be switching to Photoshop CS3 soon,
I recently updated to Photoshop CS6.1 (or 13.1) from the Creative Cloud and my shadows stopped working again.The draggable shadows in 3D do not show up at all. If I render my image the shadows appear.
Also If I turn on reflections, they show up just fine, but the shadows are still not there. My computer is an HP with:

today the preset brushes i use a lot aren't working properly.Dodge and soften skin are my main ones i use but they are making NO impact at all on the photos i use them on, im doing nothing different!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet, photoshop CS6 and Windows 7. The pressure sensitivity of my tablet won't work anymore. Roughly, it said to uninstall my wacom driver, unplug the tablet, reboot, install driver, plug in the tablet and reset my preferences in photoshop. I've done this last night and it worked, I was thrilled but it was late, was exhausted,When I turned it back on and went in photoshop this morning it didn't work anymore, pressure sensitivity was gone again. I get this little warning in my brush settings when I try to put it on Pen Pressure or tilt or other setting that requires pressure sensitivity, The only way I can get it to work is with the process I mentioned (uninstalling driver, unplugging tablet, rebooting etc...) but I'd need to do this every time I shut down my computer and that's a bit of a pain..I've also tried installing different drivers, the latest one first, when that didn't work I tried older ones to see if it would make a difference to no avail.

None of the above work [as expected] any more. I think this happened after the 6.3 Update.To replicate the problem:
1. Fire up CorelDRAW
2. Draw a closed shape and fill it with a color of your choice.
3. Open any of the above effects mentioned in the first post.
4. Try moving any of the sliders and see what happens. (Try with both the preview button locked and unlocked.)
I am sure you will notice what I mean. Surprisingly, they all work as usual, once you convert the vector object to a bitmap!

i have some automated virtual folders for uploading to flickr.
in former times, when i changed one of the pictures and pressed "publish", the pictures which were already online have been deleted and uploaded again (replaced).now i have a lot of dublicates on flickr.
I have this heavy issue, i can't send to back a line, an object or a hatch under other lines. In 2012 i used this feature a lot but in 2013 it's not working very much, maybe 1 time out of 10 and i absolutely can't say why.
HPDRAWORDER = 1 seems to work with a new hatch.. but i can't redraw everything.
Let's say i put an entire floor plan into block then draw over it. (I don't want to start a Xref discussion please) i can't send the entire bloc to the back.I used to do that with 2012, 2008, 2007.. but it's 2013 it's not working, is there a way to correct that?
The Edit via spreadsheet option does not work, it will not call up Excel, although it believes that it does. The computer is running Win7 Ultimate sp 1 64, Office Home and Business 2010 sp1 32, Inventor 2012 sp2. The software (windows, office) is up to date, I have done the registry edit that other sites have mentioned.
I will bring up an .ipt, right click on Table, click on Edit via spreadsheet. I will get a circle for a cursor for a moment as if it were processing, then nothing. I right click on it again, and just get the How To option, so it believes Excel is open when it is not.
When I double-click on a text item, AutoCAD used to go to text edit mode, without entering the TEDIT command. This quit working - now I have to enter TEDIT.
Also, when I select items and hit the Delete key, nothing happens. The selected items used to get deleted.
I tried going to the Windows Start menu and resetting all of the settings to the defaults - this didn't work.
I also tried re-installing AutoCAD from my original disk, and that didn't work either.
My double click edit function is not working even though...

Having cropped my view I then go into the browser to edit the crop (edit sketch), the lines on the crop window will not move and I am unable to edit the selection, why is this not working ? Occasionaly I can move / resize one or two of the crop boundry lines but never all of them.

I have a block named "WD_MLRH". There are 3 specific attributes which I want to change in it. The attribute names are.
RUNGCNT, RUNGDIST and RUNGFIRST.
RUNGCNT will = 20
RUNGDIST will = 1.0 (or 1 will suffice)
RUNGFIRST will be decided by a user input.
Something along the lines of...
