I didn't notice when and why it happened, but now when i draw white line, it appears brown. I didnt change any settings, just did my usual work, when it appears. Other colors are normal. What could it be?

The Arrow head size didn't change corresponding to the scale, i included the pic below, the top picture, the arrow head was set at .18" but was really small when i plot out, so i wanted to make it bigger, when i changed to .50" or .75" or even 1" the arrow head became even smaller than .18". Only when .18" than the arrow side is legible

Lately when I plot my drawings the diagonal lines plot gray. I didn't change the line color. Can't figure it out.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded Autocad 2014 and installed it on a quite good laptop: i7 3630qm and amd 7670m 2gb. The problem is that in the control panel..graphics settings..autocad says it uses intel hd graphics(the integrated video card).i switched autocad as "high performance" in AMD control panel..but nothing changed.How can i fix this?How can i use my dedicated video card?
PS.i also tried to disable the integrated one..but that isnt the solution.Driver is updated though.
What to do to change the settings so you can select an item or items and then type in the command you wnat to use? This seems to have changed between Autocad 2012 and 2013 and only executes command if typed in first then itmes selected.

I occasionally take a photo into Photoshop for more editing and when I do this, if I make any change to the program window side, the color changes to a darker, more muted looking photo. If I minimize the program, nothing changes. If I either change the window size to a smaller, non-maximized window or drag it to my secondary display, the color changes to what I am guessing is a different color space. The only way to fix this is to shut down Photoshop and restart it. I am sure this is some setting in Photoshop color settings, but not sure. Should I have my color settings set to my monitor calibration file or should it be Adobe RGB? Not sure what Lightroom edits in. I do have it set up to send the file to Photoshop in Adobe RGB.

I have setup smart collection to show all images that need to be saved to disk - "Metadata status has been changed". I did the update in smart collection and also in Library folder. On the disk xmp-file seems to be changed but in LR Metadata status is still "Has been changed". The files are CR2-files.After command status was one second "Up to date" but changed very soon "Has been changed". Metada Date was changed OK. Same happend with tif-files but not with jpg-files. All changes are in the sidecar file.
When I try to print a photo and use "Change Settings" to change from "plain paper" to glossy photo paper nothing happens.

i installed the CC on my newer W8 laptop a couple months ago and noticed that the Splash screens are different for Ps & Ia than the ones on my older Win 7 laptop.
i've also noticed there are some new things in Ps on my newer computer like the ability to Sync Preferences, more Fonts and the Properties panel has some new cool features but no matter how many updates that come for Ps on my older Windows 7 computer it doesn't have the newer features.
must i uninstall Ps & Ia to get these cool new features on my older computer too? if so, wouldn't i would lose all my plugins, styles, custom shapes etc.

When I change the background (active command) to black, the cursor blends into it and not visible. Can’t see where is my current position when editing coordinates. The command background was black and text white for the last 10 years for 20 drafters; we would like to keep it this way
I am working on drawings in which some of the text is in yellow which is great on a black background. After printing the yellow becomes very hard to see on white paper. I know I know I could change the color of the layer before plotting but I was hoping for a seamless way of doing it. Is there a way to display colors in yellow and plot in blue similar to white/black?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI’m a long time Photoshop user but recently picked up LR4 to try to fine tune my workflow. I’ve noticed that after importing new files (RAW, I haven’t tried with jpg) into my library as I scroll through them (1-up, not in grid) the preview comes up and then after a second or so the WB changes to a much colder image.
Does LR4 initially preview at specific settings and then change to the individual image settings? Even if so, the final images seem very cool and I feel like I have to up the temp more than I should have to. My previous workflow was to sort in Bridge and then use ACR to import to Photoshop. I feel like I did much less tweaking of my WB this way. I feel like I’m starting from square one with LR4.
How do I change the selection setting?
Example: as I go to select a group of lines in a drawing, I have to hold shift while selecting. Is there a way to change this function?
I am not able to change a constraint in SQLite:
1. I created a schema in SQLite witth AutoCAD Map 3D 2012.
2. I set a constraint to one field: a list with 3 entries valid for the property. For example:
Test 1
Test 2
Test 3
3. I draw some lines
In the schema editor I want to change the constraint:
- But I am not able to add a new entry “Test 4” to the list from step 2
- I am also not able to change an existing entries (“test 1” to “test 1 new”)

I do 2D drafting and have noticed that AutoCAD 2012 hesitate and can be slow when working on 2D drawings. The drawings are small around 250KB. What settings can I change to speed up AutoCAD? The properties palette seems to slow things way down.
My computer is an HP Z200 with plenty of Ram (6 GB). I know it can't be my computer because this is the "recommended" computer by Autodesk for AutoCAD.
Is there a way to change plot settings globally in LT? Somehow, all my layouts got changed from Landscape to Portrait on a job I'm working on and I am changing them all back one by one. And there are a lot of them!

I am trying to change some default layer settings. I go to: Toolspace -> Settings tab -> Right click the drawing name -> Edit drawing settings -> Object layers tab. There I can set the default layers that objects are created on. I want to set "General Note Label" and "General Segment Label" to be created on what ever layer is current.
