Just reviewing the discussion board, I find that there is an indication that this error has been around since longer than AutoCad 2000.
We are currently using AutoCad 2010 in combination with Cadworx 2010 and still encounter the "Missing Integer in Restore File" error randomly. Once this error is encountered, the drawing file is rendered virtually useless.
I'm trying to import a .SAT file into ACAD 2000. I'm using the ACISIN command. Usually I don't have any problems with this. When I find a .SAT file that is too recent, I use HOOPS 3D Part Viewer v13.15 for ACIS to save down the file.
Lately I've been trying to import some Colson caster CAD files from 3dcontent central and I have a problem when I get to the ACISIN portion of my procedure. I get this message
"Modeling Operation Error: Missing integer in restore file. Unable to read the ACIS file"
The file looks fine in HOOPS. I'm not sure why it's not coming into ACAD. I used to not have this problem but I'm having it a lot lately.
I am attempting to update a section and the program hangs at message "Missing double in restore file". this is becoming critical for a particular project
I have a new computer and want to move the databse catalog over. I backed up in PSE 9 to an external hard drive. I connected to HD to the new computer and tried a resotre catalog. I chose "New Location" since I was going from XP to Windows 7 and was unsure if there would be a conflict with file locations. I also chose "Restore Original Floder Strucure". Very quickly I recieve an error message "Could not restor file .xml". I have run Restore Catalog several times and each time a DIFFERENT FILE receives the error message. I then disabled Norton Anti Virus Auto-Protect. I then disabled several programs running in the background. Same problem. I then copied the Backup Catalog to the new computer and tried to Restore it from there. Same Problem. I have now run a Repair Catalog on the original file. PSE states there is no error. I want to purchas PSE 11, but wanted to install/restore the database with the same version 9 first.
When I search an autoCAD file from windows 7, it only shows me the backup file and missed the DWG file. I’m using Window 7 professional, service pack 1, 64-bit operating system; AutoCAD2012. Are there any way to change the seetings so I can see the DWG file?
OK, something I did completely displaced my ribbon from the default horizontal location to either a floating or dockable vertical layout. It's probably staring me right in the face but how can I change it back?
I restored my PSE9 catalog with tags and albums, but was not successful with restoring the album part. What may have happened? Is there something I should do when creating Albums? Any other recommendations, like using Tags instead? I have W7.
I have some foreign drawings the block definition of "_ArchTick" has been changed to get a thicker tick in drawing's dimension. When I have new dimestyle and copy paste into the foreign drawings, it always use the drawing's block setting of "_ArchTick".
How I can paste a new dimstyle and bring in the block of "_ArchTick" to overwrite the one in current drawing?
I am using autocad 2013 primarily and other employees are using 2010. I am saving my drawings as 2010 and for me there are no issues. On the other hand people using 2010 are having objects missing in the drawing. All layers are turned on and all thawed. The primary objects missing are AEC objects. Is there a switch to show or hide these object?
I recently switched from Civil 3D 2012 to 2013 student version because when I initially installed the program I probably messed up some of the settings that I shouldn't have for my entire application. After reinstalling it, I noticed that the program seems to run just fine but the settings for the original file I'm trying to work with remain, such as label settings, linescales, etc.
I want my drawing to match the settings of new drawings when it comes to labels, scales, and anything else I might have changed. Is there a way to apply these settings to my original file? If not, is there a way to at least make sure the label styles can be reset? I don't want any changes to the settings I made to be present in my file.
I would like to eliminate a mouse click in my program. I use getstring to allow the user to either enter in an integer or a distance used for labeling in a drawing, but I could eliminate the need for the user to then click an option that completes the label if I only knew how to determine if the entry is an integer (such as 5 or 15) or a distance (such as 24" or 36").
SurfaceBody.GetExistingFacets( ToleranceIndex As Double, VertexCount As Long, FacetCount As Long, VertexCoordinates() As Double, NormalVectors() As Double, VertexIndices() As Long )
This works fine in VBA (Inventor 2014). But when I start using the same in VB.NET (VS 2012) all declaration as long shows as integer and fails on compiling. If I change to integer compile passes but fail on executing in Inventor 2014.
I am using LR3. I appear to be digging a massive hole for myself trying to sort out the catalog. When I first got LR, I had initially added just a small number of files just to see how LR worked. At this time I was still completing sorting out my full photo collection in 'my pictures' which were also copied to two external hard drives. Once that work was completed, I imported a complete folder (some 4000 images) into LR. The folder/subfolders appeared in the folders panel but the sub folders I had initially imported were displayed with a ? and a message 'file is missing or offline' Going down the road of 'find missing folder' eventually led to my problems.
About 6 sub folders are involved so I eventually took the decision that it could be easier just to remove them so I could then re-import them from 'my pictures'. That hasn't worked out as planned. When I go into 'file' to import photos from 'my pictures' the missing sub folders are there but the images are 'greyed' as well as the import button. When I put the cursor onto one of the greyed-out images the message 'appears to be a duplicate of another photo already in catalog' appears.
how I can restore the 'missing' sub folders into the folders panel.
I work with OpenEXRs 3D renders alot. While they are usually lossless at 32bpc, there are options to save at lossy 24-bit float and lossy 16-bit float with drastically reduced file sizes.(Photoshop still opens them up as 32bpc)
How do these compare to Photoshop's 16bit color? (Which I'm assuming is 16-bit integer?)At 16-bit float, I'm throwing out half the color information, but I'd still have vastly more color information than 16-bit integer? When do I really need 32bpc float? And when is 16bpc float "good enough"?
after working with a lot of layers, masks and clipping layers my file got corrupted. That happened in the past but I always found a way to fix it buy copying uncorrupted layers to a new file. Most of the time it was just one layer corrupted. But this time is big, it looks like the whole file is corrupted.
When I hit "Delete" to delete a photo I usually get to choose between deleting original file or remove from Lightroom 5. Just now, am getting message: "The original file can not be deleted because it is missing or on a volume that is offline." I did not delete the original file. How can the file be returned to "online"?
I'd like to use a grid to snap a lot(!) of small images into a larger(!) one. That works alright.
Problem: the large image has places the small images need to be snapped into, but they are not spaced an integer number of pixels apart. So the grid slowly wanders off the places as I move over the sheet. The places are 127.5 pixels apart (alternately 127 and 128, I guess). I cannot scale the image up, because the image is already 2.7 GB in size and my computer cannot handle the quadrupled size.
Is there a way to make GIMP accept a non-integer width for grid spacing?
It is absolutely ok if GIMP alternately places the grid lines a pixel shorter and a pixel longer.
Edit: I'm using GIMP 2.6.11, could install another version.
PSE 11 catalog but when I try to restore it it says it's empty. I can open the folder/files on my hard drive but the restore function says it is empty.
I need to restore a catalog. All of the info I have found eventually leads to the statement "Restore a catalog to a previously saved version".
Using the hyperlink in this paragraph is a dead end and yeilds a message "The file can't be found". I desperately need my .tly file restored. I do have Norton Ghost image backups but they don't do much good. I think the problem was generated when I removed PSE ver 11.
I'm working on some art on Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Trial and suddenly out of the blue, whenever I use the Brush Mixer tool, a message appears on screen saying that I can't use it because there isn't enough memory on the RAM. So I tried to enter Preferences on Photoshop to try and increase my memory usage however every time I do that, a message appears on screen saying "An Integer between 96 and 67 is required. Closest value inserted". Sometimes when I click "OK" on this box, it doesn't disappear and I'm forced to close Photoshop via Task Manager. Or sometimes the Preferences box box will open but when I try and click on the "Performances" tab within the Preferences box, the same Integer error message appears again and again and I can't click on the "performance" tab whatsoever.
I made several good videos with a JPEG or PSD photo as the media and an audio file as the audio. This worked fine but recently all I get on the video is the audio without the picture. I have tried it on two different downloads of CS6 on different computers and it no longer works.
I have a problem with the Illustrator file I was working on. I cannot open it, and the icon of the file is a bit opaque with a grey cross. If I try to move it, a message says that the file is unavailable. But still is not an empty file. This is the property window:
Also, I stopped working around 01.00, so I don't know why the last access is at 02.36.
Since we switched to AutoCAD 2010 we have been having trouble with things disappearing when we plot to PDF. I can not find a pattern with the things that are missing (i.e., area on page, layer, linetype, etc.). When I do a plot preview everything appears the way it should and then after the PDF is made items are missing. Typically after a couple of trys of rePDFing the drawing everything appears and works fine. I am using Vanilla AutoCAD 2010 and Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro.
