AutoCAD 2010 :: How To Globally Change CELTSCALE Of All Objects In Drawing

How can I globally change the CELTSCALE of all objects in my drawing? Using PROPERTIES, I can change one element at a time, but when I choose multiple objects in the drawing at the same time, PROPERTIES does not allow me to change their CELTSCALE to (say) "1". Also, this doesn't appear to be possible using the CHANGE (Properties option) command either. The latter only allows the LTSCALE to be changed (not CELTSCALE).

FLATTEN, however is not a valid command in ACA 2012.I have never used a lisp routine so I am not sure how they are used.

I would like to globally edit blocks that we have in a drawing that was created in Microstation. All the blocks seem to have a '*A' in the name. It is preventing me from editing or manipulating the blocks.
I need to be able to globally manipulate the different kinds of sprinklers in the drawing as I need to bring this into another program (Autosprink)
I came I have attached a file with part of the drawing..DS Block Prob 1.dwg
We have Autocad 2010 and 2013 in house - though usually use Autosprink for our design.

Is there a way to change plot settings globally in LT? Somehow, all my layouts got changed from Landscape to Portrait on a job I'm working on and I am changing them all back one by one. And there are a lot of them!

I realize it may be a Civil3D question. When I change my drawing scale in the "Drawing Settings" dialog box to 1"=40', for example. The Annotative scale in the Properties Palette changes to 1"=40'_XREF.

I received a drawing with Mtext notes has a different color from the layer they belong...the user change the Mtext note color from the Mtext editor .

We have a custom cuix file that loads some pulldown menus nd ribbon tabs that we have located on the server so that it can be modified and automaticaly updates on all computers once autocad is closed and reopened. My problem is now when I make a change to my setup and save the file, it no longer updates on the other computers.

Outlines don't scale globally with objects. I have a crest with a bunch of elements in it. Some have outlines and some don't. It's 3 inches. I would like to enlarge it to 10 or whatever. If I select the crest and enlarge it, the outlines don't scale. The only option I've ever known of was to take them all individually and check off the scale outline on each object. It's a real workflow killer.
I spent the day reacquainting myself with CorelDraw. This and other similar show stoppers remind me of how difficult it is to make the switch from Illustrator back to CorelDraw. So how are people dealing with this? Are you simply taking however much time it takes to change each individual element to scale with object or is there a preference somewhere that I'm missing? This is a big stumbling block for me. There are a lot of major features I know I'd be leaving behind but there are others that I'd have access to. It's the little things like this that allow me to fly rather than crawl.

In 2011 every so often I get this error "One or more objects in this drawing cannot be saved to the specified format. The operation was not completed and no file was created." This happens and I just go and click file or regen and sometimes it just saves the file other times it does not.

I am using AutoCAD 2012. When I use Paste Special to insert and object as an Image Entity AutoCAD shuts down. I used it for years on older versions of AutoCAD with no problems. It is good to use when inserting a PDF into a drawing to trace over the objects for CAD use.

My problem started when we moved all of the users data to a new Windows 2008 r2 server. Searching and file navigation was slow so we turned on Windows Search service. Greatly improved network searches (users do content as well as file name searches).
Then Autocad started having errors when trying to save or create dwf files. The error "One or more objects in the drawing cannot be saved to the specified format. The operation was not completed and no file was created." Users can save the drawing to the local drive without the error.

My goal is to change all of the objects colors in an xref drawing to gray to use as a background to my work. All changes to the xref drawing were made in the drawing itself, none of this was done in the base drawing.
The quickest way I could find was to change set by layer mode to color only and use set by layer to change all of the objects (select all). This seemed to work fine, until I noticed that certain text would move slightly when the color changed. Long story short this text (single line) moves slightly when the color is changed, even if I select one text and change the color in its properties.
My question is why would text move or change in some way when you only change the color. It doesn't seem to happen to mtext, only dtext.

I have three drawing constructs.I have door tags and room tags. I have schedules. All work just fine. However, I need to combine all three Finish and all three Door schedules into one multi-level schedule for each, doors and finishes. In views, I schedule the external references by selecting the YES option in the properties dialog box. The problem is that the drawing contains doors and spaces that I do not want to be part of the schedule. How do I deselect the objects that I want to be in the schedule?
The other problem is I can only select one drawing. It makes no sense to have separate schedules for each floor on a small project where there are only 10-20 rooms. As a work around I can create the schedules in constructs, import all the constructs into a view, clip all the constructs and the stitch the tables together. This is cumbersome, does not update seamlessly and results in unnecessary file sizes.

I have an existing OS plan that is 'off grid', and would like to adjust the vertices at the ends of all the existing lines and polylines so that they all sit on a grid point. how do I change color in a selection and not globally? My company uses Freehand currently and there is an option to find and replace color in a selection instead of the entire document. I need to figure out how to do this in Illustrator as we will be switching over shortly.

I often use a photoshop template to create work and was wondering id there was a way to select all items that use a particular swatch color and change them to another swatch color? Right now, I have to find each instance I use that particular color and change them one by one to the new color and was trying to find a better way to do this.

I'd like to know how to align an object in model space with the edge of my viewport in paperspace.
When I draw, I like to lay out multiple complete drawings in model space, make an appropriately scaled bounding box around them, and then snap a view port to the bounding box in my layout. I usually have multiple drawings lined up in a row in modelspace, so when I want a new layout I do a Save As and then pan around in my viewport to find the next bounding box, at which point I have to resize the viewport to get it to snap to the edges nicely. I really want to be able to to it the otehr way around- while panning I'd like to be able to grab a corner of my modelspace bouding box and snap it to the the corresponding corner of my viewport window. That way making new layouts would be a snap. Is there a way to do this in AutoCAD 2012 LT?
