AutoCAD 2010 :: Fatal Error While Scroll On Drawing
Jun 28, 2012
I am using 2012 version of CAD. I usually use classic mode. My files consist of alot of xrefs which are saved in different CAD versions. Whenever I scroll on my drawings i get a fatal error. I am not sure why this happens. Everytime a fatal error appears I have recover all the xrefs and the drawings those are opened in my system. Also, If i open the file directly from folder it gives me fatal error. so i have open CAD window first and then i have to open my drawings.
with both "0x000a" and "2653281h" not always displaying the same values. Other 3d and 2d drawings preview with no problems, and i can navigate and make changes in the problem file without any errors.
So I got a problem with a Drawing. I got 2 layouts from the same model space, the first one can be converted just as usual but when I`m trying to plot the second one I`m getting a fatal error. I already tried to copy it into a new layout and tried different PDFcreators such as PDF24 but it`s always the same. There are no special elements or such things in the layout. Ok so I just found out that the problem is the transparency because i can plot it without but i never had that problem before, i even plotted a drawing with transparency today.
Whenever I try to do a print with a Visual Style of "REALISTIC" I get the following message, the numbers may change but it's always has the same outcome the program crashes and I have to restart the program.
So far, through trial and error it only appears to happen when using "REALISITIC" the other styles do not crash the program, at least not yet.
Running AutoCad 2012, with CadPipe 12.5. Printing is being sent to network printers and plotters, doesn't matter which one I send to, it will crash everytime.
We have AutoCad LT 2012 version. We encounter fatal error when we save the drawing. we cannot finish our job because everytime we save our work it will show a messsage FATAL ERROR.
I have been getting fatal errors during my user account but not in my admin account. I logged in as admin and repaired Autocad Architecture 2010, using the system disk. I got back the report that Autocad was repaired. However, when I returned to my user account, I get an unhandled expection error when I start up Autocad.Architecture 2010. Do I need to uninstall Autocad Architecture 2010 and then reinstall or should I just pick the option to reinstall Autocad Architecture and then do I have to another registration code?
My co-worker and I have been getting Fatal Error messages a lot recently and there doesn't seem to be any consistent task that is causing them. We've been getting the error messages with multiple different commands and multiple softwares such as ACAD 2009, ACA 2012, and ACAD 2012. We can't seem to pin down anything specific that is causing the crashes. Fortunately with my crashes I can simply restart the software and everything is ok. However, there have been a couple of times that my co-worker's system crashed and he had to have ACAD 2009 re-installed (this is a major pain because we have to go through our IT department to get anything done on our systems). We have different computers. About the only common thing between us is that we are both running the same version of Windows XP on 32-bit systems.

Mapped drives are used for both site to access NAS, but use different drive letters.
At one point working the projects, users starting getting fatal errors opening from the share. All attempts to get past this failed and I thought the drawing or base files were corrrupt. However, when the files are moved locally to workstation and opened without issue. The users in one office are now working off this files using UNC \serverproject...
The interesting thing, is that users in the other office have no issues dealing with these drawings using on the NAS. The only difference is the WAN and drive mapping letter. This is how they have always worked and never had this issue. The only other thing I will add is they upgraded from 2010 two months ago, but no problems with any other projects.
The company I'm with recently updated their settings across the network. Now, when I step away from my computer for longer than 10 minutes a screen saver automatically comes on. Upon entering the password and getting back to the desktop, AutoCAD comes up with a FATAL ERROR:
Unhandled Access Violation Writing 0x0000 Exception at 54122e86h
I cannot disable the screensaver, I'm running AutoCAD Mechanical 2011 (updated with SP2); Windows XP Pro SP3, 3.25 GB RAM, Matrox M9128 LP PCIe x16 (Latest Driver) dual monitors.
We just installed 2014 on two work stations and saved a few Civil 3D files with it. When we try to open these Civil 3D drawings in 2013 they crash with a FATAL ERROR.
The last few lines on the command line shows: Loading Modeler DLLs.
Modeling Operation Error: Operation unsuccessful.
Modeling Operation Error: Operation unsuccessful.
This error seems to only happen with drawings that have infill grading. I tested it with a drawing with just poly lines and it worked fine. I then converted those poly lines into feature lines using 2014 and it opened fine in 2013. I then added an infill to the feature line region in 2014 and it crashes in 2013.

I have a brand new workstation and only on certain files it will say FATAL ERROR: Cannot write to undo file (probably disk full) when ever I save. I have tried cleaning out the TEMP file, turning off the Undo function, auditing the file and its xrefs, and recovering the file. It was a file that was on the server, but I have pulled it to my local machine and I have also increased the amount of virtural memory avaiable.
Even though I run the Dwgconvert function in DwgTrueview 2012 I still can not open the converted file in AutoCAD Mechanical 2012 SP 2. Fatal error with some hex memory addresses displayed. DwgTrueview opens and displays the dwg. just fine. AutoCAD R14 & 2000 open the file with no problem as well.
I've recently installed AutoCad 2010 and I recieve this error when trying to save an existing drawing using the save as dialog. It has no problem saving as long as I do not change the name but when I attempt to rename the drawing it gives me an error. FATAL ERROR: Unhandled e06d7363h Exception at 7c812afbh
The computer is brand new, a dell work station T1650. Running 2010 CAD program crashing randomly and over 100 times for this past week. Any clue based on the error code?

Upgrading an old machine that is setup to run scheduled tasks that open autocad and run autolisp programs periodically through out the day. It's our little robot that runs by itself in a back room. This machine had AutoCAD R14 on it and has been running fine for years. With the new machine we upgraded to AutoCad 2012, which has unfortunately created some problems. The major one being a fatal error that we can't seem to fix.
The Problem - One of the Autolisp programs is a fairly simple routine that reads a dat file containing pertinent information, it steps through this dat file one line at a time and draws a shape, saves it, erases, draws the next one, and so on. There's typically ~150 items it draws. But it's never making it through. It will create about 90 drawings and then the Fatal Error appears, crashing AutoCAD every time.
What I've tried - Searched for this error and found one thread about possibly corrupt .NET, so we've tried reinstalling .Net Framework (twice) and it had no effect. There was also mention of a possible graphics card/driver issue and to try running with no hardware acceleration. This did nothing which was of no suprise since I'm only receiving this error during this specific scenario, acad runs fine otherwise.
Windows XP, Acad2012, it's running under a classic workspace in single drawing mode.
We are currently putting the old machine back to work until we can find a fix. If you have any questions about the set up or anything, ask away.
