AutoCAD 2010 :: DWG To PDF Option While Printing Is Missing
Feb 8, 2012
Actually on one of my draughtsman's computer, when he hits Ctrl + P, he is unable to see DWG to PDF option in the drop down menu, have I fortgot to install some feature because for rest of my draughtsman they all are getting that option.
I've installed Inventor 2014 and when i want to print my work to pdf i have no DWG to PDF.pc3 on list. I have it on AutoCAD mechanical 2014, but I dont have idea, what happened to Inventor, i reinstalled Inventor few times and nothing have changed.
Best option for large format printing and scanning? We print about 5000 pages a year. Our Xerox 8825 has servered us well but it doesnt communicate with Windows 7 and now appears to have stopped communicating with everything.
My customer is using the Autodesk Inventor 2012, He has a problem which is unable to turn the visibity of the parts on or off in the assembly environment.
there is no any option for visibility when right click to the part in the browser.

I have been trying to follow "Autodesk 3d Civil Help>Surfaces>Adding and Editing Surface Data" in order to construct a surface from a point cloud I have, in x,y,z format. I have been trying to creat a grid surface since my data is regular DTM data.
My first issue is that a lot of the options are greyed out when creating the surface (for example I cannot change "Render Material Style". I can still create a surface though. The second, more important issue, is that I am then told to expand the surface definiton section on the Prospector tab and click on the points icon there. This icon is simply not there for me - I have a choice of Boundaries, DEM Files or Edits.
I should point out that I am working in Autodesk Civil 3d 2006.
Is it some issue with the liscence/installation? Or am I missing something erally obvious that greys out some options and makes others dissapear completely!
I use the Map function within Civil 3D 2012 to export municipal GIS data from shp files, for our base plans. One of the clean-up functions is to convert the text exported from GIS to an appropriate text style suitable for the project. To do this, I would select the text, use the select similar command, then update the text style in the properties window. This process has worked well when using Civil 3D 2010 and 2011, however, I have noticed in 2012 the "style" option is not available.
Not sure what I mean, have a look at the two attachments. Notice in the C3D 2012 image, there is no "style" option, while the C3D 2010 image includes the 'style" option. I submitted this bug to our reseller, who was able to replicate this error. Our reseller submitted this to Autodesk, who was also able to replicate this error. What is interesting is if I open the drawing that contains the map exported data from C3D 2012 in either 2010 or 2011 versions, the "style" option is available, just not in 2012. This leads me to believe the issue is not with the data or the export functionality of 2012, the issue is with 2012 displaying the data property. Autodesk has forwarded this issue to their developers, no indication of when or if it will be resolved for Civil 3D 2012.
My workaround for now is to use Civil 3D 2010 for the drawing cleanup functions. Fortunately I am able to have previous versions of Civil 3D installed, since I am on subscription. My advice is when upgrading, do not remove your previous versions if you are on subscription, you may need to use it one day.
I have a PSB file that I created in CS2 (yes I am still using CS2) and it is not giving me the option of printing it. What's more, when I go to Page Setup it gives me the option of choosing custom paper size in the pull-down menu, but doesn't give me the option of telling it what dimensions I want the paper to be.
i am using AC2013LT and have come accross a problem with the printing. I have completed my drawings, converted them to PDF(image 1) and when i print the PDF out, there are parts of the drawing missing as image 2 shows. If i plot direct from autocad, there is no problem with the print.
I am using autocad 2013 primarily and other employees are using 2010. I am saving my drawings as 2010 and for me there are no issues. On the other hand people using 2010 are having objects missing in the drawing. All layers are turned on and all thawed. The primary objects missing are AEC objects. Is there a switch to show or hide these object?
Why is there no composite grayscale printing option in Illustrator? I see it in Acrobat and Indesign. There are times we need to print grayscale composites to check layout and content. Â Besides converting all colors to grayscale, I see no way to simply print grayscale out of Illustrator. Am I missing something?
I have a rather bizarre issue within AutoCad when printing.
This is affecting multiple people, using various machines (all the same model). It is happening when they print to multiple printers, and also when they print to PDF.
They are losing some information. The drawings themselves usually look ok, it is some of the extra data. This can be in the footnote information in the corner. This can be data within the actual drawing. It is not a guaranteed fault, and affects them all intermittently.
When I use the built-in dwg to PDF for publishing multiable layout tabs I somtimes get extra and/or missing lines and objects on the PDF. When in model space no extra lines a present or missing. Everything is where it need to be. Same goes when a review the drawing in layout before I publish to PDF.
When trying to take a photo from bridge to either RAW or CS5 for processing, those options are no longer available. I get a msg that they are not in the system. Â I have re-installed CS5 but no returning email has arrived from Adobe confirming instillation activty has been completed.
3D option is not on my menu bar , and none of the tool setting show 3D options either. All Screen shots I have seen of Photoshop CS6 have this and I don't.
I'm trying to move an installation from one PC to another. It's a single-user licence (I think), it has a serial number and has been activated over the net. So I need (again I think) to Deactivate it on PC #1 before I can activate it on PC #2. The online help says that under the Help menu I should see a Deactivate option. But I don't. The options under Help are Photoshop Help, About Photoshop, About Plugin... , Patent and Legal notices, System Info, Photoshop Online, and a whole load of How-to's about using the product. Can anyone advise how I can deactivate and move this installation? The product version is 10.0.1 and the OS is WinXP SP2.
I'm having an odd issue in Adobe Illustrator. When I create a shape and go to rotate it by selecting the object and hovering near a corner, I'm expecting my selection tool to change to the arc with arrows indicating that I can rotate the object. This isn't happening, the arc is not appearing and my selection tool is turning into an anchor point selection tool.
When in LR 4Â selecting "Edit inPhoto Shop CS5" for an image I no longer get the edit option box to choose "Edit a Copy with Lightroom Settings" . This seems to have vanished in LR4. I would like to re-enable this option. Right now I get a original file in PS/CS5 without the ability to select some other option.
I used to use Xara Xtreme 4 and loved it. Since changing my computer to one with Windows 7 I have not been able to use Xara Xtreme.
Needed to print out an old Xara image today so downloaded and installed Xara Web Designer 7 as this seems to be the nearest I can get to the old Xara Xtreme that runs on my laptop.
However, I can't find any "Print" option. It's not under File, Ctrl P doesn't do anything, nothing under right clicking. I need to print something quickly and I've given up trying to find the Print option. where have they 'hidden' Print?
Also, am I correct in thinking Web Designer 7 is the nearest program with features to Xara Xtreme or are the features of Xara Xtreme loss forever to this new web site design program?
I have recently installed Gimp 2.8.2, then reinstalled 2.8.4 because the Text Along Path option was missing from the Text Editor options. I was using this tool just fine in an older version so I knew the in's and out's of it then.
As you can see from the attachment, I believe I have all the necessary items in place. In other words, I have a path, which shows in the path dialog. I have text that was created after the path. In the picture, the Text Editor is currently selected while the path is showing in the dialog but the Text Along Path option is missing.
I am a PC user of Autocad LT making the transfer to Mac.Just purchased AutoCad LT for Mac 2012.While printing a file from layout in landscape, the bottom edge is missing.
If I print a file in Portrait It will center and fit to page perfectly.(Within The Dashed Lines)The layout page shows the print inside the dashed lines of the printing area as it should.
I have tried moving the layout above the dashed line, then the top that shows outside the lines won't print.I have tried every hing I can think of, without success.
After upgrading I realized I am missing some external plugins I had installed. Â Those I am missing are ones that I had in an external folder that you could set in preferences. The ability to set an Additional Plugin Folder is gone. Can I set an external plugin folder?
I'd like to outline some text, so I went to the Text tool, entered the words, highlighted them and then looked for the button that would let me create an outline path. It's not there. Plain and simple. There's an empty space between "language: English" and the tool pre-set buttons. I checked under the paths dialog, but the option isn't there, either.
I've never used the text menu before - actually, I've just never used GIMP before. Perhaps I'm missing something obvious? I read a couple of tutorials, but none of them said that you had to do anything other than highlight the text to make the "create path from text" option appear.
I am trying to add alt tags to objects in an InDesign CS5 project. The guidance I can find tells me to go to Object > Object Export Options. The problem I have is, there is no Object Export Options option available..
Doesn't Photoshop Elements 11 support a photo tray option or is it just the main tray on your printer? My printer has a photo tray that I always used in previous Elements versions. Elements 11 doesn't show a photo tray option in printing, what gives???
I am working through an AutoCAD training book and on one exercise it tells me to use the Snap Rotate Option and select points A as the new origin and point E as the rotation angle. The problem is that I can't find this Snap Rotate control anywhere.
I need to dimension numerous angles in a drawing, but I have a constraint on where I need the dimension to start from. I'm looking for the "least number of mouse-clicks" solution on this, since it's angles.
I need the dimension to always start from a quadrant, preferably 0 degrees.I'd prefer to simply pick (1) line and have AutoCAD auto-magically dimension that line from 0 degrees, rather than my having to draw short horizontal lines at each of these lines, then pick each one inside the DIMANGULAR command.
