View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a .psd picture of a tank and try to animate it in AE by rotating its wheels and tread (or track?). The only solution i have come up with is to slightly change tread layer's x and y positions in every frame, making it to vibrate. However it does not create rotation illusion which i'm after - the tread vibrates, but doeas not revolves around the wheels. If there are other solutions to make tread layer rotate around tank's wheels, i would be glad to hear about them. All 7 tank's wheels are separate layers and the tread layer is above them. The rest of the tank's layer is above tread layer
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've created a grid of around 80 individual text layers (each layer is a single letter) and first, I want to animate their opacity as a group, then INDIVIDUALLY animate their opacity (again) and color. How do I do this?
Also, while I'm asking, I have two simpler questions:
- is there a way to animate the color of multiple layers at once so I don't have to click on each individual layer and do it manually?
- how do I achieve a "swipe" opacity effect? If this is not clear I can explain but I won't bother for now.
if it is possible to import PDF content and animate each element of it. For ex., animate the titles, some text, some images? Then, export into a swf. file? I am not sure if AfterEffect is the best way to do it? Flash, Illustrator, maybe?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a logo in a png file that I would like to bring into AE and animate. I did not create the logo so I have no idea how to bring in layers from Illustrator or Photo Shop. I am not familiar with either program but I have watched a former colleague separate the layers (aplha channels, etc..) it's all Greek to me. The logo has a couple words on it plus an exclamation point that I would like to animate if possible...
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have worked on After Effects and recently started doing my Motion Graphics work in MAYA. I made some models using the Polygonal Mesh primitive objects for logos etc etc.
I was wondering if I can animate the growth of an object as though it is being formed formed in 3D space. I tried doing this by taking it in AE but it becomes a Flat image and I loose the z dimension, thus I can only move the mask in X & Y axis.
If there are any tools to animate or any Keywords that I can explore to make this job feasible. I do not want to pull down the transparency and animate it as then it makes the entire object disappear or visible at the same time.
There is an element that I don't want to move (x and y co-ordinates) but I want to add effects to it (like bounce effects). How do I do this?

EDIT: Ah -- by using a stroke Animator, it can be changed over time.
He wants me to take an image (Its just a square image) and have it start in the center of the screen, and as it scales down and moves to one of the bottom corners (I've already got that part done) the image multiplies and creates a seamless circular/oval band in 3D space. He also wants this done with another image, but for this other image (also simply a square) to create a sphere as it multiplies.
Is there an easier way to do this, or am I going to have to place, manipulate and animate each individual copy of the square image to create a solid band?
Okay, well I'm not really new to photoshop, like I can put pictures together and whatnot, but I was wondering how to separate Multi Burst photos. When I take them on my camera it's like they're all separate pictures, but on the computer it ends up becoming one big picture.

Is there a way to burst all Inventor sketch-symbols and titleblocks into plain text upon exporting (from Inventor to Autocad DWG format)?
iLogic, api, xml ?
Our biggest supplier still uses Autocad DWG format and needs to access theses attributes in plain text (scripting stuff). The only work-around, we have found is to re-open each exported files and burst these manually
--- extremely time consuming and not acceptable ---
the zoom burst effect has stopped working in PSE 12! when I click the zoom burst function the photo distorts as designed but when i click the "add focus area" button on the photo it returns the whole photo to normal without focusing the part selected.I have uninstalled and reinstalled PSE 12 already with no effect.
View 3 Replies View Related It's close... when I load it, however, instead of finding the block by name, it gives me "Select objects". As soon as I pick the block it executes the burst. But I can do that much without a program.

That means user should select an area (window selection) and lisp program should be find all blocks with TEXT or ATTRIB inside in selected area and then applys "BURST express tools" command to all these blocks in the selected area by user.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have received details that have been blocked that I need to edit. When I expode or burst them, the dims text and arrows grow larger than is required for the block and I cannot find any adjustment in the properties to bring them back to the correct size for the detail. Also the leaders lose their point and association with their text and become just a line.
Is there a command that will allow me to edit the block without loosing the current sizing and associations?

View 2 Replies View Relatedhow do I draw a balloon? (circle with text in it and a leader with an arrow head pointing to the part).
I'm still doing it the same as I did it in Autocad 9
I found this balloon in my CD collection and want to use it for future birthday cards, putting it on to another image.
how I go about changing the light on it, or use Blending perhaps? When I tried blending in PS, all I got was a huge black/white blending - I have only used Blending a few times, but in Illustrator, so I need step by step instructions.
I also would like to put a good looking text inside the balloon, warped. I may also want to change the color of the string,
Does anyone know if there is a party balloon filter?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am using Paint Shop Pro X - the last decent version that Corel made.
I haven't done anything artistic in Paint Shop Pro in a couple of years.
I am trying to put text in a balloon, on a photograph, to show what someone is saying.
Every single thing I try arranges the text along the outside of the balloon.
All three of my books on Paint Shop Pro X and Paint Shop Pro 9 (which is very similar), the help files, and everything I can find online, specifically discuss only how to put text along the outside of a shape, or along a curved line -even though the discussion topic and associated photos often clearly show cartoon text inside balloons in the normal manner.
One discussion does show specifically how to do it; unfortunately they are written for Paint Shop Pro 5 or something, and I don't get any such dialogue box to open when I click on either A thingy on either tool bar.
Specifically how DO I put text inside a balloon in the normal manner? By normal manner, I mean, like in this post.
The issue is with another users computer with AutoCAD 2008LT, When placing a leader balloon; the font seems to appear larger then the block looks like its rescaling, i explode the block and the font goes to proper size.
I have tried different fonts in 'circle source block' the issue has not gone away, I don't seem to have this issue with 2009lt on my PC.
If you're displaying the part number in a balloon, is there any way to truncate what is shown?

I am preparing a weld map for our welding shop, and they would like me to balloon each joint and create a table with each joint's number, so that the welder/pressure tester can sign off. Is there a way to balloon joints and not parts, or make a custom ballooning scheme?
