Photoshop :: Open GL 2.0 Performance...
Mar 15, 2009Prior to my recent purchase and installation of PS CS4 Standard, I had downloaded and installed PS CS4 Extended, which is the TRIAL VERSION of PS CS4.
I've noticed several difference between the TRIAL VERSION and Standard.
While using the TRIAL VERSION, The Arrange Documents Pull down showed all the icons within sections 1 and 2.
With the Standard Version installed the same icons associated with the Arrange Documents Pull down are no longer visible.
While using the TRIAL VERSION, image magnifications of 500% or higher were displaying the Pixel Grid.
With the Standard Version installed, those same magnifications NO LONGER SHOW the Pixel Grid.
While using the TRIAL VERSION, the Preferences - Performance GPU Dialog box was grayed out.
With the Standard Version the GPU Dialog box is stilled grayed out, but now reveals (in black text) that "No GPU options available with Photoshop Standard".
Was the OpenGL specs for the TRIAL VERSION somehow "loosened" or made less stringent versus the OpenGL specs for PS CS4?
Is there any other explanation for the differences in OpenGL performance between the TRIAL VERSION and the Standard version?
AutoCAD Inventor :: Can't Open VBA Editor
Jul 23, 2012I have Autodesk Inventor 2011 and I cannot open the VBA Editor. I have tried to reinstall inventor and that has not worked. I have already looked at this thread and tried some of the solutions but none of them have worked. The Inventor32bitHost.exe starts up and then closes once I click the button. I have Windows 64-bit professional.

Dec 18, 2012I have a Dell that runs on Windows 7. I recently received a bamboo pad for christmas. BIG PROBLEM..I was able to install the programs that came on the bundle successfully. However, when i click on the PSE shortcut on my desktop it opens the welcome screen. When i click on Organizer it opens just fine. However, when i click to open the editor it seems to appear as if it is going to launch and then nothing happens. The editor never opens.

Mar 10, 2013Just received a new PC w/ PSE 11 pre-installed. OS is Windows 8. Was editing a photo in LR 4 and wanted to go into PSE 11 Editor to do more editing. When I tried to open PSE editor, Adobe required product registration, which I did. LR created a duplicate TIFF file and everything, and the window popped up asking if I wanted to Edit a Copy with Lightroom Adjustments, etc., and then PSE 11 Editor opened up fine the very first time. (However it didn't seem like some of the tools were working properly, but that's another question for another time.) Subsequent attempts to open the PSE Editor either from Elements itself and LR4 have failed. Editor will not open.

Dec 18, 2013I'm trying to edit some material properties before rendering. But suddenly, I can no longer open up the Material Edit window. I searched and it said to look where it was last opened. Ok, I did that because I was using it this morning. But then it disappeared for good and I cannot figure out how to re-open it. I've cold booted my computer and restarted AutoCAD but the results are the same. So what am I missing. This copy is AutoCAD 2013 and it has SP1 and SP2 loaded.
UPDATE: OK...something weird happened. I finally found it but it was hidden beneath the other icons which I have anchored on the left. I was only able to get to it by carefully placing my mouse on a piece of it and dragging it out into the model space. So, what gives and how can I avoid this in the future?

Oct 28, 2013I'm using Piccure as external editor for LightRoom 5.2. When trying to open image, I get "Image file -psn_0_S784964 doesn't exist", when my original image has different name. Image name is accepted by Piccure as first command line argument. Looks like LightRoom starts Piccure with wrong arguments.
Could it be that LightRoom starts external editor with different syntax then "/Applications/Piccure/Piccure.app/Contents/MacOS/psplugin /pathToFile/imagefile.tiff". Maybe in some cases it adds more arguments, or corrupts existing path to image?

Apr 23, 2013Have just installed Revit 2014. Material editor will not open with icon (Manage>materials) or Type Props>Edit Assembly>Material. Additionanl Setings>Material Assests is greyed out. I have gone back to a project where I know the Asset Library is loaded as well as trying in one of the new sample files. Additionaly means I cant add or change any layers in Edit Assembly.

Nov 10, 2012I've been using Photoshop Elements 10 since early August and it's been working well.
However, since yesterday, when I use the File/Open command in Edit to get a new picture, I no longer see thumbnails, just a graphic of an orange flower. The pictures (mainly JPEG with some RAW/NEF) still open fine and if I single click one of the orange flowers I get a preview at the bottom of the Open screen. However, this is far from convenient. FYI, I usually work set to "large icons" but I've tried all the different size settings.
FYI, I've recently bought a new computer with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and reinstalled PSE10. However, all was working fine immediately after the change of computer and the lack of thumbnails has only just started.

Jan 20, 2014My Photoshop Elements 12 editor won't open. I have had elements for 2 weeks and it was worked just fine, but now it won't open even though my organizer works just fine. It pops up with an error message. I have tried the ctrl+alt+shift and that doesn't work either. I have updated all that needs updating.
