how to make a grid, and rotate it, and change the perspective, etc. What I can't figure out, is how to get the grid to blend together in the background as if it goes on for a very long distance. Even if I start with a huge grid and then rotate and shrink it down how I want it, it doesn't look like that picture. The 'far away' grid lines get faint and do not start meshing with each other.
I'm trying to figure out how to create an iLogic rule that would create a Custom iProperties and put in what version of Inventor the file was last updated with.
Let's say, for example, that i create an object with a size, then i create other objects with other sizes.
When I try to see the size of the first object created it says that has the same size like the other objects which have other sizes (it's even obvius cause they r bigger on my screen:D).With all the other versions of Corel i didn't had those problems, but X5 does that.
I am using Xara pgdMX to create a pdf from which I use another program to create a flip-book.All the links have a blue rectangle around them when they appear in the flip-book.I am told by the flip-book team that I should make them transparent in Acrobat... which I don't have. URL...
When I "move a dimension with Leader" is there a way to create an arrowhead on the create3d leader. After I create a Linear Dimension I select it and hover over the blue box in the dimension text and select 'Move with Leader" and the leader does not have an arrowhead. Is there an easy way to do this? Autocad 2012.
I'm trying to create a shadow map and require a 2nd uvw channel to do so.
Using the unwrap modifier to create the map in the 2nd channel is ok, but after collapsing the stack, if I go back and re-open the modifier the 2nd channel UV's haven't been saved.
I have the feeling that a checkerboard must be simple to create in Photoshop, perhaps using layers and duplicating checkerboard elements, but I am still struggling.
I would like to know about how to create animations in photoshop. Then what is the best type for saving animated image in photoshop. according to my knowledge best type is .gif . but how to view animated gif in win XP/7.
I have a photoshop file with several layers...about 100. I want to put each layers into it's own group. The name of the group must be the same as the name of the layer.
I tried creating an action to do this but it did not work right. It only works for one layer selected individually. If I select multiple layers, then it forms nested groups. How do I create this action? I am using adobe photoshop cs6 ( I think) , windows 7.
here is an odd ball question. I just scanned a image and now I am trying to open it in ps cs6. It opens just fine but I cannot rename the background layer or make new layers. I have tried other files and they work just fine. It's really strange. I double checked and there no process like free transform or clipping that might keep me from renaming the background. ? I am uisng ps cs6 on a mac. Here is a screen shot.
I can't create a Pattern of a selection area. When I try to create the Pattern at Edit->Define Pattern, this option isn't available. I will tell you the steps I'm taking:
->Create a new doc and use Paint Bucket Tool to paint it with Black (this is the background). ->Then I create a new layer and with the rectangular marquee tool I do a square. ->Keeping the selection I press cmd+backspace and the square becomes white. ->Keeping the selection I do a Stroke with 2px, color black and option Inside. ->Then I go to Edit to define a pattern of that square, however the Define Pattern option is gray, so I can't use it.
Decided to download the trial version of CS6 and create some actions for myself. What I need to create is a 3d canvas wrap image as seen in the pic.I need to be able to control the following.

When I try to save an image file as a pdf, Photoshop CS6 adds .jps instead of .pdf. I cannot open the .jps file, the message says it is damaged. I have used various versions of Photoshop for years and never had any problem making images into pdf.
Using the same Mac Pro, OS 10.8.2, 64-bit 16 GB RAM.
For my latest graphic design project I need to create "star bursts" like those shown below (the pink and green ones on the right, the smaller brighter ones to the left). I have CS3.
If there is a way I can create/save an image in VS 10 that I can use later on for cover art, etc. I tried to save a title as an image but I'm not doing something correctly.
When I create Blu Ray H264 (1920X1080) video clips in VS Pro X3, all files give me extensions *.mpg, and they can be played with my LG BD 570 player. However, When I create Blu Ray H264, 1920X1080 video clips in VS Pro X4, all files give me extensions *.m2t, and these video files can NOT be played with my LG BD 570 player.
Is there anyway I can create Blu Ray H264 (1920X1080) video files with extensions *.mpg in VS Pro X4? What is the difference between Blu Ray H264 (1920X1080) *.m2ts and Blu Ray H264 (1920X1080) * .mpg file?

I have VideoStudio Pro X2. Purchase late last year to create a 50th wedding anniversary video for my parents. Worked great, able to mix video, add music, able to copy to DVDs, etc.
I haven't opened it for a while, until today. I tried to make another copy of the video on a DVD tonight, the window pops up, it says the video is loading, but the video never comes up. When I try to click on the popup (anywhere), it says the program stopped working and MS will shut it down (gives me the option to shutdown or continue).
I downloaded SP1 as well. Still same issue.
The video will play fine in the edit mode. I tried to copy another video compilation that I made a year ago (same timeframe) and it worked fine.
The system runs fine apart from that. When I go to Share, Create Disc, DVD, then check Create Disc, Create DVD Folders, Create Disc Image, Normalize Audio, Delete Temporary Files in Working Folder. Then Click Burn, everything proceeds as normal until both progress bars reach 99%, then I get the following message " Unspecified Error -- 5.0.0".
Nothing gets transferred to disc. This is the same for all projects. I have already tried re-installing VS X5. Nothing seems to make any difference.
