Xara :: Replication Of The Logo
Nov 7, 2009I am trying to replicate this logo but the P in POSITIVE that has been stretched and lengthened is giving me issues.

AutoCAD Inventor :: DWG BMP Embedding Replication
Jun 6, 2013We have Inventor DWG templates that I have created based on our AutoCAD DWG templates. We chose the INV DWG route to simplify template creation. However, our logo has a gradient hatch with the 'O', something which Inventor cannot handle.So we now modify the logo only, changing the 'O' to an embedded bitmap image. The same goes for the ISO logo.
After doing this, I noticed the drawings were increasing in size, at a much higher rate than detail I was addding to the drawings. If I go to Tools > Links, i see that the bitmaps are being replicated, over and over (seems like after every save, or every time the drawing is opened). The count can hit around 45 embeddings!
The problem is that the logo randomly drops off (on screen and after printing) due to there being too many embeddings, and I cannot save the Inventor DWG to an AutoCAD DWG any longer (clients request editable DWGs).
Question :Â How do I stop the embedding replications?

Jan 31, 2012I am building a site for a client, and as such they employed the services of a graphic designer to design a company logo. Well the client has chosen one of the logos but the colors do not fit in as well with the sit layout as one would desire. I approached the graphic designer to request changes for the client, but they sent me the files and said I can modify them in Photoshop.
The trouble is, I don't use PS. How to make the appropriate changes using Xara? I did try to highlight the text but I think it may all be part of an object with the razor. I wanted to convert the larger text to white and export everything from a dark background so it doesn't have the white jagged edge you would see from a white background.

Xara :: Hairy White Edges Around Transparent Logo?
Jan 16, 2011I have created a logo for a client using Xara. I would like to be able to send then a transparent version of the file so that they can use the logo on different backgrounds. The problem is a white hairy edge surrounding each element of the logo.
I have tried saving to png, gif, and tiff but they all look the same.

Nov 19, 2012I have inherited a site tempate, and am trying to change the logo to emulate the text already present on graphics on the site. The site is at [URL]. I have played with varying the shadow on the lefthand text image but it just can't emulate that on the right which was supplied with the site layout. I can't get the shadow to have the same soft blur as the text on the right.

Feb 4, 2012He wants me to have the completed logo in .ai version and a .EPS..why would they want them saved like this- why wouldnt just a PSD and JPEG be ok?
Secondly, I see that .ai is Adobe Illustrator- what does this allow someone to do, that they wouldn't be able to do on photoshop.
I have the ability to save as EPS, as well as many others, but not .ai. However, I see there is an ability under 'File', to 'Export to Illustrator'. If I was to do this, would this save it as an .ai file that would suit my 'client'.

Mar 22, 2012I'm using ProX3 and I've got a small logo I need to black-out/blur-out in one of my videos. It's on a person's jacket and this person moves around in the shot ---- so I can't just have a static spot to cover it. I'd also like it to be as least obvious as possible.

Jan 29, 2003Im tryin to make a logo for a web site into a vector graphic that i can use with the custom shape tool. I've read at the adobe web site how to do it but there is one catch. When you paste it it says to set it to paste on a new shape layer. I cant seem to make it create a shape layer, only a new one. Can somebody enlighten me?
