A play icon insie a circle appears on the top right (semi-transparent, like a watermark) after I import the video and on the file that's exported. The original file doesn't have this so it must be an Adobe default? Does same thing in Media Encoder.

- browser window appears for a split second, then disappears when importing new files.
- browser window sometimes shows all items greyed out when trying to import files.
- cannot "Link Media" by example multiple TIFF and one EDL file for subtitles. 1st time menu appears a split second then disappears, then on subsequent tries all is greyed out.

I have a mid 2012 Macbook PRo Retina with SSD @ 50% capacity. All else is extremely fast.All my Adobe Master Collection CS6 is up to date.
When I import a short AVCHD or MPG (~ 1 min., 100 mb) into Premiere Pro CS6 or After Effects CS6, it plays great. When I import the same file into Photoshop CS6 on the same computer, it's jerky, even with sound off, frame skipping enabled, cached, and no other applications running.

System is a Core i7 with 8 gb RAM, 1.5 gb nVidia GeForce, Win 7 x64 and DirectX 11. All drivers ruthlessly updated.
If I save a Camera Raw manipulated image as a COMPRESSED (LOSSLESS) DNG file it appears back in CS3 Bridge as a DNG Icon and not as a thumbnail. Is there a reason for this and can I get the saved file to appear as a thumbnail.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI downloaded the LR5.3 file: Lightroom_5_LS11_mac_5.3.dmg and then clicked on the file to open it. After installing, the Lightroom 5.3 icon appears on the top right of my Mac desktop, however, when i open Lightroom from Finder>Applications it still shows LR5.2C. So I clicked on the LR5.3 icon on the top right of my screen and it gives me the original box that I already clicked to install LR5.3.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've made a project in Premiere Pro CS6 with greenscreen footage from a canon XF100 (MXF file).
When I open the project in Premiere Pro CC I can scrub throught the timeline everything is oke.
But playing or rendering the timeline, gives me only the bottom half of the greescreen footage. I see that in Premiere CC the clip with the footage becomes gray after putting an effect on it. When I do this process from the start in CC it works fine. But there are 52 timelines in the project made in CS6.
I can't get any audio to play while in Premiere Pro. The computer's programs has audio in the speakers and headphones with everything but Premiere, including exported premiere files but I'm not sure why. It was fine just two days ago.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently downloaded Premiere Pro through Creative Cloud and I have now made a video I wish to share with friends and family. The only trouble is, whenever I export it, the video saves and shows up in my folders but if I try to open it a notice comes up saying " Server execution failed". Why does this happen and how can I get my video to play on things such as Windows Media Player? I have used Premiere Pro at college many times before and all the exporting details looked fine but that didn't work and even when I made a few adjustments.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a question about conforming material from Abode Premiere CS 5.5..I have a 720@50p source that was converted to Avid DNxHD 10bit 720@50p in Quicktime .mov container, using Media Encoder.Then material was edited in Premiere, cuts, dissolves and etc. Timeline in Premiere is set to 720@25p, because I need to output 720@25p finals.Premiere DOES NOT slowdown shots in timeline, it just plays them skipping every 2nd frame (I thinks so), so it is played in a normal speed and audio is in sync also. In Interpret footage settings nothin is changed - so, it still treats as 50p footage.
Problem is that I dont understand how to conform this footage correctly in Smoke.If I use automatic conform using wiretap import of AAF (same dir as footage is), Smoke thinking about this operation about 10-15 mins and then it creates a 1080@50p timeline where all shots are smaller it's native size and timing is completly wrong. They starts early than they should.If I use Video I/O I have correct sizing but timing issue is still present.
I need to create a project with PAL settings and override resolution to 720p?
How make Smoke to play footage same as Premiere does? Whithout shifting in out points?
I am using Premiere CC to edit Pro Res 422 in a sequence using the ARRI Cinema 23.976 sequence preset. My rough cut sequence has lost all audio playback. I can play audio from the source, and in other sequences in the same project but this sequence specifically is not giving my ANY playback. In audio hardware, I have set output to built-in output and made sure that my system is set to the same thing as well. When I click into channel properties, right click>Modify Channel I see 4 audio tracks set to Source Channel 1, 2, 3, 4. All are set as "Ch.1" under Channel in track.  Â

The files is 50 minutes long, I exported 10 minutes long video before and it plays just fine..I use gaming laptop msi gt70 for processeing the video
In Premiere Pro CC, if I have previously set an in and out point in my source monitor, the spacebar plays clips from the in point only. I'd rather be able to move my CTI to any place in my clip, hit spacebar, and play from there but it always snaps to the in point and plays from there.

The play around shortcut is a joke because it doesn't play from the playhead location and loops at seemingly random intervals.
I'm using Photoshop Elements 10 Organizer with Premiere Elements10 Installed. I have a number of files of type MTS which I understand to be AVCHD and are imported from my Panasonic Lumix TZ20 camera which captures HD video. These files will not play in the Organizer, resulting in a message stating the required Codec is missing. However, when the same file is sent to Premiere Elements for Editingand agreeing to a message to have Premiere set the correct properties for the media type it plays perfectly. What am I do wrong? Are there any settings I need to change to have Organizer also play the file successfully?

I want to select what it shows, kinda like how you can select a thumbnail on youtube when you upload a video.
dragging a video file to new items from project file results in yellow render bar sometimes even tho previous file with EXACT same properties worked with no render bar - that has been an issue since pre-CC additionally but inconsistently pre-cloud , i could drop several items on new items icon all at once and would get all media to open in individual timelines that saves tons of time when dealing with 50-100 media files at a time by eliminating sequence labeling - was a godsend - have god send it back.

I have the latest drivers installed.The crash occurs as soon as I try to switch from list view to icon view in my project browser. The thumbnails come up but Premiere crashes with a serious problem notification shortly after (no further infos whatsoever).

I've tested my RAM by using MEMtest86: No errors. I have narrowed it down to my graphic card. I plugged it out for testing and had no problems with the icon view. The graphic card has currently the AMD Beta-Driver (14.3 Beta) but that didn't work. Before that I had the 13.12 version installed. I've also tried switching the Open_CL Support off.
It used to be that whenever i would move the cursor in adobe premier with either the left or right arrows or by simply clicking and dragging it, it would play the audio from that frame. But it is not doing it anymore, I think i must have accidently hit a shortcut key or something to change it in settings i dont know. But it would be good if I could get the setting to change it back. I know for a fact that my laptops speakers do work, so its not that.

I have a sequence of my character doing one thing on side, and another one doing something different, and I want to mash them together to look like they happened at the same time. View 6 Replies View RelatedIn an HDV project in CS5 Premirer Pro, I am importing images from a source file into the project window and then onto the timeline. These are separate jpg images, each one with a different filename albeit the first three letters of the filename are the same. When the images are imported, although the filenames are as they appear in the source folder, the actual images are all identical - usually to the first image in the group. It makes no difference whether I import the images separately or as a group - the same problem persists. I have tried clearing the media cache and re-starting the computer. No use.
View 1 Replies View Related i have been having trouble with premiere pro, i am tasked with editing footage for a promotional video for a college. the footage was recorded on two seperate cameras, first was a JVC HM100, second is a Canon 1100D.
now we have most of our footage, and i have looked through it when i was on a mac, but then we i went home to do it at home on my PC running Windows 8.1 and Premiere Pro CC, i tried to import the JVC footage and it says the Codec is missing. but when i import the footage from the Canon, it works fine, so i have to right codec to play mov. but as far as i know, it is todo with the JVC recording with MPEG-2. now converting the footage works, but it is extremely time staking and i think it is reducing the qaulity a bit. i just want to know if there is another way for me to fix the file and import it into Premiere Pro CC. or a different conversion method. i am using handbrake currently as i know the programme and i can change a lot of quality settings. i have a lot of little files to convert, it isnt a case of a few big files, its over 30 little files, so i would like a working queueing feature if i convert file.
i can import MOV files that were filmed on a JVC camera but i can import files that were filmed on Canon camera, and i beleive it is todo with MPEG-2

This worked absolutely perfectly but I was surprised by 2 things ....that I do not recall happening in CS6 or any prior versions. ( I never did this procedure much though)

#1. The assets came in as if project managed. ie. Only the assets the sequence required. In this case a very small sub set of what was in the original project.That was very cool and made for a neat and compact project. I dont recall that in CS6 so if its a feature...I love it.

#2.The assets did not ingest in the new project in the Bin folders carefully named and organised in the original project.Not so cool in the case where one is using source footage with common file names (eg. AVCHD) and not so cool that it needs managing and sorting again.I think I recall assets imported in original folders in CS6 ...albeit...non project managed ie everything??? Part cool and part not!

Do wonder if #2 can be looked at as a possibility for a fix. It would be brilliant please Adobe.I created a new project and imported the sequence ( which was an edit lockdown) specifically for a Direct Link into Speed Grade.

It was an insurance measure in case of any issues that may have arisen. eg a corruption via the DL. workflow.the DL and SG are working on this brilliantly well.Â
Will Premiere Pro CC import directly from the Canon G20 or need the files be copied? O/S is Win-7 Pro.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a problem regarding MJpeg avi codecs. I have a Fufifilm Finepix Zoom digital camera which has a motion picture capture facility as do most digital cameras now. The Mjpegs Avi movies I record will play fine on Windows Media Player and Quicktime but when I try to import the movies into Adobe's Premiere 6.0 Video Editing Package I get a Error: message stating that the Mjpeg Avi has an unsupported compression format. The files I'm trying to bring into premiere are not large (1Mb/3MB) and I've also tried recompressing the Mjpegs with Advanced AVI Splitter software with no success.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to import a large wmv file (1hr 6min) into premiere pro cs6 so that I can blur some faces, it is a traffic stop, but the file will not import. I have done this before several times but the largest file was 16 min. Is this file too big to import? Because of legal reasons it cannot be edited in any way except to blur the faces. I was going to divide it into smaller files to import but was told it had to be intact.

I have some footage from a Panasonic camera which has imported fine into Final Cut but when I try to import into Premier I don't get any audio.

I'm using the media browser and I've copied the full contents of my card and like I say it does work in Final Cut.
When I import 5D III cinemadng's into Premiere 7.1, the footage comes in with a weird pink overlay. It's not just a tint shift, but some sort of color distortion. After Effects and Photoshop both read the file just fine via Camera Raw.
