Premiere Pro :: CC Extremely Slow On Export?
Jun 30, 2013I just started testing the new premiere CC as a replacement for the Pro5.5.
Most of my clips are AVCHD from the dreadful Panasonic 130 / 160 cams.
Although the new premiere works well as far as handling these clips (surely better then CS6 with the BUG) , when I try to export to mpg2 DVD … well …. Trees grow faster.
For some reason the premiere cs5.5 does it faster, way faster than the CC. The CUDA engine is active in both cases, but has no visible effect on speed. The computer I am using has the I7 6 cores dual threads, 32 GB memory, SSD for system disk and GTX570 for GPU
Illustrator :: Save For Web Showing Small And Pixelated
Feb 23, 2014I have created a basic document in illstrator CC, and when I try to 'Save for Web' the image opens in the save for web panel extremely small, although says it is 100%, and it is pixellated. I'm using a brand new MacBook pro.

Lightroom :: 4 - Watermark Pixelated After Export
Oct 5, 2012Lightroom 4? My watermark is pixelated after export.
I've checked my logo everywhere else and it's wonderful, crisp and clean - including while resizing it in the preview for watermark setup, but for some reason it's pixelated and awful looking after lightroom export.

Premiere Pro :: Imported PNG Images Showing As Text?
Mar 3, 2014After going back to some Premiere Pro projects which contain a lot of graphics (PNG files) they don't display as the images, they display as text, which is the first font avalible in my font selection with the word 'LOGO' I don't know why this happens and other than re importing all the PNG's again i don't know how to correct this.
Admittedly the file locations have changed but when opening the project I am prompted to locate media, which i do, the media is then found with no problems. The media is also present at the correct points on the time line, but it's the same logo problem.

Premiere Pro :: Closed Captioning Not Showing Up At Specified In / Out Points
Mar 26, 2014I recently upgraded to a trial of 7.2.1 (I'm a *long* time CS user) and am having an issue with closed captioning that's got me pulling my hair out. Upon importing a .scc file and inspecting it in the captions tab, I have all the captions I'm expecting at the proper timecodes (for example if I look up the start of a line in the program window the start timecode matches the "In" timecode listed in the Captions tab).
However upon playing the timeline and turning on Closed Caption display - the captions are not displaying (nor disappearing) at the in/out timecodes listed in the caption tab. They're showing up (roughly) seven seconds later at the beginning of the program, and over 11 seconds late by the end of the program.
I guess it's possible it's just a player issue and the issue will correct itself on output, but that's not really comforting. I could do what I need on this job by renewing my license for some other software, but Premiere would be a more versitile use of my limited software upgrade budget - but only if it can actually do the job properly.
Premiere Pro :: CC Not Showing Recent Projects On Startup?
Jan 22, 2014I recently upgraded to the Creative Cloud from CS6. Whenever I load up Premiere CC, it opens the welcome window like always, which normally lists all of my recent projects. But since I've upgraded, my recent projects don't show up on the welcome screen or in the file menu under Open Recent. If I have Premiere open and open several projects during a single session, those will all show up under Open Recent in the File menu. However, as soon as I close Premiere and open it up again, I lose all of my recent projects.

I only see in points, out points, time code and clip marker for syncronize points. Are there only certain file types that can be synced this way or is there a setting I'm missing?

Dec 3, 2013I rendered the video previews on the timeline (5 video timelines) The length of the timeline is 1 hr 20 min. The first 37 minutes playsback fine but from that point on, the edited video flickers showings video from the footage on each stacked timeline. I restarted computer hoping that would take care of the problem but did not.

Mar 13, 2014My external drive(s) aren't showing up in Premiere Pro... and yes, they were working just fine yesterday. The internal drives both show up, but the external drive(s) aren't accessible.
At first I thought that perhaps it was the drive (a new USB 3.0 that worked yesterday)... I tried changing the cable, changing the drive, even changing from a USB 3.0 drive to a FW 800 drive. All show up on my desktop, as well as in other applications (including After Effects, and "other" editing platforms) etc... but none are showing up in Premiere Pro.
FWIW, I tried in both Premiere Pro CC as well as Premiere Pro CS6. I have tried rebooting the computer, creating new projects, holding down the option key while starting Premiere, using Digital Rebellion's CS Repair... all to no avail. Any thoughts?
My system is a MacBook Pro (late 2011), 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7 with 16 GB Ram, running Mac OS X 10.8.5

Mar 19, 2014The capture went just fine when digitizing my tape and the .mov file has both audio and video during playback in both quick time and Adobe Premeir Pro, but when I drag it into the time line only audio will show up. Even weirder it's 4 layers of audio instead of just one audio and one video. This only began with videos that I catured today. When using footage I captured on a previous day it works just fine. What went wrong? Where's my video!?

No wonder people are switching sides to Avid or Apple. But that's hardly suprising in this marketing world.
Ok so basically I've been working on a project similar to all the other projects in the last months. Nothing fancy: a simple green screen keying, some added titles and a bit of Colour Correcting and audio EQ.
Everything looks fine in the project: both reference and monitor ouputs looks pefectly fine. Until the actual render is reviewed and then the **** hits the fan! I've added screenshots below. Using latest version of Premiere on OSX, only using native plugins and exporting as H.264 MP4 optimised for Vimeo streaming.

Feb 11, 2014So I got a new mac and since I have not been able to export anything. I've reinstalled everything, updated it and fenagled with all the settings but nothing seems to stop it. I am using the latest verton of Mavericks and it only happens when I hit export to media.I also checked adobe media encoder and that gets the same error message and cause.

Dec 12, 2013I'm trying to export a sequence as XML, but no matter what I try, it exports the wrong sequence. I've tried selecting the sequence in the project panel, then hitting export, and I've also tried opening the timeline and exporting from there.
The sequence being exported is actually used at one point in the sequence I want to export, otherwise I would just delete it temporarily. I'm using Premiere CC 7.2.

Mar 23, 2014I am trying to export a 15 minute film, with a LOT of audio clips to OMF for ProTools. The exporting "hangs" during the process when it encounters a certain file-name. The filename is gibberish, so I have not the slightest idea, which file it is, or where on the timeline I could look for it.
Another problem seem to be nested audio sequences can't be exported. Am I correct in assuming that I will have to replace every single clip by hand?

Premiere Pro :: Export Settings For DVD?
Feb 21, 2014I just finished editing a 67 minute documentary, and I'm preparing to send it to the replication company. The problem I'm running into is that the project looks very clear and clean in premiere pro, however as soon as I export and burn it to a disc via encore, the finished video is noticibly pixelated/grainy, and a lower quality.
The footage was shot in HD. I've tried exporting MPEG-DVD and MPEG so far. The MPEG-DVD setting was worse than MPEG, but that wasn't great.
Is there anything I can try to get this footage to look better? (It's due at the replication company on Tuesday.)

Premiere Pro :: Multicam Editing During Export CC
Feb 28, 2014i have been working on a pretty long multicam project (About 1h45m) in Premiere Pro CC.I was all done, and during export in Media Encoder i noticed that after about 45m of rendering, the preview window was still showing the beginning of the video. Upon further inspection, i noticed that the video appeared to be Looping. Sencing that something was wrong, i cancelled my render and reopened my project.
when the project reopened i could see that after a couple of edits, there were little white triangles and the top of the clips. I need to stress that before i started rendering, these triangles where not there.
And yes, when i played through my sequence, at every edit (camera change) the multicam clip would play from the beginning again. i have tried to remove everything after where this problem occurs and then drag the footage out. It does allow me to do edits again and it works fine, but i dont really want to spend hours doing it again, not understanding what the problem is and run the risk of it messing up again.

Jan 24, 2014I'm having a major issue exporting a sequence out of premier pro CS5 that contains high res jpeg images. The system freezes up during the export. I've been successful exporting the sequence to H.264 (vimeo HD preset) after removing the jpeg. So, I am fairly confident it I've isolated the issue. However, I've gone over the recommended jpeg file sizes for premier pro and am well within the guidelines. The images I'm using are saved at a resolution of 300dpi with a size of about 5600 (w) x 3700 (h) pixels for an average of about 61 megapixels per image. The sequence plays just fine within premier pro. There is only a problem when I go to export.

Feb 9, 2014I'm trying to export a video as MP4, 1280x720 but when I attempt to adjust the frame height/width to this, I get a message that says "Frame dimension not supported: Please check that both width/height values are within limits." Aspect ratio is 16:9 and frame rate is is 60. When I export it as AVI, I don't get this same problem, but the file is HUGE so I'm trying to export as MP4. Also the filepath for MP4 comes up as .gp.
