I just bought 2 software licenses (for Illustrator CS6 and Photoshop CS6), but I can't find on adobe website where to download Illustrator CS6 and Photoshop CS6, I just find CC versions, but my serial numbers don't work for CC versions.

I'm pretty sure I can use my existing licence on 2 devices, seeing as I will only use one at a time. My serial key is for cs5.1 but the only Photoshop download link I can find is for CS6. I want to reload it onto my new laptop but cannot find a download version of PS CS4 (no disk) any longer out on the internet or at least from a trustworthy site. I have the serial number from the active program. I have the original activation key. I could only find an Arabic CS4 version out on C/NET but my activation key numbers are coming up as invalid. I had to do a software reinstall of my old laptop a year or so ago and was still able to use my original activation key. That was when I could still find a US version of PS CS4. I've tried to deactivate my current software on my old laptop with no luck. My theory is my activation key code will only work on a US version of Photoshop CS4.I can be pointed to a place where I can download a US version of PS CS4 and that my activation key will work.

i can use it in Illustrator CC, which I download, installed and updated at the same time as my Photoshop CC. I have checked the CC updater and it tells me my software is up to date.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been using an AI template to produce a lot of art as SVGs. The source Illustrator file has a bottom art layer, and several layers above that (6) which have a small PNG image that is basically a simple gray button. The same PNG is shown as embedded 6 times and then saved out as an SVG with the options of Profile: SVG 1.1; Type: Convert to outline; Image Location: Embed; CSS Properties: Presentation Attributes; Decimal Places: 3; Encoding: Unicode (UTF-8) and Include XMP is checked.
Some of these resulting files have since stopped working, and upon opening, display the error "Could not find link "05AE065BE.png".
The file is not linked, and the requested file name is generated randomly. The file shows no gray button PNGs, just the empty sublayer that they are on.
I've gone round and round on how this is happening, and have only found information on file character limits and even file path character limits, and server character limits. The file name of the embedded PNG is 27 characters, and the crazy file path and file name totals 137 characters.
Why would an embedded file be causing a linking error and random renaming of the embedded file? And also, why is it only happening on some of the files and not all of them? They are built identically within minutes and batch processed!
I'm trying to find a way to get the links and link statuses in Adobe Illustrator. It doesn't seem to be at all similar to InDesign DOM.
What I'd like to be able to do is check whether a file has a missing link. I have been able to trace it to a "placedItem" which is inherently a "pageItem". So is it possible to find the link status? Been going through the DOM for about a half hour now and still can't find it.

I didn't know there was a special way to delete adobe application so i just dragged it into a program called app cleaner and it deleted all the files. But it won't let me put cs6 photoshop on my computer because it still thinks i have cs6 photoshop beta. how can i get photoshop back onto my computer.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm messing around with tables and data links, practicing. I copied a range of cells in Excel, and did paste special to create a linked table.
Now I can delete the table object, but I cannot delete the link, cannot detach it.
When in Data Manager if I right click on the data link and click delete I get the error message "The data link is being used and cannot be deleted".
I have tried detaching, and the detach does not seem to take.
Now also, the table will not update from the source xls.
Win XP, AcadLT 2011, Office 2010. Using compatible setting for saving spreadsheet, for Office 2007 (not xlsx).
If I create a linked table by starting with the Table icon, choose "from a data link", choose the excel spreadsheet, etc., then I am able to later update the table from the spreadsheet, detach, delete the link, etc. But I can only delete the link if the table is not selected when I open the Data Link Manager.
But the one that was created following the directions from the Autocad video, with the copy, paste special, that link will not detach nor delete.
download elements 11, but it's not supported. I don't want lightroom...I'm not really sure what my options are- I'm looking for something as recent to elements 11 as i can...

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm running CS5.5 student edition on a brand new Asus Q500A laptop running Windows 8. i7 processor and a UMA graphics card. I do not have calibration software; I'm using Calibrize for the moment and colors appear fairly true when browsing after calibration.
My problem is that overall colors in Photoshop appear more saturated than those in regular browser windows, particularly reds. I set up my computer to run the Win8 photos app and my desktop with Photoshop simultaneously and the color difference was immediately noticeable. I did a quick screen grab to show the difference; the inset photo is the one viewed in Win8's photos app, and the background is the exact same photo open in Photoshop.
This is the second install of this program. I originally installed it on a Dell Inspiron with a DuoCore processor (way out of spec, I know - that's why I upgraded!) and I seem to remember having this issue then, too. I found a way to correct it, but I don't remember how I fixed it and Photoshop is no longer on that machine so I can't look over my settings.
