My video clips play in sequence with thumbnails in full screen view, but freeze and shutdown software in slideshow mode. My goal is to burn slides and clips and show on TV via dvd player. Why does everything work fine in full screen mode and not in slideshow mode?
I have Adobe Premier and Photoshop and I am trying to make a slideshow with pictures and video, but there is no sound in my video clips. What could be the problem. I have edited and created the pictures in the photoshop, but when I add a video clip from my files, it plays with no sound.
In making a slideshow the default format appears to be .wmv. I have devices that do not recognize either .wmv files or the release that is used in Elements 11. Can I choose to save my slideshow as a .mp4 or .avi format directly from Elements 11?
Trying to finish up first video project shot with 5D MK11 in 1080p.
I had to convert all clips to smart objects it seems to adjust highlights.
I had rendered the project once to 1080P but forgot part of one clip and dragged it into PS.
It is the exact same size but is not positioned correctly and I lose part of the right edge.
I thought it would fix itself with rendering it to 1080P as the image and canvas size are identical and from the same shoot--but it didn't.I hit "fit in screen" or actual pixels but not sure that matters.
Check out this video I put together for this question,

As you can see I'm just playing around w/ the effect/amounts etc.
I had to manually apply this effect at every frame in the Photoshop's Timeline, which takes a to long... I would love to do it to whole clips. What's the best workflow for that?
A way I tried w little success before was to split the clip into individual frames, (forget how to do that) & then apply a batch command to all the pics, I remember trying this method & it not working w/ Oil Paint effect.
Assume a youtube video played in an internet browser. What is the best way to capture a still image from inside a browser like IE? Does PS CS6 have this ability? What other Adobe product?
I am compiling a slideshow that has a combination of still photos and videos. I have no problem changing the duration for indiviual photos. However, for the video clips, I cannot get the duration to change from the default setting for the entire slideshow. how I can change the duration for a video clip in a slideshow?
I'm using CS6 13.0.4 x64. I want to create a very basic slideshow that includes both still images and video clips. I have read this is possible but can find no specifics.
Ever since I switched to Photoshop Elements 10 and subsequently 11 (both are on my computer), I have been unable to add music media.
I copied ALL of my music CDs to my hard drive and to my iphone etc. They are there and I can play them. I have been unable to add my music. For example this is what happens when I am in Photoshop Elements 10 slideshow:
* ADD MEDIA * Audio from folder * iTunes * iTunes Media * Music from CDs * every folder I try returns the message "no items match your search".
I've got a 30 second piece of video in which a logo on a wall needs to be erased. I used the patch tool and it did a wonderful job, but only on the first frame of the clip.
I want to select an area of video and use a filter on it but maintain that filter all through the video. Currently when I try to use a selection and a filter (blur filter) it will only let me effect one frame at a time. The one frame is under the affected video area. How do I extend that one selection and frame all through the video clip?
I created a DVD with is made of video and and a slideshow. The slideshow works fine within VideoStudio but once burnt on the DVD it does not work, the music plays on a black screen. The rest of the footage works fine, what could have happened?
I put together some vacation photos in a slideshow. What is the difference in rendering them in "DVD Video" or "DVD Slideshow"? Don't they both do the same thing?
In Lightroom 4 we could create custom video presets for slideshows [URL] ..... But when I try to use the presets in Lightroom 5 they do not show up (even though on the dialogue box for exporting a slideshow they are still called video presets).
how to write a custom slideshow video preset for Lightroom 5?
I see if I apply and adjustment layer, it works for the whole clip but any filter outside of that or rubber stamp only lasts for a few frames. How do I apply them to the entire clip?
Can I edit a video clip in PRE 12 and save the clip in place of the original clip, with the same file name, without going through the Project" program?
Working with a 1080p/60fps mp4 file from my GoPro 3. Trying to save a trimmed clip using "same as first video clip" option. Everything seems to work fine but the saved clip plays for a second and then the video freezes but the audio continues. This happens playing the clip with WMP and VSx6. The original untrimmed mp4 plays fine.
In using Lightroom 5.2 Slideshow (current version), I can export PDF and Jpeg versions of the Slideshow which look good. When I add music and Export Video slideshow the exposure goes up by +1.5 to +2.
I have gone to "Preferences", "Presets", "Store presets with this catalog" (checked)
I am usin the trial version of VideoStudio. After a lot of fiddling about (VideoStudio didn't recognize my camcorder) I was able to see my video clips in VideoStudio by placing my memory card in an external card reader. Whilst all the clips appear, VideoStudio informs me that there are no valid video clips.
I'm editing MTS files/AVCHD. Footage filmed with a panasonic cam, using Pro 6, when I hit share tab - create video file - I have many choices but I would like to save it as high format as the original, so do I hit , (Same as First Video Clip) or (AVCHD) both are nearly the same I'm guessing, I've saved in both formats and both ended up been the same size. What one I should save to ? I have added the properties of the original file.
