Photoshop :: Making The Picture "dissappear" Around The Edges
May 23, 2006
like a gradient >to transparent, where the picture sort of "dissappears" around the edges rather than having a solid shape. I tried with the gradient tool -radial and linear (masking the image) but can´t get it to work. all i could achieve is what u can see in the attachment.
I have photoshop 5.5 and need to round of the edges to several photographs for a website.
Also as a side note, I am using this at work and at home I am not sure what version I have, but it came with my scanner. I lost my CD key and now I cannot install it or use it. Does anyone know how to replace a key? Will Adobe give me another one?
Okay I am using Photoshop CS2 on Windows. I downloaded some jpg frame images from the net. They are black and white mask image I want to apply this frame/border to my personal images. Is there a simple way to do this?
I would like to make a picture using I think it´s the airbrush but I don´t know which on how to make it blend in with the background or make it tend to transparency (alfa->0) I havn´t got any examples at this moment but if you don´t get what I tend to write I´ll look for an example on the web.
I am trying to take a image from one picture to move to another picture using the lasso tool I keep trying to use the lasso tool and when I'm done it automatically resizes its self to a size I don't want. How do I get it to stay the size I put it at. My goal is to fade the edges and then slide it over to another picture but the whole picture slides over instead of the lasso section.
how I can make a picture look more clear and better quailty. I also want to know how I can make this the electric in the better look more realstic or better if possible?
I took a picture of a wall recently and thought it would look better with pockmarks. I found such a facility in one of my art programs and I think it was Photoshop Elements 9. I tried to use this facility yesterday but could I find this feature? No way. I looked carefully through all my art programs and it was nowhere to be found. I even uninstalled PSE 9 and 11 and reinstalled PSE 9 but still couldn't find this feature. Where had I come across this feature before? Had it been a plug in? I searched up and down the internet for plugins but couldn't find anything that rang any bells. I googled 'pockmarks' but just got plugins for removing them from faces. I've spent the last 24 hours thinking of and investigating every possibility to no avail. Now I'm exhausted.
[URL] how to fade the edges in the way I want to, I can fade them one by one in each layer and then select all, but the result is very unsymmetrical, and the fade effect starts to late and it's in too much quantity.
I am trying to make invitations and I want to put a picture thats very light and faded in the background. then on top of that i will write in invite info.
I have a picture that I would like to make black and white but with some colour. From what I can gather, I've to make the picture black and white and then add the colour to the bits I need after, however, the bit I want to remain in colour is a flower and the way the light hits it, the red is in different shades, making it impossible for me to colour it back exactly how it is.
Is there a simpler way...like select the parts I want to go black and white?
I have burnt a DVD from an .mpg file. The file itself play fine in VSX2PRO as well as computer media players. The burnt DVD plays fine on the computer as well.
When I play it on a DVD player & TV I lose about 6 or 7 percent of the picture edges all the way round. I have tried it in 3 different DVD player/TV combinations with same results.
I have tried burning with VS itself & Nero - same results. It is relevant as the file is of still with text that goes very close to the edge.
I have cut out a picture of a rose using the ellipse tool. It is now in the shape of a circle. All I want to do is fade the edges of it, so they are blurred.
how to make the twisted grid effect in the background of the below picture. I am talking about the structure in the background the one starting orange on the right fading into pink than blue .Am using photoshop CS6.
When you zoom into the picture that's being edited, scrollbars appear but you can scroll only to the edge of the picture, pixel in pixel this way it's pretty hard to capture the edges with selectionÂ
How to add a free space to all sides so it will be possible to move edges of the picture to the center of the screen and work with them easily?
Ok, so in photoshop there is this thing that when i resize or move around an image it will "stick" to the edges of the canvas allowing for an easier alignment, but this doesn't seem to be the case with gimp, so my question is: is there a way to activate those "sticky edges" in gimp while resizing a picture?
I have a static picture, and a already-made gif from a friend.I want to put the animated gif INTO the static picture, and make it a new gif. Â As in, the original animated gif remains animated and functions all the same, but basically now it is just part of a photo which remains still. For example, my specific idea currently is a photograph of my city I took, but I want to put the animated gif over a billboard that is in the photo.
In the picture attachted there is a compostition I made through PhotoScape (I just have come from this software). How to do it in PaintShop X4. My traditional-old steps:
a) First I applied in each photo picture a picture frame (like a shadow).
b) Second I join all photo picture and logos in a big picture.
c) I inserted titles (people name) bellow each photo.
d) To conclude I applied a picture frame to the big picture (in PhotoScape this frame is called “shadow border”).
Just a comment: It seems Corel PaintShop has mostly “cartoon” picture frames. I tried to find out something like “PhotoScape shadow border” without success. Is there something similar available in PaintShop? Is it possible to add new picture frames to the PaintShop library?
So basically, I created coloured text inside Adobe Illustrator and however much I zoom into the text, the text always appears to have smooth edges. Once I click on 'Save For Web', the edge all around the text becomes rough and aliased. I chose GIF and PNG, but it still happens. The text is on a transparency background. The same problem applies to images when I am creating a logo.
I thought this was going to be a piece of cake in the new Illustrator CC but I am having a few unanticipated issues:)I need to create some vector tire images with different edges, such as the top one in the image below. So I thought this would be SO easy by simply creating a pattern brush in Illustrator and then using that for the outside. So I created the shape you see in the middle image below and created a pattern brush with this shape.I then created an ellipse and used the new brush for the outline. Â All of those are open paths...it has taken the shape and applied it to the outline but has kept each shape separate, so I am not able to fill the circle in black. I could of course go in and manually join each little corner separately where the little shapes meet but this will take FOREVER with all the images I have to do.
