View 2 RepliesI would like to change the flags in the coat of arms of Colombia with another flag.
This is the coat of arms of Colombia (2000px, 2000 x 2034):
And I would like to replace the flags with this flag:
how i can merge two flags side by side together?.
What i what is the end of the first flag and the start of the second flag to have a slightly faded look and they both are joined together.
how the two flages tied togather?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'll need to move computers soon and I rely heavily on status flags, you know, Ctrl1, Ctrl2 etc to sort and prioritize my tens of thousands of images. I understand that if I set up my computers (Vista to Vista move) and install Photoshop CS4 and after that Transfer Files and Settings -
the info in Bridge (at least for the directory stucture for the old computer) will move over to the new computer. Has anyone actually tried this? It would be devastating if the Flags didn't transfer over - it would cost untold work.
Can I remove all red flags globally? All in folder? (LIghtroom 3)
Â
Can all flags in a folder be reassigned at once? For example, changing all currnent red flags to purple?
I have just upgraded to lightroom 4 and can not see the flags in the film strip. They are checked in the preferences as on, but they don't show. Also some folders say no photo selected in a folder, while there are photo's inside?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the latest LR 4.1 on a Mac. I'm working on a catalog of 3002 images. I've flagged some that I wanted to retouch. Then the retouched one, I give them the 5 star status. So, when I work, I just turn on the FLAGGED filters to see the pictures I previsouly selected. Now, I wanted to go back to ALL my image. So, I thought it would have been as easy as selecting: FILTERS OFF at the bottom right menu in the LIBRARY MODULE, but that doesn't change much. Acutally, I think it doesn't change anything. So, I thought, ok, I'll turn the little switch next to the FILTER menu. I see then FILTERS OFF. That doesn't change a thing ! So, I know I have 3000 images, but I'm stuck inside a catalog that doesn't allow me to see them (?) I realized that by pressing the little flags next to this menu, it gives me 3 options:
- FILTER BASED ON FLAG STATUS
- FILTER BASED ON FLAG STATUS (UNFLAGGED ONLY)
- FILTER BASED ON FLAG STATUS (REJECTED ONLY)
But none seems to really get seeing all my picture, flagged and unflagged one.
Â
How can I just see all the photos, flagged and unflagged together ?
When I remove a folder from my catalog and re-import it later Lr has saved all of my adjustments, color labels, star ratings, etc. However, Lr doesn't save the flag status. In other words it removes all the flags.
Â
I'm using Lr 4.3
Â
NEF (raw) files.
Â
The sidecar files are all present.
Running LR 3.5 v5.1 XP. All view options are checked, doesn't show if cropped, adjustments, pick, etc. And, it doesn't show in Grid view. Works well in LR 3.4.1 v6.1.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI do most of my work on my desktop, and all the files are held there with xmp files. On my laptop, I import the photos in their folders, but leave the files on the desktop, and I am now going to be doing that more with the new smart preview option.
Â
The one problem I have, though, is that the pick flags are not in the metadata, and therefore don't cross to the laptop. Is there any way this can be done? I use the laptop to show others, and to allow them to choose the photos they want, so it would be good to have the flags and the colour badges, and for the traffic to go in both directions.
I have a catalog of an event which spanned over a few days, and so I made a few collections. I made collection sets for Day 1, Day 2, etc, and in those collection sets I have two folders - General and People.
Â
When I enter say, the General collection for Day 3 and I flag a photo in there as 'rejected', the photo when viewed in 'All photographs' does not show the Rejected flag.
How can i print contactsheets with labels, flags, stars.... in the print? I 'm working on a collection of + 7.000 files and i need a printed catalog of all the files with all the selection marks on the file.
Working with LR 4 on mac
I had to do a new install of Lightroom 3 due to a malware attack on Windows 7. When I attempt to restore the catalog, I get empty images with keywords and flags. How do I fix it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen i use lightroom on 2 monitors i look mostly at the loupe view on the second monitor to judge or cull my pictures. I can see the resultant stars, colors and reject flags on the grid view on the primary monitor. but i cant see the ratings on the loupe view. I sometimes get confused as to whether i actually rated or color coded a particular photo in a similar series, but i have to look back at the primary monitor to make sure. Am I missing something? Is there some way to have a large view of the picture but include rating info on the same screen?

The fire just comes out looking fake.
i'm working on my little b&w artwork only using photoshop (see below). now i try to add some shadow to the figure. this shadow should look quite realistic.
in the image you see the figure four times. original top left. in three steps i tried to get the shadow but somehow it doesn't look good enough.
I cant animate anyhting in ImageReady anymore, because what ever I do in one frame happen in the others. I used that 2-up thingy so you can see 2 frames clearly.

Looks real in the factory sealed box but how can I know for sure? Also the seller has Positive feedback from other buyers for this same software.
View 20 Replies View RelatedIf I take an image that's 8 bits/channel and convert it to 16 bits/channel, Photoshop will tell me I have a 16 bits/channel image, even though it only contains 8 bits/channel of real information (I suppose the other 8 bits are all zero).
If someone gives me a 16 bits/channel image, is there any way that I check how many bits/channel of real information there are in it?
8 and 16 bits aren't the only options. For instance, I believe my Nikon CoolScan V ED film scanner is documented as providing 14 bits/channel. And, of course, some images may have fewer than 8 bits/channel.
You see the three guys that look different from the real photo image guy.
How do I make that look or effect?
How do i remake this type of reflective image?

View 3 Replies View Relatedplanning on designing some artwork for a DVD menu that we want to shoot some photos for. However, we want those photos to be in a specific style, namely japanese manga (japanese comics). I suggested the idea of shooting some pictures first, then editing them in Photoshop to make it look as though they were drawn by a manga-artist.
