View 7 RepliesI'm sure you didn't understand what i meant by "advanced" but i created a video of me saying everything i'm trying to make.
it's forbidden for me to post links till i post 5 messages. ok then, so here's the deal. i have a 10 seconds video clip with some folks dancing in it. i wanna put my friends heads as a still picture instead of original ones in the video. so bodies and whole video will keep moving but the heads will be still pictures.
I took a series of photos that would make a nice animated GIF if I can align the pictures. I could try to do this by eye, but it would not work very well. Is there a way I can use photoshop to line up the pictures so they superimpose properly to make the animated GIF?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a static picture, and a already-made gif from a friend.I want to put the animated gif INTO the static picture, and make it a new gif.
As in, the original animated gif remains animated and functions all the same, but basically now it is just part of a photo which remains still. For example, my specific idea currently is a photograph of my city I took, but I want to put the animated gif over a billboard that is in the photo.
how to create an animated water texture? It'd basically be like the image below (pretend its square), except it would shimmer and move about in a wavey manner. It'll be used in a 3d app as a simple water texture overlaid on polygons.

I want to make an animated gif with team logos. I know that I need to put all the images of the animated gif into a photoshop file first with layers, but how do I place my gif images onto the photoshop file? Photoshop only allows you to place AI, EPS, PDF, and PDP files.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm wanting to form a heart with the word "CRISIS" for a marketing project. I've seen tutorials showing how to wrap text around or shape or inlay it inside an image, but i'm just wanting to form an actual HEART with only the word "CRISIS". This is for a charity Crisis Center we're aiding in developing a new marketing campaign.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm making a poster for a friend of mine, and he wants the earth to be heart shaped.
I have a picture of the earth, opened in photoshop. My question is, how do I make it heart shaped.
I tried creating another layer, and using the custom shape thing to create a heart, and then tried clone stamping the earth pic into the heart, but it didn't work. The error I got was;
"could not use clone stamp because content of layer is not directly editable"
Is there a way to make the earth into a heart shape?

I'm using photoshop 6
Here is a little video that I did some time ago for Xara-Users on how to create a heart in Xara's drawing products. Any of the products with 'designer' in the name will do. There are 3 different methods for drawing a heart in this tutorial. My personal favorite is the square and two circles technique, but to each his own.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've got some pictures and Corel Paintshop photo pro x3. It's a nice program but I cant figure out how to crop photos into shapes without using the "lasso". My hand isn't so great with fine shapes so any way to cut a shape by using one of the presets?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI do a lot of design for engraving and most of the items are odd shapes that I wish to fill with design. I wish to engrave a name in block letters on a heart shaped locket. I wish for the name itself, to be in the form of the heart. I know I can put a mold on the name and play with the handles to sort of get it close to a heart shape, but it occurred to me that it would be real nice to simply drop a photo of the item into the file, do a nice outline of the item with the pen tool or shape tool and after getting a real good outline...to just make that shape into a mold I could save and use to apply to most anything I wish to mold into a heart shaped form. Is there a way to make a shape outline...any unfilled shape into a "mold" and not have to play with the preset mold shapes that are found in the mold tool? Any way to save it once you went to the trouble of making it? I had hoped there would simply be a right click on the shape and a menu button saying "use as mold" or such. Another menu choice with "save as mold"...that would put the icing on the cake..

I recently lost a pet and want to use a photo of her as a tribute. What I'd like to do is to crop a heart shape of her face and layer that into a white background. The question I have is: how on earth do you draw a perfect heart using the lasso?
View 2 Replies View Related*tl;dr- Easy way to take the frames of a GIF and change them to a BMP (there are about 40 frames per Action) So- My friend was learning Java to build a game on Android while I would create the graphical resources. It will be a fighting game- so I went ahead and made animations for the moves and all the characters.
understanding the language so I thought I would go ahead and teach myself as well. I read faster than him- and I got to a point where I find out that graphical resources have to be in BMP (or so the author tells me) and that each frame in gif is a seperate BMP. So- is there an *Photoshop CS6 Willing to get on the cloud or something for the other CS programs.
I want to have my website and phone number rotating on the x-axis as an animated GIF. Is there a simple way to do this in Photoshop that I'm just missing?
I'd like to be able to insert the GIF in a movie project I've started in Sony Vegas.
I know there are probably countless topics regarding animated gifs and i search for them but couldn't find what i was looking for. I want to make a AIM Buddy Icon. I'm semi-experienced with Photoshop but I realize i need image ready to make animations.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to make an animated gif where an object starts at one end of the logo text and moves across and back. During the across and back I want to use the motion blur filter to simulate motion on the image.
I want the at symblol below to move across the logo text and then back. On the far right image and the far left image I want it to look regular (no effect) then all the tween ones I want to have a motion blur.
I have a video (.mov) and I opened image ready, made the animated gif. So i have a functioning animated gif of a hockey fight. I also have a pre-made .psd for my signature which includes a background, and another image. I have several problems.
I can transfer the gif over, and put it on the PSD.
1) The file size goes from 2.7mb to 112mb. ... WTF?
2) When i try and save it, it will only save the current layer/frame of what it sees. Therefor no more animated gif.
3) Also, how do I change the opacity of this? I would like to layer mask the finished product, then reveal using the brush with an opacity of about 75%, but the option is not available with linked-layers.
I downloaded a gif and opened it in Image Ready and proceeded to modify the nine frames it had to show a different face than the one it had.
After every frame mod I ran it in ImageReady to make sure it was working ok.
Once I had completed the mod I ran it again and it worked perfectly I then "Save Optimized As" and gave it a title and downloaded it to my desktop.
From there I opened it up in Safari to see if it worked ok and it worked but the face which had been so clear in ImageReady was now all spreckled with dots.
I tried to open it in ImageReady again and got the same results it was now spreckled with dots.
The original image was a black and white and the face I added was in colour but not sure if that would cause a problem seeing as it worked ok in ImageReady. I have added 2 pics so you can see the difference.
I am using a G4 Mac with PS-CS2
I am working on a art project where the main theme is human anatomy, and I am using Adobe Photoshop and Imageready to help me. I have made a animated gif, but am having trouble fading the layers into each other.
I was unable to upload it to imageshack or similiar due to its large size.
I have been trying to create a animated .gif with photoshop cs & imageready cs. I get all of the frames and everything the way I want and when I go to save as a Optimized .gif I only have options to save as "html" & "images only .gif"
way to save this so I get the animated .gif?
