I have an hp laptop, less than a year old -- I'm surprised this is a problem! The model is dv4-1125nr -- I have an intell chipset 4500 something or other as a graphics card. is there REALLY no way for me to be able to rotate an image? Interestingly, the 3D WORKS, but rotating an image doesn't ... ?
View 7 RepliesI have saved my individual workspace in the correct way, but when required, it is impossible to re-load the saved version. The only option I have is to re-create the whole individual workspace time and time again, whenever it gets lost. This is something I have noticed with all photoshop versions I have worked with, and I am now on CS6. How to re-load a saved workspace manually?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an issue with openings not being able to be phased. Â In renovation projects it is quite common to widen an existing wall opening, for example. Â However, openings cannot be phased, they can only be existing and therefore the only workaround is to add the 'new' opening, with its eventual width, in the 'as existing' view set and close it to the 'existing' width with a wall, or walls, that can be then be demolished in the 'new construction' views!

This has happened to me a number of times. Photoshop CC prevents me from rotating the object, I can still move the camera around but not rotate. I cant even select the 3D object. Ive check and caps lock is not on.

I want to rotate a layer, in this case the background. The Help says "Choose Edit > Transform > Rotate. A box defining the boundaries of the layer (called a bounding box) appears." No. There is no such command. There is a command Free Transform Path and a menu Transform Path, the latter with a command Rotate, but this refers to paths, not to layers.
This is CS5, version 12.1-64 on Mac 10.6.8
I never had problems using the cropping tool to rotate an image to straighten it and then crop. Now in windows all my cropping tool wants to do instead of rotate is SKEW! What is up?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm using PSCS and I can't get the entire canvas to rotate 90 degrees or flip vertically or horizontally (see attached screen shot). In fact Edit>Transform is dimmed unless I Select All, but then I lose part of the image unless I stop, make a bigger canvas, select all, rotate and deselect. Another workaround is, I can make the background layer into an O layer and then I can flip and rotate, but again,only the image moves, not the canvas. I used to be able to do it but not since I re-installed PSCS.

I have an image in which I want to rotate one component some arbitrary number of degrees along a horizontal axis without changing any other part of the image. For example, if I have an image with a tobacco pipe in someone's mouth, the pipe stem is a horizontal axis.Â
The pipe bowl is normally vertical at the end of the stem. I want to rotate the pipe along the stem some number of degrees so that the bowl would be at 45 degrees rather than 90 degrees relative to vertical, or so that the viewer might be looking into the bowl of the pipe. Can that be done in CS6? If so, how?
i can nudge with the arrow keys when moving an image but can't nudge rotate an image, the arrow keys will only move the image up and down or left to right.

My graphics cards are supported " ATI Radeon HD 5770 " this is an adobe issue as it comes and goes, the same files will allow and then 5 min later refuse to rotate saying that I need to have open GL.
