about creating fire effects to a text. well i took it to another step and made it a gif animation. maybe its already done, but for a beginner sucuh as me, i thought it was really cool.
i have this image i rendered in 3D, but i want to make the fire effect at the end of the barrel on some guns. Can anyone help or have a link to a tutorial or just briefly explain? I've been using photoshop for about 3-4 years, and i'm quite familiar with all the tools and everything.
How to make a fire text and didnt see what i wanted.I tried to follow a certain ones instructions numerous times and for some reason its not turning out the way its explained. How i can make it look like this picture?.............
To make this you will need a very basic understanding of the workings of GIMP, as well as have GAP.Download GAP here. This has been made after many tweaks and changes from this tutorial, anything related to that tutorial on this tutorial I give him credit for (This includes the main method of fire creation and the colors) I also give much credit to ccbarr for finding a way to keep an even and never skipping fire :)
First create a new 500x100 transparent image. Then set the foreground color to #ff8400 (orange) and the background color to #000000 (black). Then select the gradient tool on "The GIMP" window, use the gradient 'FG to BG (RBG)' and make a gradient from the very bottom to the very top of the Background layer.
Now, make a new window (File -> New). Use the parameters 500x200.Go to Filters -> Render -> Clouds -> Solid Noise and use the following settings on the Layer you just created.
Now Create another Layer just like the last one, but this time named "Upper Flame".Do another Solid Noise, Filters -> Render -> Clouds -> Solid Noise, using the following Settings.
think it makes it look better. Select the upper flame layer and go to Layer -> Colors -> Colorize and click on the 'Hue' bar, and send it about halfway between the middle and the right side, to give the fire a redder look. For the reddest effect push that bar all the way to the right
Am trying to make a fire effect in Corel x6 using vectors ...i can draw them ok but the need to be smoothed/blended together to look good ..i have tried using the blend tool & it's ok ...& the new smear tool doesn't blend as such ..the smudge tool appears almost pointless ..so.is there a way to blend the colours together?
I have adobe photoshop cs2. I am just now learing how to use PS. I have the basics down. I am trying to add some effects to my personal photos. I want to be able to take a photo of myself and remove the background put it on a black bacground and create some sort of fire aura.
I would like to know how to create a beam of fire....or an object surrounded by a ring of fire.....not unlike one in strych9ine's avatar. Maybe he would be able to explain it better.
I need to make an explosion effect in photoshop. I can't seem to make my sun have more depth and volume.. so that it's explosion has this 3d effect. how to add more puffiness around it and add more black to it making it more realistic...
i'm trying to create a rounded image... like a cd design... do anyone of you know how to make a realistic fire effect that is going round? circle of fire thingy...
i'm making a design for a cd... making a fire design for the cd... i used cool colors for the fire design... blue, green, yellow, orange and red... somewhat like a cool flame... but the problem is it turned out to look like a flower
how i can make a cool flames design that is rounded for the cd?
During the process of creating my FIRE image, I saved the Liquify distortion (.msh file) to my computer. I've now gone back to the directory to use it. It's clearly listed there (Fire3-Liquify.msh), but when I click on it, Photoshop refused to open it saying:
"Photoshop could not open this document because it is not the right kind of document."
When I try to open it directly from within Photoshop by opening the directory in question, it does not even show it, not even if I set the Types of File to ALL FILES.
What gives? What am I doing wrong? I thought the distortion mesh file was supposed to allow me to reconstruct my Fire image and start from that advanced step instead of starting from the beginning.
i've been using this little tutorial to try and design a logo for some friends, but i've got to the stage 6 as it is listed on there, and my hidden layer gets discarded when i try and convert from grayscale- to indexed colour, i get the message "flatten visible layers and discard hidden layers",
I can either click okidily dokidily or no, and the latter it just brings me back to where i was a few seconds ago.
I just made a fire text on a black background. I created a new layer for the text and then customized. I don't want a black background I want white. I would just start over on a white background but the effects don't look as good.
I was able to do the fire technique and had a great time. What I want to do is kick it up a notch and make a youth sports poster with Fire (just for my kids team). I want to have fire surrounding the kids (big wall of fire in the background) Not really sure how to do it. I know I can follow the directions with the text and take it a bit further, but hoping for a little direction to start. I have a fairly decent working knowledge with Photoshop.
