During the process of creating my FIRE image, I saved the Liquify distortion (.msh file) to my computer. I've now gone back to the directory to use it. It's clearly listed there (Fire3-Liquify.msh), but when I click on it, Photoshop refused to open it saying:
"Photoshop could not open this document because it is not the right kind of document."
When I try to open it directly from within Photoshop by opening the directory in question, it does not even show it, not even if I set the Types of File to ALL FILES.
What gives? What am I doing wrong? I thought the distortion mesh file was supposed to allow me to reconstruct my Fire image and start from that advanced step instead of starting from the beginning.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI was able to do the fire technique and had a great time. What I want to do is kick it up a notch and make a youth sports poster with Fire (just for my kids team). I want to have fire surrounding the kids (big wall of fire in the background) Not really sure how to do it. I know I can follow the directions with the text and take it a bit further, but hoping for a little direction to start. I have a fairly decent working knowledge with Photoshop.
View 9 Replies View Relatedhow to make the flames animated.
I know few things about animating through ImageReady, and I can't find anything on flames.
There will be a pic infront of the flames, so the flames are background, the image will be still. But the flames will be animated.
There will be text too, also still.
How do I set fire to text or an image with a transpenent background?
I am building a web site for a client that wants to use colorful backgound.
The client wants fire on all of his mouse over images and text.

It looks bad on the color background.
I'm searching for a FX with flames or fire. But in my version I can not find or downloading it.
