In particular the video showed a car with a colored sheet over it and the in the video the sheet was either pulled off the car or the car moved out from under the sheet (I cant remember which). Then the video showed how to use the color replace tool to change the color of the sheet throughout the entire video.

I have a solid red image and I want to change that red to an exact red hex code I have. Is there a way to change this color without affecting the quality of the image? I thought this would be really easy, but everything I've found online doesn't give me the color I want, or It doesn't allow me to be 100% accurate.

I have a question regarding illustrator. Let's say I have a circle with blue fill and red stroke. And I place an image in the illustrator file. Now I want to change the red stroke of my circle to let's say a purple color by sampling the color from the image.
How can I achieve that with a eye dropper tool? Every time when I try to sample a color from the image, the whole circle will change to purple instead of just the stroke? I have tried multiple key combination, shift, alt, ctrl but they all don't work.
I need to change the default text color to a pantone spot color.

How I choose a color for any new objects I want to create. I've opened the toolbox with ctrl-b, which appears on the left side of the window. If I want to , for example, draw a red rectangle, I use the rectangular selection tool, then the bucket fill, and I don't see how to change the foreground color to red.
I've read elsewhere in the forum that there should be two rectangles somewhere on the screen that show foreground and background color, but I don't see them anywhere.
How do I outline an image so I can change the background color without changing the image color ?

I want to change it to either a color or transparent. I am placing detailed symbols (like this).

It's with particular, multiple copies with fast blurs applied to them to give the glow and it's all pre-composed with the particle layer. Now all I want is to change the color as a whole but color balance doesn't seem to work when applied to the pre-composed layer. I even tried color balancing the particle layer itself, made an adjustment layer and applied color balance on that.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having in CS6..I have a text block with a couple of styles in it (headings have one look, body copy has another). Here and there, some words are on bold. When I select some bold words and change the color of them, some other bold words in some other paragraph also change color. Not all bold words... just some. The behavior is unpredictable, so the exact words that get changed will vary, but once it starts to happen it won't stop. When I try to manually fix the other words (hopefully I noticed them before my client!) and change them back to black, sometimes that change reverses the color on the original words too. Sometimes not; it's like the effect is sometimes two-way and sometimes one-way. It becomes a real logic puzzle sometimes, a maddening game where every change affects something else and you can't find the combination of actions that will do the simple thing you want.
I haven't noticed it happening with non-bold text, but that could just be coincidence.
When this happens, the only fix seems to be to rebuild the text from scratch in a new text box. (Copying it all and re-pasting it does not seem to work—unless possibly I paste into a different document entirely.)
to change the blue gradient to whatever color I want.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a 2004 Pontiac GTO that is getting painted soon. I've decided to go with a matte (no gloss) paint finish, but having trouble deciding between white and grey.
How to use the following images to represent what the matte grey and matte white might look like on my car.
This one is the most important example image because it is starting out with a black exterior and red interior like my car now.
Other than changing the color it might be nice to have the wing erased (removing mine before paint and leaving it off) and the wheels changed to a true black instead of grey which is my plan, but most important is just the overall color.
My car should end up looking similar to this one, including the blacked out area on the front bumper.. so this image might be useful for examples too. It is already white with black wheels, just a gloss white instead of the matte I am planning.
I am also considering blacking out a portion of the trunk area, so it would be awesome to see this photo also done with the matte grey and white to see how that would look. Also the wing could be erased, but not sure how easy that would be with this view of the car..
Here's an example of one of these cars with the wing removed
Here are the colors that I'm considering painting my car:
Grey (Matte)
White(Matte)
