View 3 RepliesI have two layers and some of the pixels in each layer are the same. I want the difference on the pixels that are not the same and for the pixels that are the same I want the result to be a transparent pixel. I have tried using the difference blend node but for pixels that are the same it returns black as the result not transparent.

Is it true that if pixel dimension is very large in size than the resolution number under document size doesn't matter ?

what the resolution is on the screen in Pixels mode? Where Corel finds the value of resolution?
View 11 Replies View RelatedArtwork is done at 5x7in, i want to export this as a PNG for print purposes however the more i increase the ppi the bigger the pixel size. I want to export it at a high resolution but keep the pixel size to 500x700.
Is this possible?
Currently to achieve the 500x700 pixel size i change the ppi to 104, if i switch off anti alias then its fine for straight lines and shapes, however if i have a line or shape at an angle it gives these shapes a jagged edge!
When I crop a picture Pixel Demensions become 6 bytes Width and Height 1 pixel each. I can no longer see the picture. How can I fix this?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have 2 SHP files, one with lot information, the other with OCP. I created a join between the two tables but the resulting data was not spatially related. The objective is to show the land use of each lot.

View 6 Replies View Relatedcould not complete your request because reading spatial/lossless JPEG files is not implemented..
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have two art objects on two layers. I want to match to the pixel the two objects that otherwise could be exactly the same but one layered object was imported slightly smaller.
The scale tool has good scale handling, I just want to measure the tool spots to the pixel to gain an exact scale size factor and match sizes.
It blows my mind that somthing this simple isnt all that simple. I used the eyedropper tool to slect a color from another photo, then used the brush while fully magnified to change the color of each pixel.
It was coming out a weird greyish color, and I noticed that if I clicked more than once, it got darker, but so did the pixels directly around the one i was editing. So, i copied both pictures, loaded them into paint, and went to town.
It worked, but then when i copied it back into photoshop, it had a black background (there was no background in the original pictures) around the sprite I was editing. I tried to use the magic wand tool to get rid of it, but it took parts of the sprite with it, so...
Is there any way that I can edit the color of a single pixel (or hell, even a group of pixels if they share the same exact color would be nice...preferred, even) accurately? If not, what program could I use that would keep the transparent background?
Is it possible to create jon between point feature and polygon feature which is not attribute based, but only geometry based.When point is inside polygon can I create automatic join between point and polygon so I can use joined attribute data table.
I know i can create "object data records" links between enclosed text and polyline but i want to do same thing using SDF format points and polygons. Can it be done without converting point feature label to text and polygon to polyline and then creating automatic links and then again converting polylines with object data to SDF format.
We have a SQL Server instance that I connect to over our network. I can access it when I log into SQL Server Management Studio. In AutoCAD Map 3D 2014 I do not have the option to "Add SQL Server Connection". I tried using the SQL Server Spatial connection but the database does not have spatial data. I only see a list of tables but they cannot be added as feature classes and display the message "The feature class doesn't exist" when I click on a table. I also don't have the SQL ServerProvider.dll in the FDO folder. I tried copying the .dll from version 2012 but it didn't work.
How do I connect to my non-spatial data in SQL Server? Is this a permissions issue?
I am running Civil 3D 2011 32 bit. We are running 9.31 ArcSDE 32 bit. I am creating a connection using SQL SERVER Spatial Connection. I can see all of the database, but when we connect and it reads the Schema it is blank.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI create a sdf file and add a squema for non feature class, for association with an existing feature class squema property.
But the table is empty andlocked with no chance of adding values. Since it has no geometry, how can I put some rows on it.
I try to import using bulk copy, but then I cant remove or add rows.
How can I insert values in a sdf table?
How can I creat a polygonal spatial object (feature classes) with symbology (showns) like that (without using additional layer)? :

I am having issues displaying some data after i have connected to it.
I am connecting to some data and have succesfully done this and can see it the data in the data table but i can not figure out how to display the information i am seeing in the data table.
I am basically connecting to my gis dept data base and wanting to view the contour data for a certain county. When i do connect to the database all i see on the screen is two large rectangles that are some sort of data but not what i was expecting and no where close to the correct coordinates

I realize the nature of my question maybe asking the impossible, but I have a low res image I downloaded from the internet, placed in an InDesign page, blew it up and printed it out. I was going for the distressed look that it has, it looks ok when I print it out considering it's low res and I blew it up fairly large. However, it's a little too pixelated to look professional when printed. Are they any tricks or things I can do to make it look higher res for print. I've attached the image as well as a screenshot of the InDesign file so you can see it in context.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI would like to export a solid assembly (or derived part of the assembly) as a Spatial Array for use in Matlab. Only a simplistic solid definition is needed such that each element of the array is either 1 or 0.
How I can achieve this and ideally how I can choose the resolution of the array?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI managed to remove the background, of an image,(A whit background) and put the image on top of a transparent layer. made a transparent image. When I place this image over a light color background, it looks fine, but when I place it over a dark color background, the edge of the image looks very rough and dirty, I think it's because some of the anti alias from the original image, how can I make it a clean image without going to delete pixel by pixel?
View 2 Replies View Related We are developing an application using functionality of Gimp´s channel mixer with java.
Our problem is that we don’t Know how channel mix works exactly for transforming pixel by pixel in Java.
For example,
We have an image an do on it the next mix:
Output Channel = Red
Red=200.0
Green=0.0
Blue=0.0
For simulate that, we transform all pixels with Red Component *2 and 255 (maximum) if is greater.
Our problem is:
Output Channel = Red
Red=200.0
Green=60.0
Blue=0.0
How can I simulate that?
i have some big .jpgs with low resolution say 10x10 inch at 72dpi.

I'm using Photoshop CS5 and as you can see on the picture below, when I set my grid line to every 1 px, grid doesn't match canvas pixel size.
Now I'm not able to draw sharp shapes using pen tool because even if I hold shift key everything gets blurry.
I'm trying to create a high resolution version of a low resolution texture used in a game. I've found a pattern that I think is acceptable, from a real image.Now the question is this: how can I colorize the large image to that it is as resemblant as possible to the original one? I've tryed a simple colorize, but the result is not so good...

When I drag around vector points of paths they are not constrained to the pixel grid, when the option "Snap Vector Tools and Transform to Pixel Grid" is off. This is the behavior I expect.BUT: When I drag whole paths, they snap to the pixel grid, no matter what. I even have snapping completely disabled.
This is particularly annoying when eg. creating a path for a zipper. I first make a path for the inside of the jacket or whatever, then I make one notch for the zipper and copy it over and over again for all the notches. It's very troubling when these elements snap to the pixel grid, because it's very unprecise then.
I downloaded CC version today, thinking it was going to upgrade/update CS6. Now I have both versions installed. I plan on removing CS6, assuming CC version is newer/better somehow.
