Photoshop :: Cs3 Trial - Vista - Won't Install
Feb 19, 2008
having trouble getting the trial i downloaded to extract onto my system. It tells me i either haven't got enough room or administritive privileges to run the set-up. Both of which aren't true.
this is the exact message i'm getting
"a problem occured while extracting some files. check available space on your computer and the write privileges on the destination folder"
I tried running that regsvr script, didn't help though.
I've now tried downloading it off of ie7 as opposed to firefox and I've got past the stage i got to previously.

I have tried three different browsers and folled the installation settings for the browsers. My system/computer meets all the requirements. when i click download nothing happens! this is ridiculous that adobe offers no solution to this in the troubleshooting and no telephone support for potential buyers.

trouble installing the Photoshop CS3 trial on my laptop. I meet all the system requirements and am currently running Windows Vista Ultimate, 32-Bit, as my OS.
Whenever I try to install, the setup window opens then immediately hits me with the error
"Critical errors were found in the setup.
- Session has dependencies that could not be satisfied.
Please see the Setup log file for details."
and then subsequently closes. And I know you would like to look at the Setup log file,

I purchased PS4 on EBAY, un-opened package, brand new, serial labels look real and cd looks real? 1st problem was CD wont install, drive dosent even recgonize it al all, Someone suggesed downloading trial then entering serial number, works 1st time, but 2nd time opening up program serial comes up in-valid. Seller said this was due to old photoshop being on my computer, and old registry files still being on system, causing serial number not to work. I had photoshop7 on my computer, I took PS7 off computer and did a registry cleaner (Eusing) This still didnt work. serial number wont work on trial download and cd will not install. Friend of mine suggesed going in and manually deleting reg files thru regedit..

I just bought Photoshop CS2 (the Polish version) on the internet. I am trying to install it on my HP Pavilion dv7-1080ew laptop. I can't get past the end part of the installation process, though. When it gets to registering (the very last part of installing), it starts rolling back the changes. I turned off my AV, tried running it as administrator, in compatibility mode for XP... still doesn't work. Is anyone else having this problem?

When I go to install a CS3 trial that came with my new tablet, it tells me:
'You can only install one Adobe product at a time. Please complete the other installation before attempting to install Adobe setup'
The only other adobeproducts currently on the computer are flash player and reader. There was Adobe PSE 6 up untill two days ago, but that was cleanly uninstalled.

having problems with installing the trial version of CS4.
My computer:
Windows XP
Service Pack 3
2.08 GHz, 512 MB RAM
I had Photoshop CS3 installed before running smoothly.
I formatted the whole computer, I have three partitions.
C: 441 MB (free space)
D: 73 GB (free space)
E: 66 GB (free space)
When I try to install CS4 and select a folder on partition D:,
it claims 'The size of the selected option exceeds the available
capacity' (translated from German). Although the installer recognizes:
Available capacity: 73 GB
Entire capacity: 1.2 GB
I only have about 9 GB of programmes on partition C:. Apart from that there is nothing on the computer.
Is maybe the RAM not sufficient for CS4?

What I had tried before:
- Installing in safe-mode = same problem
- register jscript.dll myself = same problem
- Uninstall CS3 = same problem
- Using AdobeCS3Cleaner
- Using AdobeCS3Cleaner -> found nothing...

I wanted to install the Photoshop CS6 trial, however both installation apps that are available come up with errors:With Adobe Download Assistant, after a few seconds of the message "Installing application", I get the error message: "The application could not be installed. Try installing it again (Error# 0)".
Â
With Adobe Application Manager, after the files are downloaded and extracted, I get the error "Installation failed: Insufficient disk space to extract files. Please clear space on C: and try again (EX10)", even though both on the target drive (which I've set to D:) and on the C: drive, there is plenty of space available (85GB and 2.5GB, respectively).
Â
I previously had CS4 installed, and uninstalled it before attempting to install the trial of CS6. I'm running Win XP SP3 32-bit on a laptop with 4GB RAM.

I have PsCC installed and running OK as trial, before I activate paid version, to verify it works OK for me.
Â
I tried to install an extension .zxp made for PsCC but extension manager warns me I need to have ver. 14.0 or greater (which I have)Â to install the panel, so it does nothing.
Â
I tried an update to extension manager but it is up to date. So, will PsCC trial not accept an extension .zxp? Or do I need a different installer? Or how do I install the PsCC .zxp other than dbl clicking on it?

Last night my portable hard drive, where I had Photoshop installed, died. So I tried to re-install it on my proper hard drive. It says it conflicts with Photoshop. I tried to uninstall it but the uninstaller couldn't find the files (because they're on the dead hard drive). So I got an uninstaller program and used that.
Now Photoshop doesn't register as being installed by Windows, but somehow the Photoshop installer still finds it. I just went through the registry editor and deleted every photoshop thing I could by hand, but it still thinks it's installed. I just got my Tablet back from being fixed and so having my pc break on me feels very frustrating.

I'm trying to decide whether it is worth keeping up with the C3D releases every year. One thing I wanted to try was to see if 2014 worked any better on the key things I need, but I don't want to stuff up my 2013 installation. know if I can do a separate install safely?

I've downloaded the trial version of Photoshop CS4 Extended.
When I click the setup.exe it starts running and works until it reaches the loading setup menu.
Then a error pops up.
The title of the message box is "Windows Internet Explorer" and the message is "Critical errors were found in setup." And it also said to look in the setup log.
The log file contained this message " FATAL
Critical errors were found in setup
TypeError:'undefined' is null or not an object"
I'm using XP (SP3) and my computer is well above the minimum requirements.
