I have seen that in using the Creative Cloud CS6 Photoshop, you can right click on a layer and it will give a menu item to turn the layer into HTML. I do not see this option in my Photoshop Creative Cloud CS6 program.
Is there any easier way to convert .psd design into html/css ? I do not have dreamviewer and doing everything in html/css from scratch for a design in .psd is a very time consuming process.
I'm using the trial of CS3 right now (hoping it does what I need it to so I can justify purchasing!). I have a web design template that is in PSD format. I went in and did all of my editing and customization and when I got to the point where I was ready to publish, I realized that I had no idea how to get it int HTML format.
When I get web templates they always come with PSD and HTML files, leading me to believe that they are designed in PSD, and then converted. I'm new to the Photoshop world, so if this is really easy stuff, I apologize for the ignorance.
I have changed some images on the PSD template but when i save it as webpage it save it just as a picture, i can not change text on it after that, since its an image. I have been using Gimp with a drawing board for cartoon pictures. Now, I like to create simple animation from the pictures that I made. Is there any way Gimp can convert pictures (whatever format) into HTML canvas code?
I want to make a simple animation from 3 pictures (gifs saved on my computer). I understand that I have to get these 3 pictures to be layers but I can't work out how to do that. One tutorial referred to Image>convert to editable layer but I don't see this option on my menu (using CS2). I have to admit to not having mastered layers properly yet.
I would be so grateful if someone could give a step by step description of how to import 3 different pictures and somehow get them into one animation. The ability to make simple animations would make an enormous difference to the project I am working on.
Is there a script to convert a layer or layer group to a 32-bit image rather then the entire active document at present that is the only option in Ps 5.x.
Is it possible to convert a layer to a smart object, and then (if desired) have each smart filter have its own filter mask?In the past, I've gotten around this by embedding smart objects within one another, but I'm wondering if there's been any progress made on this issue since CS3.
Using Photoshp CS5 Extended and Windows 7 Home Premium. I try to convert a text layer to a shape and I'm told it cannot, becasue I have a faux bold style. Thing is, I don't have it set to bold. I tried with Tahoma and Ariel. I tried it as none, sharp, crisp, strong, and smooth. I checked other messages here about faux type probs, but no luck.
I've many layers with sub-layers in it. The problem: All layers (containing sub-layers) are shown opened in the layer pallette on document opening. How can I convert a layer into a simple group preserving the name? Are there a (semi-)automatic approach to convert all sub-layers into groups?
I made a graph in Illustrator. So I imported all of my layers as .ai layers, and I've come to a point in the tutorial where I'm supposed to convert the vector object into a path in After Effects, but when I right-click it the option isn't there.

I have searched the web and the Autodesk Discussion Group for a LISP Routine that allows me to convert all attributes in a drawing to Layer 0 but i have had no luck. It would be great if the LISP could edit xrefs as well although not sure if this is possible.
**BATTMAN command will take too long for the hundreds of blocks, xrefs and drawings i need to edit.
I have 4500 OS mapping tiles which i need to convert the colors to one single color rather than the varied layer colors they have at present. Obviously doing this manually will take a long time.
What if I have created 7 logo versions. I want the client to view these 7 versions as one file (maybe one PDF file with 1 logo per page). Each logo version is on its own layer in Illustrator right now. How do I convert each logo/layer to a multi-page PDF file? Since this is just for viewing, I don’t have to submit EPS files yet to the client.
what is the process that the veterans use to get their graphic PSD ideas into a working HTML/CSS page? Currently I have been making creating a web layout, then once completed I make some layers invisible, then I duplicate it to another file, then Save As a jpg, gif or png. This has been a lengthy process and doesn't always work that well depending on how the layers are broken up or merged;
