how to change the color of the edges, bounding box, and anchor points in the ai interface? I'm working on numerous layouts that have cyan as a background, which happens to be nearly the same color as the edges, bounding box, and solid anchor points. it's making my head swim trying to differentiate the two.
Is there a way to change the color of the anchor point while transforming? We use very elaborate and colorful images in our work, and sometimes have a hard time finding the anchor point in order to change its location.
how to change color on mouseover for virtually everything except text elements. I have 3 text boxes on a page and I simply want to change the font color when I mouseover them. I've searched the entire web and the forums but no dice getting anything to work.
I'm working on this study and I need to change the color of an object inside a symbol when I click another object.
The object is called "bola", wich is inside the symbol "ponto" and the clicking object are the colored pencils (each pencil should change the color of the symbol's object, giving the impression you'd selecting a different pencil to draw).
I think it's simple to understand what I mean when you see the files.
I already tried this line on click event of the pencils, but it didn't work:
Need to control playback of the animation based on an anchor in the web page. When the anchor comes into the browser viewport, it would trigger play, pause or stop.
And ... to control the flow/direction of the animation playback based on scroll direction.
The setup:
I would like to have the playback direction for Edge animations placed in a web page, to follow the web Surfer's scrolling direction.
Scrolling down or right, Animation plays forward.
Scrolling up or left, Animation direction plays backwards,
But, that's not all ... I would like to combine the scroll direction sync with ... Anchors
Image if you will:
Multiple Edge animations are placed at various positions on a web page.
Autoplay for each is turned off.
Wish to individually control the playback functions for each animation. - Start - Stop - Pause.
Wish to trigger their playback relative to when an associated anchor (becomes visible / invisible) is inside or outside, of the browser view port.
Sounding complicated?
I put up a web page diagram to illustrate the functions. [URL]....
How do I change the position of anchor points on my line, at the moment the anchor points are in the middle of my line, I would like the anchor points on the inside edge of my line so I can make my cut cuides more accurate. I am using illustrator CS6 cloud.
Im working on an object which has 4 anchor points, i would like to keep to black stroke for 2/3 segments of the object but i would like to change the colour between two anchor points (so 1/3 segments).
I'm just wondering if there's some function to add an anchor point on a path between (exactly in the middle) two anchor points. Like Object > Path > Add Anchor Points, except only between two selected anchor points.
script that would sample the underlying color of anchor points in a selected gradient mesh and apply it to them? I was just thinking of ways to speed up the process of creating a vector drawing based on a picture so that all you would have to do is model your mesh and then let the script apply the colors.
I have a shape in illustrator CS6 that I'm trying to edit. When I try to click on a point with the Delete Anchor Point Tool nothing happens however I am able to select the point using the Direct Selection Tool and then remove it using the "Remove selected anchor points" option in the Control palette. Same issue with trying to use the Convert Anchor Point Tool.
When I have any kind of layer, and I want to change the foreign or background color (with the color picker) I just cant. When I click on the foreign or background color it automatically selects the eyedropper tool, and I don't want this to happen.
A while back I saw a video about using the video editing capabilities. In particular the video showed a car with a colored sheet over it and the in the video the sheet was either pulled off the car or the car moved out from under the sheet (I cant remember which). Then the video showed how to use the color replace tool to change the color of the sheet throughout the entire video.
I have a star that I would like in a specific color, but am having issues changing it with the replace color and/or color replacement tool. The image is small, but I am trying to have all the pixels. The color I want to use is Pantone solid uncoated 655 U. This is the image I am trying to change.

I have a question regarding illustrator. Let's say I have a circle with blue fill and red stroke. And I place an image in the illustrator file. Now I want to change the red stroke of my circle to let's say a purple color by sampling the color from the image.
How can I achieve that with a eye dropper tool? Every time when I try to sample a color from the image, the whole circle will change to purple instead of just the stroke? I have tried multiple key combination, shift, alt, ctrl but they all don't work.

How I choose a color for any new objects I want to create. I've opened the toolbox with ctrl-b, which appears on the left side of the window. If I want to , for example, draw a red rectangle, I use the rectangular selection tool, then the bucket fill, and I don't see how to change the foreground color to red.
I've read elsewhere in the forum that there should be two rectangles somewhere on the screen that show foreground and background color, but I don't see them anywhere.
