Jul 30, 2003hard time getting this background sawp to look natural. The picture I've linked to is as good as I've been able to get it, but something still doesn't look right.

Oct 23, 2012I have some text documents in PDF format and would like to edit it in photoshop CS5, but each time I open them up in photoshop, the background seems to be transparent (tiny grey and white tiles), which is very eye tiring when editing/annotating with a wacom pen, how to fill the background total white?

I don't want to re-size it or lose image quality, the background for this can be easily replicated through some simple editing (drawing strait lines with the paint brush tool, and basically filling in to expand the background) Is there a way to do this? Here is the picture I want to change:

I just want it so that the pin-wheel design extends outward as to make the entire image 1920-1200, rather then the 1920-1080 it is now. (without losing image quality of the center wheel.)

All layers are theirs and the work is very simple to understant. I use filter->Render->Cloud and filter->Noise->Add noise for the last layer + setting it to screen option.
I would be happy to explain to me ho to change the background to transparent if possible of course.

I use the Rectangle to cover transparent layer. It fills the color with Grey. The color that is selected in the little box at the bottom of my tool bar.I go to change the color and want to fill the color or change it to say Blue... It won't. What step am I missing to do such an easy thing?

The original page has a white background and thought I'd make it transparent (PNG) with the Magic Eraser. The Magic Eraser, however, ends up affecting even the text on the page making it unreadable and not the internal parts of the letters O, P, A, etc. are not reached by road and remain white. In short, the effect of the rubber is bad ... Is there a way in photoshop to remove the white background of the page making it transparent, without ruining the text?
