View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to do a www logo with transparent text - colour of the text should change accordingly to web site background (image or solid colour).
I do not want to use Magic Wand as it degrade quality of the text.
I've tried to use 2 layers with blend mode set to multiply but it does not work for me if background was transparent (saved as PNG file)
If I have a red flower on a multi-coloured background, and I want to make the background black. I select the flower using the magic scissors (tried selecting by colour but nothing happened), invert, then whichever method I follow to achieve the black background, it's always the flower that changes colour, not the background. I've tried not inverting it, it gives the same result. I can only change the colour of the selected subject, not the background. I have followed all the steps in different tutorials, always with the same result. GIMP 2.8.4.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy background in Corel 5 is no longer white. It is a light yellow or cream & is very hard on my eyes Windows update downloaded an update for my monitor (Samsung SyncMaster 2233) & printer. When I opened Corel 5, I was asked what colour management I wanted, I did not know. I believe I selected "monitor based" or something like that, the way the question was, made me believe I was choosing the same setting as before. Obiviously wrong. Using Corel draw 5 help I selected "page background"Â picked solid: choose white but did not change. I then choose "no background" but did not change.
I have restarted corel 5 to no avail.
I have little question that, is it possible to change background colour of drawing sheet in inventor?
I have to change background colour white to black ( as in autocad) .

I am working on an extracted image that contains a logo and a transparent background. I cannot figure out how to change the background of the extracted image leaving the logo with the same colour. I will also like to learn how to change the colour of the logo.

View 4 Replies View Relatedas a user of pse 6 I 'm used to work with darkgrey background in the organizer.
This works perfectly for quickly assessing brightness and contrast of pictures.
In pse 10 however I could not find any button to change the preset lightgrey background colour to darkgrey.
I will like to find out the colour code for the background colour on a particular web address. Unfortunately I am new here so not allowed to post links so will say this as creatively as possible. the address is theregentlagos (with the usual prefix beginning with w and suffix beginning with c for all websites). I am referring to the colour where the menu items like logo, home, brands etc are on.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHow do I see the object selected change colour dynamically as I adjust the colour sliders?
Â
It seems the object only changes colour when I release the slider. But I want to see it dynamically change, so I can find the colour that works best without "hit or miss" - "trial and error" behaviour.
Â
Yes... I'm aware some of you spend hours in colour programs creating a palette to work with. Good for you.
Â
I'm just wanting to do it LIVE. Dynamically. In 2013. In Illustrator.
with CS4 I had a clear desktop with my screensaver, only the tools bar were visible at the top and on the side now that I have CS6....... the whole screen is covered with a dark grey colour ..... that means that I can not select other photos or folders unless I hide photoshop. I had a look at the preferences, interface, etc. and I can not see any difference between the two.what changes to make to the settings so that I can use CS6 and see the normal desktop.

View 14 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to change the background layer colour once you've started a document?
When I first created my document (in PS CS2, if that makes a difference) it automatically set my background colour as sepia, instead of white.
I'm now working on a painting and just realised that I can't use white; PS is calling this sepia colour white, and I can't get anything lighter.
Is there a way to fix this? I've done it on a few pictures now and I don't want to have to start everything over.
I've just tried making a new document with a white background layer and the same thing still happens! What is this?! I'm sure this can't be right! I'm on some sort of sepia scale; I can't even do grays. *desperate*
when I use the brush tool, it doesn't apply the full colour. It's very pale (as if the opacity is low), but the opacity is 100%? When you go over an area with the colour that has already been applied with the brush, it deepens/darkens the colour, but still not full colour. I believe this happens when there is a transparent background. Is there a setting to control this? Is this the only circumstance where this happens?
(i.e. can you set this when there is a colour background)?
Can you turn it off with a transparent background, so when you apply the brush, the full colour comes through and doesn't change (deepen/darken), when brushed over again?
Canvas size occasionally the canvas extension colour is greyed out this can happen on any file ie jpg tiff or PSD.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an image open in Photoshop, rulers visible on 2 sides. I pulled out the bottom right hand side (as I look at the screen) to have the image float in the background. Normally my background is grey, but suddenly it's turned to blue.

Am I able to change the background colour of the view screen in PSE 11 organiser? The current background is grey, which isn't a great colour to optimise viewing images. Black would be better.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIve got around 100 images (all different) of white shoes.
Â
For each image I have to change the shoes to 35 different colours.
Â
I am going to do this by opening the image, selecting the area of the shoe, copying to a new layer, setting mode to colour and brushing in the colour.
Â
Each image needs to be in the same 35 colours.
Â
Now I could do this all manually but it will take an ages. Given it is the same 35 colours for each image needed is there an easier way, maybe an action, so that i can open the image select the area i need changing and the click and it saves the image in the 35 colours?
I've scanned in a copy of my signature, dragged & dropped it from MS Word into Photoshop CS2.
BUT... I want to change its colour from black to a specific pantone colour for a sales letter I'm writing (0c1c8c)...
Would someone be so kind as to advise me on how to do this please, as everything I seem to try just isn't working.
This may sound rude since ive just signed up but i installed photoshop 2 days ago and can't manage to get it working. (although i doubt i'd know how to do this anyway)
Would someone be able to change my hair colour at all? (im not sure how difficult it is).
