May 20, 2013When I open Adobe Application Updates it opens but the rotating circle just keeps rotating with no results.

Unable to start application (0xc000007b).
I already tried several fixes like:
1. reinstall all redist(x64 & x86).
2. reinstall .Net 4.0
3. Use CCleaner for Registry error.
4. chckdsk for error and fix.still error so I've gone through this.
5. I uninstall Autocad 2014 completely, uninstall it manually one by one,deleted left over folder of autodesk or similar software to it, deleted its registry keys.just like the instruction on how to remove autocad completely in autodesk, I just followed it all. [after Reboot]
6 I Re-install it and still the problem persist.

Oct 2, 2012The installation of Adobe Extension Manager CS6 failed - while 2 others update for Photoshop CS6 did install. I was installing Adobe Reader X. That's why I discovered the notification from the application manager about updates for CS6 - and I just confirmed that as well.
Apparently the Reader installation blocked only the update installation of Adobe Extension Manager CS6 - saying another installation process was running ... such stuff happens sometimes.
However, it seems Adobes Application Manager update module does not track its failed installations? It does not automatically advertise that update has not been installed and notifying me again to install it. At least not immediately.. So how do I rerun the Adobe Application Manager update module to check for updates manually?

Apr 15, 2009I'm using photoshop 7.0 and my problem occurs with Imageready. I am using Vista, but this has not been a problem for the past year (so I don't think it's Vista related).I recently created an animation in Imageready and it worked just fine. However, when I returned to use Imageready again, I received the error listed above.Reinstalling does not resolve this problem. If I do a system restore, I am able to use Imageready again. . . but only one time. after which the same error occurs.

Sep 22, 2007I am getting an error about 10 times each time I open Photoshop. It says "The application has failed to start because MSVCRT10.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem".
This does nothing besides lag up Photoshop for me. I have most of my ram towards Photoshop and it still lags like crazy. I was wondering if there WAS any way to fix it besides re-installing.

Dec 7, 2003I just received and loaded my new copy of CS. I had been using Elements at home and PS 6.0 in class. My OS is Windows XP.
I tried to use the Image>Resize>Image Size function, I changed the resolution from 150 to 72 but 149.999 appeared in the box. I also tried to change the Pixel dimensions to no avail.
I brought Elements up which had always worked before and experienced the same thing.
The only odd thing I've noticed when I bring up PhotoShop or PhotoShop Elements is a message "Unable to locate component" then in the box it reads "Application has failed to start because NUVTwain.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this". This has been displayed for some time now while I was using Elements, I just clicked on it four times and the program loaded. Now it appears in either PhotoShop version. I tried reinstalling Elements some time ago and it didn't solve the problem. I reinstalled CS and it also still has the same message.

Thinking SP2 would fix it, i tried installing through autocad, but after it says transferring, nothing happens and everything closes and this box comes up. If I go and get the update package and install it manually, i get the same error. This machine is running windows 7 pro x64 and I have already tried a repair, and full uninstall/reinstall.

Nov 11, 2013I'm trying to start Excel and show the results of some BOM items I have written to a file like item number, part number and description.The task is to find components in an assembly that have a part number longer then 39 characters, due to ERP limitations.
What I´m doing is cycling through all BOM (structured) items on first level and check if the part number is longer then 39 characters.
I write these item number, part number, description to an Excel file (temp.xlsx), so the user sees which Components he has to check for the Part Number (make it shorter). I figured it would be best to do that with an excel file, so the user can save the results to a new file or just check it.
Values will be erased from the temporary excel file afterwards.Here I can't figure out how to start the excel application and open the file in an actual application window if possible.
how to list the results with plain iLogic that would do it too or some other solution to list a snapshot from the BOM.I guess there is no way to add your custom BOMViews ?
