I am using adobe photoshop CS4 64bit environment. I have converted a 32bit plugin into a 64bit plugin. I have succesfully loaded the plugin . Now my problem is when i click on the pluginName from the menu list, my plugin dialog is not visible. I am using DialogBoxParam API to show the dialog within the "DoUI" method but this API(DialogBoxParam) is returning an error value. I have used the GetLastError and got the below mentioned error: Error 1813: The specified resource type can not be found in the image file. The 32bit plugin is running succesfully with this dialog resource. I am using the same .rc file which i am using in 32 bit plugin.
Anytime I try to add a custom scale either by selecting the "custom scale" option from the paperspace viewport scale menu or by entering the command SCALELISTEDIT manually, the dialog box doesn't appear.Â
It's not that the box isn't opening because all other buttons and functionality are restricted in AutoCAD until I hit escape to exit out of the command. It's as if it's opening on a separate monitor, except it doesn't appear on my secondary monitor when I plug it in either.
Is there a command where I can manually add a custom scale or a property that I can change to force the box to be docked?
I need to get the visible portion of a particular layer in the final image.Lets say i have 4 layers and some portion of each layer is visible in the flattened image i would like to get the portion from each of the layers. The input will be in xcvf format.I will ideally want to automate this and output to file in some format looking like this,
Layer1 ---> Co-ordinates of visible polygon from this particular layer in the image . Layer2 ---> And so on.
How to proceed with the script. I think brute force is to take each non-transparent pixel and and find the same pixel in all above layers if it is not found it will be added to the region.Or something exists like selection from alpha combined with multiple layers ?
Or if there is a way to find out for an image with all layers visible which pixel came from which layer ?
My last step in processing is sharpening. After the application the photo does not look like it was sharpened. If I use my zoom button up one level than the photo is sharp. When I run slideshow in Bridge this lack of sharpening also appears here.Â
I enter text rarely in PS (CS2) but have successfully done it. Recently I went to add text but either the text is not visible or has not been added.
I selected the horizontal type tool, clicked on image to get a new layer and place the I beam cursor (that changed to a small square on clicking). I typed text in 60 pt text, black, clicked commit and ... nothing.
The text typed appeared in the thumbnail but not the image.

Files saved from photoshop to a server in Mountain lion not visible. But when I save to desktop then move the file to the server, it recognizes that the file is there and I do an overwrite. Also happens with Illustrator files. Is this a MountainLion problem or CS6?
I've inserted some keywords into many CR2 images via Bridge. I then moved the CR2 amd XMP files separately in to the same folder. They keywords are no longer visible, but when I open the XMP file in notepad, I can see them. How can I get them visible in bridge again?
I add a watermark to all the photos I post to the web. I've (for years) used a transparent .png file and it's worked fine. Since starting to shoot with Canon Raw, I'm now doing the editing in CS5 for Windoze. (W7 pro 640 bit)  Since I've been unable to find a visible watermark feature in CS5, I've been dragging, then dropping the .png file on the edited image, placing it, then adjusting the opacity to a value of 5 or 6. That works out ok.  But when I drop the .png onto the edited file, its size is inconsistent. Well, it's consistent in that it's about 150 percent of what it should be. Both the edited file and the watermark image are 800 pixels wide. However, at what seems random frequency, the dropped image is about 1200 pixels wide, necessitating alignment and resizing before placing.  First, have I overlooked a visible watermark function?I know that's a loaded question, but if it's a method that should work, why is the dropped image inconsistent in its size? Next, is it reasonable to create an action to overlay the edited image with the watermark? I always use the same file, so it would seem like a reasonable thing.
I'm trying to import a couple of models from the google warehouse into Photoshop CS5 extended. Â They open without an error, but aren't visible. Â I tried following this KB article: [URL] .......... Â The script throws a syntax error: Line: 68 ->Â Â Â Â Â var Construct0r = function() { }; Â I've also stepped through the parts of the model in the 3d palette looking for elements that have the opacity set incorrectly, but they all seem to be set to 100%. Â I see the kb article is from january 2011; Is there a newer version of that script
I have 10 equally sized layers in my document, each with a different image.
I would like to show a horizontal band (rectangle) from each layer. For example, I want Layer 1 to be visible from 0 in to 1 in., Layer 2 to be visible from 1 in. to 2 in., etc. Does anyone know easiest & least tedious way to do this?
what I'm trying to do is put a lablel on a picture, that only appears when people try to save the picture. I don't want the picture to have the annoying information of who did it and so on, but I would Like it to be visable when tried to be tampered with?
I am fairly new to more than the basic elements of photoshop. I am using 'Actions' to create a e-book cover and had my design created but when I pressed finalise iget the error box - The command Merge Visible is not available with two boxes continue or stop Clicking on either box produces no results.
My query how do I cure this please, I also notice that in the layer detail menu all but the background layer have disappeared. I have taken back steps and re-entered layers with the same result. Forgive my ignorance I am a silver haired surfer who was told it was easy to create e-book covers in photoshop.
I have a PSD with about 100 layers. When I use the select tool and press while holding CTRL (to activate "auto select layer") I sometimes select invisible layers.
I'm making some CD labels and I have a layer that had the outline of the CD label on it. I keep it up to make sure I'm positioning my items in the right area. I always leave a little bit past the lines in case the prininting is off a little bit.
Is there any way to get a displaying layer not to print?
When I try to use the "merge visible" and the inverse selection shortcuts they simply do not work or deselect the program. Is this a well known problem for win2000? as far as I know I haven't got any irregular keyboard settings or maybey 2000 has some flaws...
I just upgraded from Elemets 7 to Elements 10 (since Win 7 and Elements 7 are not fully compatible). I installed full version Elements 10 and updated this directly, ADR 6.7 is installed. Â In the organiser the raw/nef (Nikon D5000) are not visible, the pics are show as errors (broken files), all jpg and psd are shown correctly. Opening a raw/nef in the editor and ACR there is no issue, picture is perfectly visible. Â What do I need to do to have the raw/nef visible in the organiser?
No visible Text in PE v6 on Mac 10.6.8. Other functions appear to work ok. Reinstall of program did not correct. Text may be selected but does not appear on work screen
I'm looking for plugins for Photoshop CC, I have a full license and need a plugin for jpg / png saves, Super PNG is installed in my plugins folder but it still doesn't give me the option to save. I'm just trying to type a font and save it .
A search indicates that Camera Raw 6.3 plugin and later will work, but it is apparently for CS5 only. Is it true that CS4 loses the ability to work with camera raw files of newer cameras? If not, where can I get a camera raw plugin for my new S95 that works with CS4? (The camera does ship with proprietary raw processing software, but I'd prefer the integration of Bridge and Photoshop.)
Is there a TWAIN plug-in for Photoshop CC? (I saw the June 2013 query; any updates since then?) This is for a Windows 7, 64 bit installation, using an Epson Perfection 2400 scanner. If not, any work around beside buying Vuescan?
I used Paint Shop Pro for years and they had a great Kaleidoscope generator effect built in to the program.Switched to Pshop a couple years ago, and have been sorely missing the Kaleidoscope thing. I've searched high and low on the 'net and there seems to be nothing out there. Some freebies made for PC but nada for Mac.  Is it really a difficult programming feature to cook up one of these things? people are doing amazing stuff with fractal generators and computers, isn't about time someone coded a simple kaleidoscope plugin for Pshop on Macs?
I want to use PS CC exclusively for astro photography, for that , the file format use is FITS 16 or 32 or IEET , before with CS3 we used fits liberator and after downloading , it was easy to use it , in plugin/ file format. But now I have a lot of difficulties to open this file.
Who here uses Topaz as a photoshop plugin and what do you think of it? To me it is not a cure-all but it saves a lot of time for quick edits or just refreshing a boring picture.
