Photoshop :: Make Blue Bottom Portion - Color Replacement Tool?
Oct 29, 2011I'm trying to make the blue bottom portion of this wall match the top off-white portion. I try to paint over the blue with the color replacement tool, having set my brush to match the top wall, but when it overpaints the blue, I'm getting a much darker gray that doesn't match.

Paint Shop Pro :: Paste Cuts Off Bottom Portion Of Selection
May 23, 2011I've been having a recurring problem with Paint Shop Pro X3. When I try to paste a selection into an existing image, it cuts off the bottom 5-10 pixels. I hover over the existing image with my selection, and the entire selection shows up -- I move it into place, and once I paste it on, it cuts it off -- here is a screen shot -- left side shows full image when still 'selected' -- once I right click it cuts off a part of the bottom portion.
This is a piece of another image being pasted into a blank, new image. They are sized the same height (though that doesn't matter) and after paste, chop chop.

Feb 21, 2008Can someone please let me know why I'm getting a color shift (the entire image lightens noticably) when I export an image or animated gif with "Save for Web & Devices...". It happens on PCs and Macs, and with both CS3 and CS2.
I've been using this feature (flawlessly until a few months ago) long enough to realize that there are several settings to adjust the color table, dithering, web snap, etc., but adjusting these settings don't seem to fix the problem. When I use "Save As..." the color shift doesn't occur, and that's been my workaround, but I'm currently trying to save a few animated gifs, which must be saved with "Save for Web & Devices..." in order to retain the animation.

May 6, 2012I had about twenty seconds to take this picture last night but only to notice it is rather dark due to the limited lighting in that area. I have tried various settings in Lightroom to brighten it up enough to see the moon and the building in the foreground but the pictures just come out to grainy and a slight purple look. what i can do for this?

Jul 4, 2012I have a series of sheets, each with two viewports to show two plan views of a long road alignment. I arranged them to read bottom to top, as it goes up stationing, as we do with cross section sheets, but have been told by an outside reviewer that the sheets are confusing and should read top down.
How would you arrange them?

Jan 7, 2014I have been trying to make "lightening holes" for a Beech 18 wingtip bulkhead. Â It is basically a hole that is flanged on a 30 degree radius at 1/4 inch.
I have have had very little success trying to replicate this with the Sheet Metal Punch Tool (Round Emboss) but the iFeatures will not allow me to enter a value for the angle, diameter, and height.

Dec 2, 2008I'm using Photoshop CS version 8.0 for Mac and never noticed this before, but when I print on my Epson 2200 an image that I have made into a picture package from photoshop, it is a different color that when I print directly from the .jpg image without creating a picture package first (because it is an 8x10 and I don't need to use the software for that). Is it because my Picture Package creates it as a .psd and not a .jpg?

May 10, 2009I have CS4 and I downloaded and transferred the legacy plugins for picture package into my automate folder (as directed). After restarting Photoshop,
I go to file>automate>picture package and I get the following error: "Cannot find any layout files Presets/Layouts" After I click "ok" I get this message: "Could not complete the Picture Package command because the file could not be found. Any thoughts on what I need to do to fix this? I would use the picture package feature in Adobe Bridge but I can't locate it in the Output workspace. FYI, the contact sheet feature does work in Photoshop.Â
