View 9 RepliesI'm trying to make the blue bottom portion of this wall match the top off-white portion. I try to paint over the blue with the color replacement tool, having set my brush to match the top wall, but when it overpaints the blue, I'm getting a much darker gray that doesn't match.

I'm using cs 4 and cs 5.5
I've been having a recurring problem with Paint Shop Pro X3. When I try to paste a selection into an existing image, it cuts off the bottom 5-10 pixels. I hover over the existing image with my selection, and the entire selection shows up -- I move it into place, and once I paste it on, it cuts it off -- here is a screen shot -- left side shows full image when still 'selected' -- once I right click it cuts off a part of the bottom portion.
This is a piece of another image being pasted into a blank, new image. They are sized the same height (though that doesn't matter) and after paste, chop chop.
I'm looking for some direction to follow to modify an existing design. I am trying to thicken left and right walls in order to make the inner section narrower. However, none of my attempts have been successful. I am not looking for learning materials for CAD, but rather a solution to this specific problem.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have this picture of a wall mural. It is all in monotone creamy colours with some blacks and browns. There was lighting at the top of the wall. I should have used flash to even it at the bottom but couldn't ... so, what I would like to do is somehow make the lower part of the pic as bright as the upper part.

View 5 Replies View RelatedCan someone please let me know why I'm getting a color shift (the entire image lightens noticably) when I export an image or animated gif with "Save for Web & Devices...". It happens on PCs and Macs, and with both CS3 and CS2.
I've been using this feature (flawlessly until a few months ago) long enough to realize that there are several settings to adjust the color table, dithering, web snap, etc., but adjusting these settings don't seem to fix the problem. When I use "Save As..." the color shift doesn't occur, and that's been my workaround, but I'm currently trying to save a few animated gifs, which must be saved with "Save for Web & Devices..." in order to retain the animation.
I had about twenty seconds to take this picture last night but only to notice it is rather dark due to the limited lighting in that area. I have tried various settings in Lightroom to brighten it up enough to see the moon and the building in the foreground but the pictures just come out to grainy and a slight purple look. what i can do for this?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a series of sheets, each with two viewports to show two plan views of a long road alignment. I arranged them to read bottom to top, as it goes up stationing, as we do with cross section sheets, but have been told by an outside reviewer that the sheets are confusing and should read top down.
How would you arrange them?
I have been trying to make "lightening holes" for a Beech 18 wingtip bulkhead. Â It is basically a hole that is flanged on a 30 degree radius at 1/4 inch.
I have have had very little success trying to replicate this with the Sheet Metal Punch Tool (Round Emboss) but the iFeatures will not allow me to enter a value for the angle, diameter, and height.

I have found the old legacy plugin Picture Package etc very useful. However It needs CS5 to be run in 32 bit mode. Is there an equivalent in CS5 (and CS6 when it comes) or Bridge or Light room?
