I can't find the icons for filters and effects under the effects panel on the right as well as the dropdown library. I can access them from the top tool bar under filters. how I get them back?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI thought I had a grasp of the CUI routine, but apparently not. I copied the Image panel from the "Insert" Ribbon tab in Task-based Geospatial, and got it where I wanted. The commands are there, but the images are not - just the infamous cloud with "?". I can go back into Task-based Geospatial workspace and the icons are there, but I can't figure out where they are being referenced. Are they embedded here somehow? In the CUI under both the main .cuix list of ribbon panels and those for the partial workspace for TASKBASEDRIBBON, the button images are not linked to anything, just the cloud with "?" It seems that I need to be able to copy the Image panel from the right side window (when Task-based Geospatial is set to current) over to the main .

I'm trying to follow along with a video at Lynda.com on AI CS6.However, in the video, Deke McClelland is showing the TEXT "Align" on the top Control Panel.On my screen, it's not a text, but a small icon. When I click it, I don't get the same options he does.
I've searched and searched and can't find how to get MY screen to look like his. I have even tried to "Reset Essentials" (the workspace he's using) and still no luck.
Whenever I save a file in Photoshop CS6, no preview icon is created. I am still also using PS CS5 and don't have this problem. I am running Mac OS 10.8
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe 'Template' checkbox gets activated in Layer Options dialog box, and the box gets closed, then, the Layer name and several icons at the bottom of the Layer Panel disappear.The Layer is still there without a name, and rolling over the icons on the Layers Panel I can see the Tool Icons.Illustrator Prefs were trashed/restored using the Opt-Shift-Command restart shortcut.

I am trying to find the individual icons in the ribbon back in my Autocad Lite. For example all the small icons under the "Clip" tab have disappeared.
How do I get them back?
When using the scale or move commands the 3D axis labels are gone and all that I'm left with is the 2D move arrows. How can I bring them back?

1 Sure but where are the Autocad icons actually hidden?
2 Why did they get lost in the first place ? The cui does some odd things at times.
3 What is the right spot to add the path changing file support paths makes no difference. (includes reboots)
Other machines here are fine don't want the same problem with theirs when we add the new toolbars.
As an extra we run new workspaces to avoid this problem but the original Civil 3D workspace is corrupt maybe.
What might be causing a yellow hue to appear on all pics opened/worked in Cs5 full edit? Might it ba a color profile that is not right?

After installing 3ds Max 2014 I decided to check out the new enhanced menu. It worked very will for a few days but for some reason now every icon in the menu is very low quality or just a star. I've tried doing a complete re install but it didn't seem to work.
I've attached a screenshot to illustrate what I'm talking about.
With 2011 I have noticed my DWG icons in explorer are displaying the generic icon and not the new DWG icon.I have gone through the Folder options and File Types tab to try to reassign it but no luck.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've been reading some of the discussions here regarding missing 3D menus and all the advices have been "if you have a beta or trial you need to upgrade" or "get the paid Creative Cloud version". I have the paid version and I still don't see it. I've seen it in the Panel Menus but don't have a clue as to how to make it visible. All the components under the 3D heading are supposed to be visible (all have "eyes" on them).
Is it my hardware then that's a problem? I've tried CS5 trial version and the 3D worked perfectly on this computer. I'm running on XP professional and a Dell machine that's about 4 years old.
i miss my "create view" etc. buttons in my layout ribbon. Where can i find an option to make them visible?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI went to use my laptop with autocad LT 2012 which I do not use that much. When I lookd all the Icons on the tool bars are missing. The tabs still work but it is hard to figure out what they do. I have not changed any settings.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am missing the icons for the "ON/OFF", "FREEZE", and "LOCK" in the Layer Properties Manager in AutoCAD 2010. Recently upgraded computer to 64-bit and had to re-install 2010. Since then, it takes forever to reload the Properties Manager. Adding new layers, trying to turn layers on/off, freeze layers, etc. causes the Manager to reload. The file I am working with is only 75 kb, tiny in comparison to files I usually work with. My co-worker has a 64-bit and 2010 as well, and her Properties Manager is working just fine. Do I have to reload 2010?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm using pse10 on a computer with an i7 processor with 12GB of ram and windows 7 with a color laser printer. The print function works fine while in organizer and sharing mode, but not from full edit. When I try to print from full edit, I get an error message with a red "X" on it that says: "Before you can perform printer related tasks such as page setup or printing a document, you need to install a printer." I can't figure it out. The printer is in "ready" state, and works fine in the organizer mode, and in share.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I'm working in guided or quick edit I'm fine but if I switch to full edit mode I lose the gray background and my workspace turns parent with my desktop showing through. I can still work on the photo but the workspace itself is changed.
