I have a JPEG of a map and I want to put a black circle around a place name to draw attention to it. Have been all through the tools and the files in my Photoshop 7 and cannot find any way of doing it.
I m trying to create a colored circle but every time Im filling the circle with color is not properly filled. It is like becoming glow at the edges, something that I do not want. How to fill it correctly. I assume that is a setting needs to be adjusted but I cant find it.
I use photoshop a fair amount, but only to edit photos. For work I need to be able to circle something in an image and I cannot figure out how to draw a thick, red circle around some text. How do you do it?
I'm a begiiner in Photoshop and I can't figure out how do you draw a circle without color filling. It should be possible, but I can't find it in settings.
I would like to draw a Circle with the Ellipse tool and then add a Vector Mask
next i would like to Duplicate the layer and then select the Vector Mask Thumbnail in the layers panel so that when i select the Pen tool the Intersect Shape Areas is available
however, i cannot seem to get the Vector Mask to be available it is always grayed out no matter what i try to do.
i am trying to add a "glossy" effect to the circle by using the Pen tool to draw a shape through it horizontally and then up and around the top of and joining/closing it so that i can add a white>trans gradient.
I'm struggling to do the most simple thing - draw a circle outline. In PSE, all you have to do is hit the circle marquee button, then use Stroke. But how the heck do you do it in Xara?
I've got a small picture (which is basically a glorified line), and I want to copy and paste this 'line' multiple times, so that it is always pointing to the center of a circle. (Something like this [URL]........
I've worked out that I can copy and paste the layer, click on the rotate tool, set the center, rotate it by a fixed amount, fix it, and repeat a good few times, but that will be really slow. Is there a faster way of doing it?
Well, I bought Xara Designer Pro 7 the other day, and I'm trying to get used to it. One thing it's doing that really bugs me is that when I draw a circle or an oval in freehand, the circle fills in with solid color!
What is the smallest object I can draw and "SEE" in AutoCAD? I was hoping to prove a point in my introductiory AutoCAD class, but it appears I have been lying!! I tried to draw a cirlce with a diameter of 1.24E-10m. The dot shows up, but I cannot zoom to it. I tried using an enormous zoom scale, but did not have any luck. I am almost positive my instructor introduced the capabilites of AutoCAD by drawing a full scale helium atom, and that was release 14. Is this still possible? Obviously the atom can be drawn, but what are the zoom limitations?
I can't control the location of a 3rd circle using ttr. I'm drawing two circles and then a 3rd tangent to both but I want the 3rd circle to be centered down below the two original ones and all it will do is be above them. See drawing.
I’ve an already drawn inclined line from a fixed point (saypoint (0,2) on Y-axis). The inclination is also fixed (say 150 tothe horizontal). My objective is to draw a circle with one quadrant at a fixedpoint (say point (1,0) on X-axis), so that, the line becomes a perfect tangentto the circle. The diameter of the circle may vary to make the line perfecttangent to the circle.
I am trying to create my version of the power-standby symbol, and need to draw a circle with part of it missing in the top. I have tried just about everything, what am I missing?
How do you draw circles along the circumference of a circle at various angles? for example i want to plot a small circle every 30 degrees along a larger circle.
