There are always at least 2-3 names with missing letters or filled in letters. I've adjusted the detail etc while tracing but doesn't seem to work. I'm on the verge of losing a very important customer. We've also had to redo several orders because the "glitch" wasn't caught before production.
Why does adding a FX (Distort - Ocean Ripple) to text (converted to outlines) or a basic shape, change it back to pixels and blocky? Why doesn't it stay as smooth bezier curves? Is this a possible bug?
View 3 Replies View RelatedCorel Draw 5 did this very nicely but it's obsolete and I can't load it onto this machine (HP all-in-one Pavilion desktop with Windows 8).
I am working with hand-drawn images but since I need to manipulate the outline/s with a 4 - 12 pixel tool, it would be great to just be editing nodes instead. Creating the image from scratch as a vector graphic would be a horrible large amount of work and is not feasible at this time.
Is there any way other than Corel Draw 5 to make the conversion from bitmap-type images to editable vector graphics, ie: editable nodes?
PS - I don't have $700 - $1000 to spend on software at this point but do have Photoshop Elements 11, Premiere 11 and Lightroom, plus GIMP and the usual. Where should I start?

You'll see the DOG & Man's picture under that, I wanted to do same like that picture but my result is different, actually mine is dirty. Dog's and Man's colors are visible but mine turned into completely black.
Do you know how they convert that picture into illustration or is it a real vector file?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI want to make a simple animation from 3 pictures (gifs saved on my computer). I understand that I have to get these 3 pictures to be layers but I can't work out how to do that. One tutorial referred to Image>convert to editable layer but I don't see this option on my menu (using CS2). I have to admit to not having mastered layers properly yet.
I would be so grateful if someone could give a step by step description of how to import 3 different pictures and somehow get them into one animation. The ability to make simple animations would make an enormous difference to the project I am working on.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been working with Paint.NET for a while and it's got some great tools for creating images with transparent parts. what I'm looking for is some way to make a picture partially transparent.
So, say I've got a PNG of a tree. I want the tree to be 70% visible, so you can see outlines of things placed behind the tree. How do I do this? Using the magic marker to select the tree, and then telling it to make the tree partially transparent doesn't work since the part's that doesn't get transparent gets the secondary color as the 70% visibility, not the original, different shadings of the tree.

View 4 Replies View RelatedA user in Flash gets a picture, prepared with the inside of the box blank. The user selects a jpg color picture and fills the box. This is done by creating a point zone. (1) a way for flash to be texturized or painted.
No 1 is the box after is filled by the user. That is now.
No2 is the image, if I make the background blank as well as the inside.
No3 Is the image I need (nothing around it)
No 4 Is the background
No 5 Is if I use picture No1 (as I am doing now)
No6 Is if I use picture No2 (blanking the surrounding area as well the inside of the box)
No 7 Is I what I want.
Question: How do I convert No1 without the area around to look like and be like No3 as a symbol ? By converting the image to a symbol or an Icon, then how can this be accomplished?
