View 3 RepliesI am using PSE 11 and need a hint as to how to duplicate the picture layer and then add a layer mask. Still trying to figure this thing out.
View 1 Replies View Relatedyou could copy the layer from picture 1 to picture 2.
So you coud copy whole "effect-strings" much easier as before.
Is there a chance to implement this feature to P.net?
I want to make a simple animation from 3 pictures (gifs saved on my computer). I understand that I have to get these 3 pictures to be layers but I can't work out how to do that. One tutorial referred to Image>convert to editable layer but I don't see this option on my menu (using CS2). I have to admit to not having mastered layers properly yet.
I would be so grateful if someone could give a step by step description of how to import 3 different pictures and somehow get them into one animation. The ability to make simple animations would make an enormous difference to the project I am working on.
I've got a Photoshop file that someone wants me to use as a template. It has an existing layer that I need to put a picture into without modifying the layer or creating a new one.
Everytime I add a picture it comes up as a new layer. How can I add it to the existing one?
I need to use a picture as a mask to create a grundge effect But I only know how to make blank colored masks. How do I make a mask that is a picture ?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am brand new to anything PhotoShop. I have created a talk balloon that I plan on putting it on a photo. I have the text on it already. However, the area outside of the balloon must be tranparent. I made it transparent pixel by pixel. There must be an easier way. So my two questions are:
1. How to make an area of a picture or layer transparent?
2. How to resize a layer or .jpg picture or any picture that can be edited by PS Elements 12
Tried to include the talk balloon file but it failed because of the content.
I am trying to sample a picture of a moving river and add Layer effects to it. I am having trouble with Cloning Tool, have never used Slicer Tool, and really lost to be honest.
Basically I'd like to draw a river and add samples of a real picture of a river, like rocks from the river, etc.
Creating a collage. Just placed a new object with a layer mask. Now I need to create a hue/saturation, levels adjustment layer and color balance adjustment layer all with masks. Ok, no problem, but when I do this, my original picture turns black and white.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have several partially transparent GIFs.
I'm trying to layer them all on top of each other.
When I copy one partially transparent GIF and paste it on to the second partially transparent GIF the transparent section turns white and is no longer transparent.
Therefore covering up the contents of the prior GIF.
In short, please have a look at the three attached pictures, I would like to have all three on top of each other showing all buttons.
I cant copy and past pic into another pic after deleting all around pic.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have several pictures. Each "pair of picture" shows the same person on the same background/perspective/settings (using a tripod) -- but with the person on a different position. Now I want to crop these pairs of pictures. Now I am recording my cropping of the first picture as an action and repeat the same step via this action on the second picture.
But it is possible eg to record my cropping via a shortcut and execute the cropping with another shortcut to the next picture (the "next actually opened" picture) just to do this faster?
I need to do add a small photo insert into an existing photo. Is this possible with this software?
