View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently had to reload Photoshop Elements on a new computer, and the new install doesn't display the folder view of all the files in the Catalog like it did on my old computer. I don't remember how to get that view back? I've tried searching for Folder View, and Hierarchical view, and explorer view, but obviously I don't call this the same thing the Adobe programmers did.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHow can I sort the files by filename in Media view in Elements Organizer 11?
I know I can do this in Windows Explorer, but it's important that I be able to do this in PSE, because I have a lot of files, and managing them is getting time-consuming.
I have a 3D view and when I turn on the clip boundary everything disappears, which leads me to believe that the clip boundary is off to the side somewhere. I zoom out & out, but can't find it.
Is there a way of resetting it? I could just make a new view, but I'd have to set the perspective again.
In this view I have hidden all the objects except for the one (a book case) that is being detailed. Every time I model something new it shows up in this view. Is there anyway of stopping new objects showing in a given view?
Windows, of course, does not allow thumbnail preview of PSD format. Is there a simple way of previewing PSD's without opening each one within PSCS?
I have many PSD slides (to preserve layering for subsequent changes) and all that appears within Windows Explorer/Viewer is the PSD/logo and name of the file.
i have got cs5.5 ,i have just got a nikon 5200 i shot in raw but i can not view my photos it only comes up dng
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy PSD files used to be visible as thumbnails now they are shown just as PSD files with no preview pic. I have searched the older topics and couldnt find an answer. I am using CS2 with Vista Ultimate 64 bit.
View 39 Replies View RelatedAny alternative browser maybe to view/preview giant sized .psb files? I am now working on files from 5 - 20 GB each, 30 - 50,000 pixels, and am stuck using Bridge to go thru them, which takes forever to create thumbnails, and is often unreliable, as every now and then Bridge will just refuse to create a thumbnail for a certain image or 2 and drives me crazy.
Am currently using CS3.
Yes I know this is an older version, I just wish there was a more efficient way to preview large files. PS obviously generates a flattened image preview every time u save, but the previews Bridge uses are fairly low res to my eye, yet it still takes ridiculously long to load each one, which I dont understand if during the save that preview image should be 'in' the file anyway.
I am using Photoshop Elements 10 Version 10 (20110831.m.17215) and everytime I plug in a memory card to upload images it wants to upload every image on the card, even though it has previously uploaded images from that card, even though I have the "Copy New Files Only (Ignore Already Imported Files)" box ticked in the preferences Camera or Card Reader section. This gets very frustrating and time consuming when I have to go through the images every single time to uncheck the images that have already been uploaded.
View 3 Replies View Related I recently bought a Canon 5d mark iii camera and am having difficulty viewing the raw files on my Mac. The Mac operating software is 10.5.8 and the mac doesnt have intel. Photoshop software is CS3.
I have looked at various plug ins but am struggling to find one that will work. Is there no option to me other than buying a new laptop with the latest photoshop or is there a workaround
I am a CS6 user, good but not advanced. I recently upgraded from a Nikon D3 to a D4. When viewing D4 files in Bridge after downloading the images (files) appear to contain a lot of noise and to be unsharpe; they appear sharp on the LCD screen on the camera. I believe I have set my preferences properly. When the files are opened in CR or CS6 the noise seems to go away and sharpness is normal; the images print up tack sharp.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAll working OK until 8 days ago, then bridge just disappeared completely. Looked like it had opened but would disappear when I clicked on the icon. Re-installed, Bride now visible but unable to view .CR2 files in camera RAW or in Photoshop, comes up as "unable to open".
Have tried to install the 5.7 camera raw update, extract files, click on application, then Photoshop opens and advises "invalid file type". Not sure what to do now and have a large number of wedding files slowly building up .
PSE 12 has a new feature under Preferences/Camera or Card Reader called "Alutomatically Stack RAW and JPEG." Checking this will stack a RAW & JPEG file combination, i.e., when shooting with the camera's RAW + JPEG setting checked. In my case PSE 12 appears to stack my Panasonic RAW files and each JPEG thumbnail shows the right facing arrow to expand the stack. When I click the arrow the arrow disappears but the stack does not expand to reveal the RAW file. The RAW file still exists on the hard drive, but I can't find any way to reveal it in PSE (I've not tried to re-import the RAW files because there are a lot of files in a lot of folders.) This is rather critical and needs to be fixed.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded from PSE 9 to 11. Where is the folder view that allows me to browse my hard drive, right click a folder and import all of the images in that folder that are not already in the catalog?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI always work via folders, click on it and see images as thumbnails to then work from, but it decided today not to play anymore. I cannot view folders at all. which settings should I check to reactivate this function?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been using Elements 10 Editor for over a year now and have not run across this problem before. Nothing weird has happened with the program, it starts up just fine. I've never had it crash on me before or anything, but for some reason I can't view any of the effects in the right panel. They seem to be missing. I have reset the panels, checked to make sure everything is set to veiw and I even ran updates. But nothing has fixed the issue. I've used the program very recently and all the effects were viewable before, its just today that it seems this problem has occured.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm searching for the "rotate view" tool in my trial version of PS Elements 11. Or some other convenient way to freely turn the canvas, allowing me to draw with my tablet comfortably.I want to rotate the image as a whole, without actually rotating/changing the picture, as you would rotate a sheet of paper. So no transformation. Is this compass-looking tool I've seen people use Photoshop-exclusive and not part of Elements?
