View 9 Replies View RelatedToday I downloaded a trial version of PSE. This means of course that I'm new to the game. I can follow a step-by-step guide though. Here's what I'd like to do: I've taken a dozen photos of an actor with a green screen as a background. Is there a way that I can chroma-key out the green and put in another color, like gray or perhaps a textured off-white?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI created a logo and then opened it as a layer so that I can make a website header image. It is shown here [URL] and as you can see the background is an off-white colour. It is probably unnoticeable to many, but I would prefer to get it right. How can I make the background a pure white so that it blends in with the white of the wordpress theme?
View 3 Replies View RelatedHow do I take a black and white photo and turn the background white into a color of my choice? I know that I can change the foreground (black) with monotone, but I want to change the white (inverting the image would just invert the problem, so it's no help). The text is too complex to mask or fill bit by bit. There must be a simple way to convert white to another color, but I am at a loss. I would be happy to include a file
View 11 Replies View Relatedhow i would remove a background from a picture, and turning it white, leaving only the person in the foreground unchanged. I can think of some pretty simple ways, but im looking for a way that makes a seamless transition from the orginal person in the picture to the white background without any jagged lines.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am trying to change the background of a photo. Not just change the color but change the color AND make it keep it's original shading, etc. I have some family photos we had made recently and they used a beige color draping for the background. The ones we had made before had a black draping. I was wondering how I could go about using some sort of additive coloring to transform the varying shades of beige to the same varying shades of black.
I have already used the masking tool to separate the background from the rest of the photo.
I have a jpg file (part of our logo) white background with black text and I would like to change it to transparent background and keep the black text (to be able to insert it on a cup image).
I tried to change it in photoshop, however, when I slide the "opacity" and "fill", the text got ligther as well.
Do I need to have the original psd.file to be able to do that, or can you please lead me through with jpg file? (I tried to save the jpg to psd and png, but it did not work.)
I looked on one of your videos, but I could not find one of the features under "Select" tab.
My plan is to recreate the text to have the transparent background if necessary (It would be great if I can avoid that). However, how do I find out which font was originaly used? Does photoshop has this feature, or do I need to go trough each of the font one-by-one?
how do I change space between letters (to have them more tight. I am not able to find it.
is it possible to change a old Black/White photo in to a nice color photo.?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI am using Photo Paint 9 to edit photos I took of some watercolors I did. Many of the photos are of a single animal on a white background (similar to the California state flag). When I printed many of these out they had a greenish tint (not a printer problem) so I went to Image--Adjust--Color Balance.... I adjusted the cursor on the Magenta/Green bar to -15 (towards Magenta) and hit ok. The problem is, now when I print, the image is ok but the background which I want to be pure white now has a pinkish (magenta?) tint to it.
Is there any way to isolate the image and get the background pure white again?
I would like to know how to delete a background from a photo and replace it with a different colour.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIn my previous version of Photoshop (I think 6) I was able to easily create a completely custom photo collage. I've been frustrated in my attempts to do the same in Elements 11. No. 1, how can I get a plain white background? Am I really stuck with the choices the program provides? No. 2, more importantly, how can I resize a photo once I put it on the collage? I used to be able to use the corner arrows to shrink or blow up a photo. I can't even figure out how to get the arrows.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have 1 picture with a blue background and a metal steel basin. I would like to remove the background and change the color to white.
Background is a material so it's not all perfectly the same color, very slight different shades of blue in the picture. The tutorials say outline it but this is a circular metal object. I tried using the circle tool but I can't get it exact and there seems to be no way to select a circle.

I want to change the backgroun color to a solid white before i save an image of an .iam to file.
so far:
Inventor.Color bgColor = InvApp.TransientObjects.CreateColor(255, 255, 255);
Camera.SaveAsBitmap("C:\Users\Dan\Desktop\test.jpg", 800, 800, bgColor);
This does nothing to the image, same gradient BG set from the colorschemes.
i tried:
InvApp.ColorSchemes.BackgroundType = BackgroundTypeEnum.kOneColorBackgroundType;
just for giggles and it does in fact change the BG to a solid grey. But after that, i see no way to change the BG.
InvApp.ColorSchemes.Item("Presentation").Activate;
does not work either as the .Item sub class does not even under the color schemes object. im sure i am passing the wrong color object to the save as bitmap method anyway -
