I've been using PSE 10 on an iMac (0S10.8.4) and printing photos on an Epson R2400 since March. When I returned from vacation in early July, the print menu was no longer available in Organizer. Instead, I was given the option of the print menu in Editor. It isn a much poorer menu and I am getting lousy prints. How to I get the print menu in Organizer back?

The "Organizer" menu bar which shows forward/back buttons, Search function, Organize, Fix, Create, Share functions etc. has suddenly disappeared. The program has been working fine for 3 years. I uninstalled the program and re-installed it but it did not fix the problem.

I've had alot of responses to different options, even from Adobe themselves, and nothing is working. I get the Welcome Menu screen but when I click on either Organizer or Edit nothing happens. I am the administrator on my home computer and tried launching as administrator but nothing works. I've tried launching it from "Program File" exe but nothing. When I do this I get this error message;
"Windows cannot find 'C:Program Files (x86)AdobePhotoshop Elements12PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."
I've tried a Install Photoshop Elements in a simplified mode, nothing. I've shut down my firewall and virus program and then install, nothing. Looks like I've stooped everyone. Now I can't even return it because the package is open.
My computer is a 64-bit Operating System, Intel (R) Core i7 CPU, 869 @ 2.80GHz, Windows 7 Professional.
My menu line on Organizer is sudden off. How can I get it back?

Read support from Adobe about PSE 8 Organizer a to get a print job done but no PRINT box to select. By Right clicking on photo print shows but crashes Organizer. Have sent a description back. PSE 8 was reinstalled after HD changed to SSD. Was reactivated after install.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using pse10 on a computer with an i7 processor with 12GB of ram and windows 7 with a color laser printer. The print function works fine while in organizer and sharing mode, but not from full edit. When I try to print from full edit, I get an error message with a red "X" on it that says: "Before you can perform printer related tasks such as page setup or printing a document, you need to install a printer." I can't figure it out. The printer is in "ready" state, and works fine in the organizer mode, and in share.

By the way, Elements 9 is so defective, it will not even let me back up my organizer in 9. The 9 organizer would let me select a photo, bring it into the editor, print it and then it would crash... then I had to start all over again... the darn thing crashes as it was prone to problems that adobe ignored. Is it better to just re-load all the photos from a fresh folder that is on my desktop? There are 5,000 !

It always finds them, frequently the same, imports them and then tells me they're already in the Organizer. During this process, which may last 5-15 minutes, I can't use the program.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been using Photoshop CS3 for awhile and printing fine. I just updated my print driver (Epson 3800 to version 6.5) as well as my graphics driver (NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT)at the same time. After rebooting I cannot click on the Print menu selection to print. IE: When I click on Menu the Print option is greyed and not selectable. Print as well as Page Setup, and Print One Copy are all greyed out (not selectable). I rolled back my graphic driver and rebooted and it still doesn't work. I then upgraded my driver again and it doesn't work. I've opened jpg's as well as psd files and no matter what file I open the Print menu's are greyed out. I can print from Word and other programs. I also reset my preferences (con-alt-shift) and still can't select print. I've done everything but uninstall. I'm hoping not to do that. My computer is on: Vista Ultimate 32 bit SP1, 4gb ram. In addition to updating the print driver and graphics driver I updated: Ultimate Extra Sounds, Group Policy Preference Client Side Extensions, Samsung CLP-310 Printer driver, and Microsoft Tinker.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn Photoshop CS6 under the view menu "print size" has been removed in version 13.0.4. Until 13.0.3 it was still there. Is there a good reason for it? Any known alternative? Workaround? I did use it a lot and miss it. On my main workstation I even went back to 13.0.3.
My guess is, that for "print size" showing the correct size on a given screen, the relevant screen resolution had to be set in preferences, and one had to know it, otherwise "print size" showed inproper size on screen. That might have led to remove it to not confuse retina screen users?
It (organizer) and Photoshop make me force quit when trying to sign in as well.

When I work the photo (JPG, TIFF or PSD) to where it is what I want, the preview is darker in the print preview. Probably one f/stop in photo terms. And, THIS is how it actually prints.
What is causing that? And, is there a fix?
None of the "show paper color," etc. are checked, so that is not causing the difference.
I have Windows 8 and am new to Elements 11. How do I get print to completely fill a 4 x 6 print paper?

I created/edited an album of wedding photos in the Organizer. I tried to upload album to Shutterfly to make an archival DVD and also make a photo book in Shutterfly. The photos uploaded individually to the Shutterfly print page to print individually, but the album will not upload to My Pictures, it shows the album name, but it is empty. How do I get the photos to upload?? Shutterfly was not sure how.

When I go to Elements organizer, a little box comes up saying "restoring people recognition data". It shows that it has run to 22% but then stops and I have to close out the photoshop program because I can't do anything else with it.This is a brand new, expensive, program. I've had Adobe Photoshop 8 since it first came out and had no problem. I see by the chat line that the Organizer (Adobe 12) has had problems since 2009....

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have installed PSE 11 and PRE 11 on my PC, running windows 8 64 bit. The programs were already running fine for several days but suddenly the organizer wont work. As soon as i start the program it starts up and disappears some seconds later. I only can see it in task manager as a process running in the background! When I start the editor first and afterwards the organizer (out from the editor) then the organizer stays and I'm able to work with. De- and Re-installation already done, several times.
