Mar 17, 2014I have Elements 10 on a MacBook Pro with Mavericks OS. The "Organizer" menu bar which shows forward/back buttons, Search function, Organize, Fix, Create, Share functions etc. has suddenly disappeared. The program has been working fine for 3 years. I uninstalled the program and re-installed it but it did not fix the problem.

When I returned from vacation in early July, the print menu was no longer available in Organizer. Instead, I was given the option of the print menu in Editor. It isn a much poorer menu and I am getting lousy prints. How to I get the print menu in Organizer back?

Jan 30, 2014I've been trying to get Adobe Photoshop Elements software to work on my computer since mid December. I've had alot of responses to different options, even from Adobe themselves, and nothing is working. I get the Welcome Menu screen but when I click on either Organizer or Edit nothing happens. I am the administrator on my home computer and tried launching as administrator but nothing works. I've tried launching it from "Program File" exe but nothing. When I do this I get this error message;
"Windows cannot find 'C:Program Files (x86)AdobePhotoshop Elements12PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."
I've tried a Install Photoshop Elements in a simplified mode, nothing. I've shut down my firewall and virus program and then install, nothing. Looks like I've stooped everyone. Now I can't even return it because the package is open.
My computer is a 64-bit Operating System, Intel (R) Core i7 CPU, 869 @ 2.80GHz, Windows 7 Professional.

Nov 2, 2013How do I transfer the entire organizer of Elements 9 to the empty organizer in Elements 12? By the way, Elements 9 is so defective, it will not even let me back up my organizer in 9. The 9 organizer would let me select a photo, bring it into the editor, print it and then it would crash... then I had to start all over again... the darn thing crashes as it was prone to problems that adobe ignored. Is it better to just re-load all the photos from a fresh folder that is on my desktop? There are 5,000 !

It always finds them, frequently the same, imports them and then tells me they're already in the Organizer. During this process, which may last 5-15 minutes, I can't use the program.

When I go to Elements organizer, a little box comes up saying "restoring people recognition data". As soon as i start the program it starts up and disappears some seconds later. I only can see it in task manager as a process running in the background! When I start the editor first and afterwards the organizer (out from the editor) then the organizer stays and I'm able to work with. De- and Re-installation already done, several times.

I'm running Vista Home premium SP2. The product was working OK until about a week ago but now wont open.
I have renamed the PSA file and the Status.dat file but no luck.
I have tried to get to catalog manager by CTRL-Shift on selecting organizer from the welcome screen but it just goes back to the desktop.
The Editor appears to work but I can't access Organizer from there either--nothing happens.
Photoshop Elements :: Organizer Crashes When Used With Mac OS X 10.9.2
Mar 25, 2014I am using Photoshop Elements 12 on a new Mac using OS X 10.9.2 Mavericks. The Organizer crashes frequently while I am browsing single images and using the direction arrows to look at the next image. It will also crash when I browse the thumbnails and enlarge a single image in the organizer. There are about 26k images in my library. Some are on an auxiliary drive. I have stacked the images into about 450 stacks to try and cut down on system workload. This problem can occur with only a few hundred images in the organizer from a new download. My system has 8 GB Ram and 1 Terabyte drive which is a combination hard and Fusion drive. The crashes do not occur on every image which is enlarged, just enough to make this process very frustrating. The system restarts quickly, but I have to find the image again and it usually crashes a few more times on the same image. Last week, it took two hours to select three images for a competition and the system crashed at least a dozen times.
I have not lost any data. I have been sending the reports to Adobe. So far I have sent more than 60 reports with no automated suggestions. I am finding this product unstable and unsatisfactory.
